Great result, I think we have all been plagued by bubbles at some stage but the heat gun is truly the best way to get rid of them. Have a great day 😊 💚
Bubbles are the bane of my existence. I end up sitting there popping them all with a toothpick :( definitely going to blast them with a heat gun next time.
I have a cold breath, so using a straw ain't gonna work for me, lol. There's also heating up the resin bottle in warm water (or infront of a space heater) for a few minutes to get rid of bubbles.
I use IPA to burst any bubbles on the surface, a quick spray and they pop, I also heat up my mixed resin in a warm pot of water, this lowers the viscosity of the resin to very thin and the bubbles rise.
I just decided like yesterday to try working with resin so I could make my own wedding place cards and hopefully save some money. Thank you for sharing this video! I'm trying to learn as much as I can before my stuff gets here.

Hi! Do you remember me from tutorial? I reupload the inportant questions here (only three) -Can kids do something with resin? Only those in 9-13. -Can we use the mask you had first? -Can we make resin outside?
Resin is probably better for older kids maybe over 16... but if you're their parent i guess its totally at your digression. The mask i had first is not ideal, a filtered mask is much better. It is ok to do resin outside as long as it is out of the elements (out of the sun, rain, wind etc). 💖
Im gonna steal a few of the wife's flowers I got her for our first anniversary, dry em out and try this to surprise her but will have to use a lighter. I just know I'm gonna fuck it up 😂
I have these hexagon moulds and I find that the ends start to weaken and go limp at the side after several use’s do you find this aswell? Love your work!
Im trying to find the right resin to use I’ve never done it before but i want to make things like hair combs trinket dishes and so on but i don’t know what stuff i should buy ??
I started with UV resin, it’s quick and easy, you can buy sets on amazon. Things to remember with uv resin; the mould needs to be semi transparent for the light to no through. Heavy pigments can sometimes block the uv rays. It’s more expensive overall.
Seriously Creative exactly you can not recommend but you could tell us what you use and we can decide what to buy. Watching your videos is part of our research.

Hey! 💕 Love your videos! Im looking for a bit of advice, I'm planning on buying similar moulds as the one in your video for coasters, would you think that they would suit this or would they be too big/the rim on the outside be annoying on a coaster?
I've tried using the straw but kept drooling in them and ended up in the resin which it might ruin it, annoying.. 😖I also have a heat gun in my Amazon Save for Later list in case i can able to buy it. I kept getting a lot of tiny bubbles which is kind of frustrating and i was also stirring slowly trying to avoid bubbles. I've struggled trying to get rid of bubbles but i hope the heat gun would save my life. And I call the bubbles, evil bubbles. 😂 And thanks for the helpful tip! :) Edit: And i was also using the Amazing Clear Cast resin brand which it was found in my local craft store in the USA.
What kind of measuring cups are you using when you use the heat gun on it to get rid of bubbles? I just got molds off Etsy but they say not to use heat guns on them while the resin in the mold. Trying to figure out how to use this hot gun! Please help, thank!
Could I get one layer of epoxy and let it dry hard and clear then add something to the middle and top with more resin and let it go hard like a resin sandwich, would I see the joining at the sides though
I’ve never seen anyone mix a different amount of part A than part B, what’s the reasoning behind this? Love the video! Doing my first molds this weekend!

Hi, thank you for sharing. I have just started with resin as i want to create a small business too 😊. However i am really struggling with bubbles in my resin. I have tried heat gun, hot water bath, and always mix slowly and follow instructions. I also have a heat mat and still i struggle. Seems to mainly be when i pour or add colour they all don’t come out. Please help with any suggestions x thank you. I honestly don’t know what i am doing wrong x
Almost all the beginner resin tutorials say that if u mix it there will eventually make some bubbles and I just bought a resin kit and I followed all the instructions and was mixing like really fast also!!! But for some reason there’s LITERLy NO BUBBLES and I don’t no why. Is it just because my resin is like that or do I have to mix more? I mixed 4 minutes already and there’s still no bubbles Edit: I just don’t know if that’s normal for some resins but I’m just tryna make sure coz idk if it’s only me
When do you add the gold or sticker or flowers or whatever? Immediately? Can you still use a flame or heat gun for getting rid of the bubbles after you added your decoration?
You can use heat or flame to pop bubbles at any stage of the process before it cures (as long as there is nothing flammable exposed like a sticker right on top etc)
