I have a cold breath, so using a straw ain't gonna work for me, lol. There's also heating up the resin bottle in warm water (or infront of a space heater) for a few minutes to get rid of bubbles.

I use IPA to burst any bubbles on the surface, a quick spray and they pop, I also heat up my mixed resin in a warm pot of water, this lowers the viscosity of the resin to very thin and the bubbles rise.

I started with UV resin, it’s quick and easy, you can buy sets on amazon.
Things to remember with uv resin; the mould needs to be semi transparent for the light to no through.
Heavy pigments can sometimes block the uv rays.
      It’s more expensive overall.

Thank you for this, could someone help with a question please. I want to make a tray thats going to be quite big. I wanted to know how big can I go without having to use a wood base under it. The tray needs to be able to hold max 6 small dessert plates. I'm worried that using epoxy resin it will bend in the middle if I don't use wood? I hope this makes sense 😅 thanks

when did you put the decorations in before pouring the resin or after?

After pouring, if you place them before you pour the resin will move them around

I got a heat gun off Amazon. But you should note heating the resin actually speeds up the curing process
