the waves did look rough but it must be a good size ferry to make a smooth ride, beautiful place to explore and camp
Thanks Craig, by the end of our road trip, I think we'd taken about 5 ferry rides, all were fine, thank goodness...it can be rough in bad weather in Scotland!
Beautiful view to wake up too... definitely a windy morning though! Beautiful scenery as you drive and that church looks stunning :) shame it was closed cool dock for the ferry, Great crossing despite it looking chopping glad it wasnt feeling choppy :) glad you made it over shame about the weather though but seemed to improve... that beach is stunning.

That Radar station is part of the UK defences, It used to be a fully manned station but now is remotely operated. Thanks for a view of the Islands we have not made it to the Uists yet. We are headed for Bute in August though but don't tell anyone LOL

Thanks Max, I tend not to shave nowadays when we go away for a long period of time, and yes, I definitely itch!
The Uists are beautiful. Just for reference they are pronounced you-ist not Oo-ist.
