- It's been a dream of mine to head up to Scotland in Boris. After many work trips to Hebrides, I knew I had to go back with Sophie and the truck. We had an absolute ablaut on the trip and I hope you enjoy.

If it’s the same 130, which I think it is, I was chatting to the owners of that 130 camper at Stratford last year, it’s a proper camper inside, air suspension, slightly compromised off road but an amazing vehicle.

Congratulations! Scotland is such a beautiful place to start married life. I walked the coastline of the Scottish Highlands by myself for 6 weeks back in 2015, all kinds of weather and ineffable memories. Can't wait to get my defender and tour on 4 wheels.

Great video! I'm currently building a mk2 Pajero to do the same routes across Scotland and wales, and looking at the same Vickywood roof tent, why did you choose not to camp in it on this trip, what's been your experience of it? Thank you!

What's Boris's plated weight with the tdi? I only ask as my td5 was fined £65 for going over a 3t bridge like 28:58 , the td5 is 3050kg. unlikely to get busted out in the wilderness though :)
The roof tent did not see much use in those high winds or did you forget the ladder again?
Yeah not sure they’re rated for 70mph winds….

The problem with Scotland and this is from a Scotsman, is that there is nowhere you can legally go off road. No green lanes or public rights of way. Well there might be one or two but that depends on who you listen to.
