Hi Yes 60x60 max if its 3mm wall if going any bigger I use aluminium with 4 to 5mm wall . Any larger your then upping motor size which ups the funds . Check out my insta as I'm on with another 👍
@@srenfreiesleben1028 yeah nah not worth it as mine does milling wood , aluminium and cuts and engraved glass plus tube notches and is a beast . Cost me 1180 quid and built in 4 days . Cuts more accurate than anything shop bought
Just basic ones these as I find they do the job great . Grab me on instagram and will send the links over to you . Helical racks you really need however out of most people's price range
@@smallgarageworkshop6119 I used Module 1.5 on previous build. This build I'm going belts and keeping very simple with linear rails. I am build a cantilever type. 1.5m x 1.5m. I was inspired by my small desktop laser engraver design. Still working on it but so far looks promising. I think I'm going Linux CNC to build my standalone type controls - all in one box. I use SheetCam so it is compatible.
Hi Yes I'm working on it as the latest one I have built was bolts only so a massive possibility. I'm installing this latest one next week so will be posting on here to let people know.
I know absolutely nothing / Zero about plasma cutting, and even less about setting up a CNC table, but you obviously know what you are talking about. I'm hoping you have, or will have enough info in future videos to walk a complete novice through the construction of a similar table.
Hi Gerald To be honest I was going to do with this build but there was so much to do with the garage and stuff I just had to bang on with it however I did take photos of the steps so may do another as all this on here is fit around a normal 60 to 70 hour a regular job 😀
Ha ha no I don't cut anything while she in as she hates the compressor or any load noise . No animals are hurt or severely injured in any of my videos 🙈🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Awesome machine! Thanks for sharing your build. May I ask what the dimension of the tubing is? Is it 60x60mm? Many Thanks,
Dan

Cool setup :) I am trying to make my own CNC plasma as well, found some drawings etc from a guy in US.
We're are you from ??
@@smallgarageworkshop6119 I am from Denmark. Have been looking at the Langmuir systems for a while, but it would be very costly to get it to Europe

@@srenfreiesleben1028 you can see what it cuts on instagram proper . @smallgarageworkshop
@@smallgarageworkshop6119 ohh cool, did not know that it could do all of that :) And you made all the drawings etc yourself ?
Nice 👍
What rack and pinion module is that?

@@smallgarageworkshop6119 yeah they are very pricey here in South Africa. Everything here for CNC is very pricey
Thanks 🙏
@@shaneschuller2513 I mean this latest one for a good friend I think has cost about 825 pound so not too bad 😉. . Not sure how much if I posted over
