Diy CNC Plasma Cutter (Jasic cut 45)
Hello, thanks for your video. Could you tell me what power you have installed at home to use that Rebel 205ic ac/dc? I like it so much. I live in Spain, here the energy is expensive and I have to buy a device according to my installation. Thanks and good luck.
@Cadejota Hello hope your well , Yes I currently run these on a 240v 16amp supply and can run them full blast as these are 235 amp on mig and 205 on tig. These will run on a generator and also on 240v 13amp which is the regular supply but you would only get to around 170amp before fuses may pop . Cheap to run as having one turned on all day welding then fitting then welding etc it costs about 1 pound a day . Hope this helps as they are pretty efficient
@Cadejota If you fancy one I can probably get it lots cheaper than you can shipped so let me know. These come to UK with a European plug on it as we have to cut them off to fit out plug.
@@smallgarageworkshop6119 Thank you very much. 👍🏻
@Cadejota no worries 👍
Hi, I have a question for you, when you switch the jasic welder off does it shuts down straight away or it takes couple seconds before it turns off? I just bought mine and it shuts down instantly which is very unusual as all welder i had before took few seconds.
@ernestk3152 Hi , Much depends on the model but the Evo 200 acdc will turn off pretty much straight away unless the fan is running and so it will take a few seconds . The pro series for me are slightly better than these Evo as better fan on demand and just in general like the ACDC mini . I have swapped all these out now for EWM due to bits and bats I wasn't happy about
@@smallgarageworkshop6119 thanks for reply, i actually bought evo acdc because of your videos :D since ur not paid to review them and sound honest. looks like i missed few recent videos from you...
@ernestk3152 Yeah I mean I hammer them though and still the best for buck to be honest but had lots of questions regarding the pedal and stuff which I never had. Thing is when I do tig tuition students make me an offer on the machines and the time was right. I'm sure you will love it though mate
Здравствуйте. У меня вопрос можно ли на этот апарат поставить кнопку с рекулировкой тока с держака. Трех пиновую?
Hi Please explain as what I think you mean is yes you can 👍
I used dozens of the ewm 3 phase migs back in the day, Its crazy how far they've come. Good insight pal👍
Great video , very informative , ..Its so handy to be able to watch the video and follow along rather than having to read the translation and often work out what the auto translate actually should have said , looking forwards to the part two .
Lovely machine they are 👍
Looks nice that mate.
Great work! Do you have a photo that shows the possision for the adjusted pressureswitch?
@@jwagmo you need to adjust it depending on your type of torch so it's a case of moving until the red light dissapears 👍
I’ll try that, thanks!👍
Great machines. I'm personally Fronius but EWM are probably better for steel.
@@JohnSmith-ho8up yeah fronius up there but customer service isn't so the choice was EWM . Machines very similar
@@smallgarageworkshop6119 I might be wrong I've had no problems with Fronius after sales.. They must have improved
@@smallgarageworkshop6119Is the pulse function worth it? Does it make a big difference with splatter?
@@JohnSmith-ho8up good question as its about 900 quid more than the synergic model. If aluminium is your thing then yes for sure as other than swapping out the liner and rollers it just powers through 6mm straight off with no issues. Up to now nothing better than this on the single phase anyway
Hi! I don't understand english really good. I want to ask you, did they give you for free this welding machine forever or did they borrow for this videoclip and then you gave the welding machine back to them?
@@AlexandruCurea-t2m Hi I buy them for these but do get great offers so not so bad . Lots of EWM machine stuff on the way
@@smallgarageworkshop6119 Thx for answer! Could You Tell me the price for this Welding machine?

Cool workshop and nice channel mate 👍
My workplace got me one today. Not a clue how to navigate it yet but I did get the manual on a USB stick, I printed off all 80 pages in colour lol. Can I ask how are you starting your arc? Do you have a button on that little torch? And what's the benefits of a water cooled torch.
@@nathanwilliams7315 give us a bell mate and will through it with you as be easier 👍
Very interesting. Thanks... These look FANTASTIC, especially the roller system. I still chose the Fronius 2200 and am absolutely delighted with it. I now have the 4.5m lead and torxh which has a light and current change facility on the torch, it's superb. Does EWM have such torches?
@@JohnSmith-ho8up Hi Yes they have so do take a look as some are mega pennies www.ewm-sales.com/en/Welding_torches/MIG_MAG/Gas_cooled_____PM_series/Standard_torches--13821.html. Ignore the prices though on here as much cheaper via a supplier . I'm hoping to do a much better review shortly on all the EWM I have when I grab a min . Cheers for the comments 👍
Back then atleast, it was the only 230V pulsed welder from a reputable Brand in the world. now with the inbuilt PFC, it can actually weld with high amperages without blowing breakers all the time.
Do you know how to enter to hidden menu?
On the ACDC mini you hold the 2 buttons in and keep pressed while you switch on . Will beep 3 times then display go to P01. Not so sure if it works on this model though
@@smallgarageworkshop6119 thank you! I will try that😊
Best explanation and teaching that I found from all the videos out there! Thanks
Is jasic tig 200p ac/dc good welding machine? They got new model that looks fancy but is double the price
Hi Yeah and it's not double the price as give me Dm as it's not much more and will sort you a price out . Yes the Evo is lots better plus I also have a video on it too . Send me an email on smallgarageworkshop@gmail.com
Good machine!👍
С ewm он и близко не сравнится.
Well neither is the price range though , I have the latest tetrix and all the other EWM ,S however this is the best for buck in the price range. I mean let's be serious here this machine with the cooler was 1200 quid my EWM with cooler was almost 6000 lol so can't compare
They are excellent machines to get people starting but yeah it's no tetrix . I will be going through the tetrix on here shortly
Скажи пожалуйста. На максимальном токе 200ампер.он сразу уходит в защиту? Или можно варить какое-то время?
Will you know how to restart this machine? It is that in the display appears "e-1" and in the manual says that you have to restart the machine but does not say how to do it
Hi Yes E1 is over heating and generally you don't need to restart the unit as you can just leave the unit . I would remove the covers and give it a good clean plus make sure the unit has good ventilation when welding . Had this also when you set the unit on water cooling but have the cooler turned off as you can also do this in the new EVO model . 👍
@@smallgarageworkshop6119 Hello, I remove the cover and if there is good ventilation and I keep appearing "e-1" on the screen, in the manual says this..."Protection error codes When the overcurrent indicator illuminates and the digital meter displays “E-1” it indicates that overcurrent occurs. Restart the machine and welding can be continued." My question is how to restart the machine?
When they say restart the machine they mean turning it off and back on again . Jasic will let you speak to the engineers if you call them and they will help you for sure . Generally when this over heats you turn off and back on. As far as I know there is no hidden setting in this machine to reset the E1
Why does your title uses word plasma?
As its done on a plasma table 😊
I have a Fronius - I asked their support directly for a pin out of the TransSteel 2200 MIG welder TIG socket and within 5 mins I had a service manual emailed over with all the info and more. I was a bit shocked but TBF they were great with me. Now OPREL on the other hand what a load of ***
EWM are really nice welding machines! I have the first version of Picomig 180, probably 10 years old now. The machines were red at the time, and EWM doesn't change styles every year, so the new 220 Pulse still has the same casing and feeder. I also have a Tetrix 300 AC/DC with Retox 12 pole TIG torch. Nice to be able to change parameters and programs on the torch. Previously also had a Taurus 405 S, but sold it due to changes in my business. I am currently employed, and where I work we only have Kemppi welding machines. Works daily with Kemppi MasterMig 205 and 355, both pulse machines. 355 has a few more programs, including double pulse, MAX cool and MAX position. Really nice machines too! Looking forward to more videos on how the 220 works!
I agree fronius are useless
I'm not sure if they are useless as never got that far . Nobody ever got back to me so was a none starter were as EWM went beyond and even paid me a visit 👍
@@smallgarageworkshop6119 the machines are brilliant, but as you say the after service is what makes or breaks the sale. I had a Fronius machine and had trouble with jt. They had the machine for 2 months and couldn’t solve the problem. Very disappointing. Your EWM kit looks amazing and just the fact they gave you a visit is cool. Well done on the machines 😎 👌
@@smallgarageworkshop6119I’ve had trouble with Fronius and they didn’t help at all. Your EWM kit looks proper smart love the matching set going on. What a great thing of them coming down for a visit.
They're not.. These machines are slightly better but from experience recently the after sales at Fronius is improving
Far from it ,,, I will put the transsteel up against any machine with similar specs , I was going to buy an EWM but got a deal on trans , my tig is EWM and its top quality too.
Hi how did the machine held up. I'm thinking to buy one but im not sure about it's longevity

I use CK 9 , CK17 or CK 26 depending on your amps . I always use CK but torches don't come with a switch so any switch to your amphenol will work
