The Best 3.5 coaxial / midrange - Pioneer TS-A879 Review/ Demo

This is by far the best 3 1/2 tweeter/ midrange coaxial in my opinion. I probably will do another review on power handling. I am just particular in this little budget SQ build. A lot of people want to use bullet tweeters but they have that little hiss at turn on until you pump up the volume. I just want clarity at any volume.

i totally agree. these are killer 3.75 speakers. i have these and the kenwood xr-1701 hi rez speakers in my doors in a mercedes sl 550 and it all sounds so freaking good

With any midrange or tweeter these need the included crossover cap or in my case I used an 80uf instead of the 47uf supplied,crossover at 500hz lower than the 850 the smaller cap gives you. These will not play well below 100hz.

Yes the instructions say to use the included inline filter. At least that is.

Nope. The RMS is two low. I'd go back to these before the Fosgate 3.5s ( they only have 40 RMS).
