Hi everyone!!! Welcome back or welcome to my channel ❤️ this is meant to be video as a rough guide please adjust to your liking: whether you choose to air dry, diffuse from wet hair, not root clip, root clip when we or dry, etc. This is just what I do sometimes 😉☺️ as is the case most times!

An My hair is always very frizzy, bad. An that's no matter what I use or do. Also if You can maybe name a few inexpensive brands for Me to try, the steps for Me to take & try, and let Me know if maybe I should actually try a diffuser, blow dry, or like a straightener PLZ ?? Thank You. I'm tryna to make sure I tell You everything about My hair So it will help You help Me, lols. If there's anything I've missed or leaving out, Please ask Me, and I'll respond once I get it & see the questions Your asking. My hair is still not entirely all one length yet. It's been almost 2yrs ago since I had it cut, trimmed, and thinned last. But I don't poof My hair like before anymore. Would You say that Me waiting that long to get a cut, trim, and thinned, AND Me getting it thinned just about every time I do get it done???

Some curly fanatics love putting labels on everyone and their hair type. Curly or wavy, it doesn’t matter. The curly girl method works for all levels of wavy/curly.

How is that not curly hair? I'm confused, she has such beautiful big curls. It's sad how people always find something to nitpick at.
Some people act like it's an exclusive club. If you don't have super-tight ringlets and dare to call your hair curly, oh boy, better watch out. Even worse are the ones accusing girls with gorgeous hair of faking it or "forcing" their curls. It's hilarious.
Her hair is the best type of curly hair!! Soft ringlets are so much prettier than tight.

I like using the term textured hair. I have 2c waves and 3a curls and some weird hairs that don't seem to do either but aren't straight. Now that it's been 9 months since I started the CGM the weird ones are less and less. People should just quit correcting others and let people call their own hair whatever they want to. It's no ones place to judge.

I think your hair is curly - DEFINITELY- and you are GORGEOUS!
In my 58 years I wish I learned how to make my curls look as beautiful as yours! This photo of me is using my chi flat iron that I’ve used constantly for the last 12 years. -Root clip! What a major difference to the look, instead of a flat frizzy top!! I color my hair too because I’m 85% gray 🙁 I’m so frustrated with my hair, I want to cut it short, like a pixie! Haven’t had it that short since the one time I had it cut short in the 70’s and I vowed that short hair was NOT for me. Today there are so many products and techniques I’m wanting to try, but watching these videos, I’m reconsidering. Great job! Gorgeous hair!
Valerie O I understand your pain. 58 years old too and back when we were growing up, straight hair was the style! I’ve fought my hair all my life in one way or another! They didn’t have all these great products & resources for curly hair back then.

It's nice to see someone on UA-cam whose hair looks a lot like mine. I'm 52 and I've been trying this out for about 5 months. I washed, dried and rolled my hair on hot rollers everyday since i was 12! I've always been the lady with the beautiful curly hair But I never knew I could get it to look just as good without all that heat. It takes me 4xs longer to fix but I can make it last several days where before it had to be washed everyday without fail. I noticed people asking about your cut. It's basically a layered cut with shorter bangs than most cuts you see nowadays. It's pretty much the best for our kind of hair.
Do you think it's possible to diy this cut? I'm your age and going through the same transition from curlers to natural, but my hair is too long.
I received a comment about my saying that I don’t need for you to stand up for me when someone says I don’t have curly hair. That is my way of saying “Thank you for standing up for me but I don’t need anyone standing up for my wavy hair when there is a whole natural hair community that is not being stood up for.” THANK YOU ❤️
I agree so hard about what you said regarding the natural hair community and it's been an issue for awhile. On the flip side, I can see how someone could feel some type of way about you saying "I don't need you standing up for me". I'm glad you clarified that, and I loved the video.

I just learned so stinkin much about my curly/wavy hair. Im a hairdresser and I’m a little embarrassed but to say but have to tell you I have never seen the root clip before now I can’t wait to wash my hair and try this. Great video so thankful is came up in my feed. 😃

I’ve never been able to forgo combing my hair. If I don’t it ends up looking like a rats nest. I think certain hair textures or cuts allow you to get away with not having to comb your hair. Your hair length is perfect example! ❤️
You can comb your hair in the shower when you have the conditioner. But once you towel dry no combing.

Finally found someone with the exact same type of hair as me !!! So coooool ! And people, her hair is definitely wavy in the curly girl community (type 2) but in common people’s mind yes.... this is what we call curly hair. 🥰

Desert curl struggles, yay! It's hard to find advice for the desert climate. Love your cut too! My hair is fine but thick, and I diffuse for 45 minutes because air dry will take all day. I'm following your tips next wash day!
Yeah I have to air dry halfway, or it would take me more than 8 mins to diffuse 😂😂😂

I have wavy hair and i started cgm due to a halo of frizz. I still have frizz but not as bad. My children used to tease me it was so bad so i am happy with the difference. Wavy haired people need cgm as well as we have our own set of problems.

I've only been to TJ but I'm from San Diego so it totally doesn't even count 😂 Mexico is our next family vacation destination for sure 💗 El Salvador has 2 seasons, dry and rainy.... So for the next 6 months at least it would be entirely pointless to use heat on my hair.
