Welcome back to my channel - or if you’re new here - Hi 👋🏼
I wanted to make a quick video showing how I diffuse, for the sake of time I sped up the video but the diffusing in fact only took me about 10 mins after air drying with root clips in (how I do this in my previous video) for about 30 minutes while doing my makeup.
I find air drying first speeds thing up A LOTTLE.
As you can see, this gives me volume and bouncy curls while still holding onto the definition in my waves.
Will soon be posting a tutorial on Spanish for those of you that are Spanish speakers ❤️❤️❤️

You have an AMAZING haircut! I have seen MANY curly videos before but you're hair is SO beautiful and I recognize that one of the main reasons is your LAYERED, haircut!! Where do you get it cut!!?

Thank you. I was waiting for such a video at a time when I have recently bought a diffuser for the first time. But I did not know that scrunching out the crunch takes much scrunching. I wonder how long this takes.
It usually doesn’t! I got a really hard cast this day, most of the time it takes me about 2 minutes to fluff my hair.

Looove your haircut. End result is amazing. Just one thing...do try looking directly into the camera lens instead of at the viewfinder or display to look at yourself. As a viewer, it's like talking to someone but that person just keeps looking at something/someone else, you know?

Was really looking forward to a good thorough diffusing video with the Black Orchid from start to finish.
I got half of one.
If you’re too impatient to diffuse on a given day (hey it happens to all of us), maybe don’t throw that together and use it as your diffusing video...?
Be honest. You went through the whole intro, and it would be totally ok to say “ok I gave up - I will film my full diffusing another time” - and then decide on a day to film bc you know you plan to stick it out, and use that for the second part of the video to get the back dry. I would’ve loved to know how you get ALL the back (do you flip over, etc, bc the Xtava IS big and bulky and hard to get the back) and I’m sure I’m not the only one.
But this genuinely wasn’t helpful based on the video title.
Hi Melissa, while that sounds like it’s be a great video it’s very rare that I ever diffuse my hair fully. Being 100% honest I just don’t have the time. My hair is most dense in the back so about 80% of the time this is how I diffuse my hair and I usually go back and forth between diffusing and air drying when I’m getting ready. If I need to, I will flip over and tousle the back with the diffuser. This is simply how I do it and I’m sorry that wasn’t helpful for you however there are many videos on UA-cam and Instagram that may be more helpful. I hope you find what you need ❤️ I’m not “giving up,” but I’m also not gonna spend more than 15 mins diffusing my dense, thick, wavy hair. It’s not realistic for me and behind the chair I say to my clients if you just need to get the hair to stop dripping and run out the door that’s ok. 👍🏼
Perhaps in the future I will film a video like the one you described if that becomes something I do on a regular basis.

Coming from someone who trains co-workers, you can't offer a tutorial and then peace out in the middle of it cuz you've lost patience. I mean you can I guess cuz you did, but this didn't offer any new insight that doesn't already exist on your other vids
