- What happens when you go flat out on a Lamborghini V10? You get a video that details why people aspire to own a Supercar like this. We discuss the engineering, the excitement, and all of the technical details of what makes this last-of-a-generation car so amazing to experience. This is a docu-style video, much like our Lexus LFA, Nissan GTR, Corvette Z06, and Porsche GT3 productions.

The best thing about when savagegeese reviews great sounding cars is that this will probably be the best audio you will ever hear of the car besides being there in person.
True that!
I hope that audio testing just involves Jack hammering the throttle.
That engine has all the stereo performance anyone could wish for 😊
Shame they can't fix the audio from the German guy on the other end - that was close to unlistenable.
Money doesn’t buy you happiness. This is enjoyment. Happiness will come from the experience and the sharing of this experience with other people. You can take this out on the back road and enjoy it and enjoy the experience. You can take this on the back road with someone in the passenger seat and share the experience, and that enjoyment will turn into happiness. There’s a difference. Happiness is free by the way. Some of the best moments that you have had in your life, some of the happiest moments that you had in your life, came from sharing an experience with other people; and that was free. Things will not make you happy.
They seemingly made sure the engine note was in tune with the song during the intro, it's incredible.
My wife just got one of these for her birthday! Man her boyfriend takes such good care of her
In this bubble economy, looks like your wife is getting the bubbling!!!🤗
😂😂😂
Wsb style
😂😂😂
@@JHONNYR98That’s what I hear these days
Next time someone says money doesn't buy happiness i'm gonna show them this video. Jack driving on the lap gave me all kinds of feels. What a beast this thing is.
😂 only poor people say that.
@@mayamanignonly middle class people and rich people say that tf? Literally never heard a poor person say that in my life. If anything they believe the most it will.
Yeah, except he didn’t have to buy it… I guarantee it’s a lot less fun when your worrying about maintenance, tires, depreciation, etc.
6:37 says it all
@@Defy_Conventionthe cackling is delirious 😂
As a german car guy I know Rouven very well, he is a real car guy who also works on and modifies older cars in his sparetime.
That’s awesome!
We need more guys like this keeping the hobby alive.
I remember Rouven years ago when he visited the Hoonigans with a manual converted Audi TT Biturbo Clubsport! He's as passionate then as he is now and I'm glad to see him doing well 👍
Mark and Jack make the best car videos. Thank you for all your extremely hard work you put in each and every video like piano black in cars
Glad to hear they focused on driver enjoyment vs lap times.
I remember one of the Throttle House guys once mentioning that modern super cars can go so fast that it can actually be physically unpleasant to drive. Makes sense for companies to figure out that line and optimize around it.
I recall Clarkson blowing out his neck muscles from testing a Skyline GTR. Too much traction isn’t that fun after a while.
He finally went full lambo, Jack's silver ingot business deals have gone through successfully
Also, kind of bittersweet to hear the CTO talking about how much effort they put into making it fun to drive and molding their entire strategy around driving sensation, when in reality 95% of the models sold are bought by old duffers and put into air conditioned garages to be kept as collectors pieces.
SG has come full circle in the range of supercars. What's next? Still looking forward to the NSX documentary but this is the other end of the scale. Couldn't get an Audi RS3 but a Lamborghini is available, that's doubling down. Great feature video, Jack's smile during the drive says everything you want to know.
Best editing of an intro sequence you guys have ever done
Insane production quality and honest fun. The quality of the POV and chase footage is fantastic.
Mark’s PT Cruiser chase car kept up with the Lambo. Good job Chrysler, good job 😂
@@hondahirnyIt was PT Turbo fyi with new coolant hoses.
Must be amazing coolant hoses! @@savagegeese
Silverback Gorilla Jack in his final form was honestly the most sincere joy I've ever seen on a UA-cam reviewer's face. I've often wondered if supercars like this are 'worth it' and I think it's absolutely evident that if you can afford something like this, there is no substitute. NO matter how good sport cars like Supras, M3s, Corvettes, etc may be, none of those have ever illicited that kind of a response
I currently own a LP570-4 Superleggera and I'm hoping to be able to upgrade to the STO in a year or two.
You two laughing your asses off and smiling uncontrollably is everything I love about cars. Thanks for the excellent video, fellas!
This is the pure unadulterated hooliganry I come here for.
I don't think I've ever seen them have more fun in a car on this channel than this one.
I love how well the exhaust came in and out of tension with the music in the intro. That was excellent, thank you.
When Jack bounced it off the rev limiter the first time...and I knew it was coming sooner or later...instant goosebumps.
Thank you guys for the unmatched content as always.
Due to changing interests I’ve been unsubscribing to many of the auto channels I’ve been following , but will always keep you guys as well as Everyday Driver. This was a great piece. Thank you!
No love for throttle house??
@@115jwalker I absolutely love those guys they bring me to tears but just need to pull back. Mark, Jack , Todd and Paul need me more.
Throttle house and the Geese.
Raiti’s Rides for day 1 news.
That’s all I will ever need
@@clubracer6 I can respect the minimalism. Don’t let the algorithm control you!
My 3 favs are SG, Everyday Driver, and Hagerty-Revelations. Honorable mentions are THE SQUIDD, Raiti's Rides and Smoking Tire.
The intro to this video brought tears to my eyes...
Mark, after watching your emotional GT3 video where you shared your upbringing and how your dad exposed you to cinema, I cannot help but think of Tarantino when I watch your videos. Please keep up the good work! You guys are a great team with great chemistry and I wish you each continued success!
Just watched the intro again for a second round of goosebumps...
I just watched this video again. Goosebumps and tears. The car and this video are each masterpieces. Mark, you f***ing killed it. The music and the shots and the editing: KILLER!
I'm so glad y'all have been getting access to more and more cars!! It seems like people in the industry have really come to appreciate your format. I'm sure that the engineers and designers love getting the chance to share their process😃
Never thought savagegeese would review a lambo
Pretty sure that a lam… bo, oh, it is a Lambo
The upshift is perfectly aligned with the chord resolve in the song at :50 . Replayed it several times for pure enjoyment. *Virtual bro hug*
Thank you so much. I was considering several supercars, and your review has persuaded me to remove this one from the list due to my large unit up front.
Your reviews from basic cars to cars like this are so good. You guys give a fair shake to everything you review and seem to pull no punches. Once again, thank you.
Maybe you should see your doctor to get some help with your large unit
This is the zenith of what a car can be.
The love of everything automotive is everywhere on this vehicle.
Another masterpiece, thanks for putting out unique videos in the space, nobody else even comes close, its clear you guys are enthusiasts and this isn't just a job to phone in.
I’ve never seen two grown men so giddy in my entire life. That kinda says it all
This parked orange car is the best Zoom background ever.
As someone who absolutely loves cars, I can only appreciate and thank Mark and Jack for all they do. Best channel on UA-cam by a long mile!
The amount of joy and glee emanating from this video as Jack is driving is contagious lol. It’s honestly become my favorite part of these videos. Please do more videos like this one 😂😂😂
safe to say we could all be sat here for half an hour listening to the engine noise and those two giggle. Incredible,, and also how SG doesn't have a millions subs boggles my mind.
I can’t stop watching the first section. Great work guys!
This is the best STO video by an infinite margin. Nothing has come close to showing how exciting this car is.
The Jack Silverback laugh is glorious!
Man that thing is a masterpiece. From the visuals, to the sounds, to what I can only imagine it feels like to drive it. I know exactly the feeling you mean of looking back when you get off. You feel like a friggin' giddy kid brimming with excitement and admiration.
The review matches and complements the calibre of the car.
Christ! That glorious sound! Your description of driving it on track was perfectly matched by how you chose to film it. Superb!
The on track driving footage with your reactions could have encapsulated everything anyone needed to know about this car, but I am so glad you guys went so far above and beyond to bring the extra info, I love hearing from the creator find out what they were thinking, it’s awesome to see the human element behind these machines.
You guys are approaching Top Gear levels of production value. Awesome work!
Naah this stuff is better. TG has traditionally had poor editing, Horrible camera filters at times and terrible audio.
@@tailsneon556 Fair points, I agree. I was referring more to the creative ways that the old TG used to introduce a car for a review segment. See the review for the Lambo Sesto Elemento from Series 20, for example.
I could like this 12 times and it still wouldn’t match how awesome this video is.
I recently discovered your channel and love it. I don't know anyone who blends passion, humor and cold analysis so perfectly. Guys, keep up the good work
1:07 peak editing. Whoever lined up shifts and engine sounds to the beat in the entire intro is a fuckin genius.
You are one of the few who caught that detail. In fact many times engine tone matches notes in music. The editing piece of this took hours.
@@savagegeese audiophiles unite
I'm *SO* glad my favorite geeses reviewed this car!
By now I've watched a few reviews on the STO that left me thinking it was just a overpriced guaded-up RWD Performante with a placebo roof scoop.
Now I that I've seen it undressed I understand just how over-engineered this car really is, from it's beautiful underbody to it's crazy aero which reminded me of the LFA.
Thanks to you guys I have much more appreciation for the Huracan and I hope you get your hands on more Lamborghinis like the Aventador since no one is really doing them justice like ya'll do 🙏
Thanks for this awesome production. Great content.
Thank you gentlemen. Within the first three minutes of this video you acknowledged the everyman and the enthusiast, and made both welcome.
Ruven Mohr is great. he is also friends with a very successful German tuner, JP Performace. Maybe you know him already, but if you don't he is a funny dude! Also, Jack, the one-handed drifting and banging off the rev limiter made my day!
This is a dream car review! Can’t believe Mark and Jack had the opportunity to review this Lambo and then conduct an amazing interview 🎉
Jack going full Gorilla is exactly what I needed to start my Friday 😂
Have to say... this is the best youtube channel for REAL car people
The best part of seeing one of these at a gas station, was HEARING it on startup...chills.
Smiles per mile look pretty high on this one...that was not expected. Cool!
The cinematography is absolutely incredible.
That looks like so much fun. Never realized I wanted one of these.
Nothing more sincere than the hysterical laughter around the track!
There’s a point where video becomes art. This video is that point!! You guys absolutely rock!
Every single video you guys make gets better and better. I’m beyond impressed.
This was beautifully done. Vids like this are the reason I'm a supporter.
Awesome review, can't believe it's taken this long for you guys to get a lamborghini! Congrats and thank you for creating this piece
Your videos are art, such a relaxing time watching every one of your videos. Thank you.
Honestly, this video made me feel good to watch. None of us will ever buy this car, but it seems to be vehicle that delivers what is advertised. Cool to see that come together and expressed in a video.
Such an amazing car. One of the all time greats. I’m going to miss that glorious V10 so much. Amazing work on this. Loved every second. Thank you for creating this
“When your here, your familia”
This was a cool piece. Had no idea that Lambo made a "drivers car", but kind of makes sense given their recent focus on sports car racing. Would have been blissfully unaware of it's existence of not for SG. Very cool to see and hear this thing properly flogged on track, thanks for sharing! 👍👍
Jack sporting that post-coital grin and glow at 8:56; that automobile is one amazing piece of engineering.
I'm not a lambo guy, but this is one of the most special vehicles in existence, period.
Outdid yourselves again! Great video
All your videos are car review goals. From one creator to another.
Thankyou for going out of the way to do all these amazing stories for us 🥰
Amazing video and car! Thank you for this masterpiece, Mark and Jack!
That added POV section was perfection!
You guys certainly know how to romanticize a car. That was beautiful ♥️
Great video and the feels and emotions when driving one of these really shines through. Also happy that you both have the opportunity to drive exotic cars on track flat out. Much love!
Honestly that begining pov with the digital tach just bouncing around between shifts with the exhaust responding to each movement was just poetry. I was giggling just watching it
This is one of your best videos yet guys! This must be watched on a big screen with surround sound to truly enjoy the video production and sound! The driving segment had me smiling and laughing! Keep up the fantastic work!
I'm used to seeing the boys review Ford Bronco Sports and KIAs. How the hell did they get their hands on a Lambo? I guess Mark really has become a UA-cam influencer.
Not long ago Rouven hooliganed around at German car meetings with all the different cars he has… and now he is the Lambo CTO.
Godspeed to you Sir!
You guys were laughing like little school girls!!! It shows you guys had a great time driving this car. Great review!!
Another vid that goes beyond just some pretty pictures, it captures feeling/emotion so beautifully.
Amazing video guys. Thanks for taking on this project!
You two are truly the only two people to make me say "oh fuck yes!" When I saw it was a Lamborghini STO up for review.
.
Oh and you definitely didn't disappoint. 🔥🔥🔥
Great review guys! Love your reviews. The emotions you conveyed while driving this were priceless. The balance of driving and technical details! Amazing car but also an extremely well done review! Would love to see you guys review the 8 year old speciale too.
This car is sick! You guys get some of the best cars to drive and have fun with! Great video!
Props to the camera man for being able to keep up with the lambo.
Awesome Video guys, you just keep getting better and better
The sound of this thing is absolutely incredible
Yes yes yes. Introing with a pov portion for these kinds of cars is so perfect
these vids always the highlight of my friday mornings.
I really like how you integrated the interview footage. It was clever and visually interesting.
I think the only other car content on youtube that comes close to this level of production quality are jason cammisas episodes on hagerty, and you guys do it with probably 1/10th or less the budget.
Incredible audio capture, exellent visuals, amazing framing and composition and all the technical details that I never get in other places and thats not to mention the insanity that is making all of your own music for these videos which is always top notch.
Keep it up guys you really have something special going on here!
What a beautiful video. Thank you!
Best car reviews on the internet, great job guys.
Thankyou for the shots of all the technical areas under the car as this is very interesting and a great reference. This car looks like a lot of fun on the track.
I still think it's awesome that you can get access to the engineering team and staff of these major manufacturers.
I doubt many other journalists even ask to speak to them.
You have to speak their language in order to ask the right questions and understand the answers.
This video was amazing. Good golly! Thank you Mark and Jack.
Man I love these Huracans… such an amazing all around sports car
commenting to give this video the flowers it deserves
The Goose and the Ape make another great long-form video. The opening track session reminded me of 2001: A Space Odyssey when the apes discovered the Monolith
So well done, hats off to you guys.
i really hope this eventually does numbers for you guys. the production value is so immersive and spectacular
Very cool video guys, thanks for the upload. Even though I like the mass majority of us will not own one of these, it's still exciting to learn about everything behind and in the car.
**slow clap** love the opening. Awesome job - no words, just the feels.
