"I highly recommend this car"
Jay giving his audience the consumer advice they come here for. 👍
Yeah man, I was really on the fence about buying this car. Jay really helped me out.
lol
If I work hard enough this year, I can buy myself 1 2022 Lamborghini Huracán STO Left front wheel.
Unfortunately 99.9% of his viewers cant afford this car
ask him about Ferrari
that guy, for once, is the perfect, concise explainer of every detail, without any blabla or stuttering, right to the point!Bravo, very much appreciated
English as a "second language" too!
Could you add a few more commas to that?
@@atm1058 I used to go to school with a guy who put a full stop between each word hahah. Hard case.
They’ve had plenty other guest who are very good at doing exactly that. Don’t discredit the show just based this guy got you excited
@@BlameItOnTheLagTTV yip agree. I stil,l remember Carmelo , who designed, the '05 Ford, GT, he, was, great.
I love it when we get a real car guy on with Jay. Great explainations and no salesman brochure reading nonsense. Andrea seems like a really top bloke. It doesn't hurt that he turned up with an STO either.
The fact that he knows everything about his product, and answers without any hesitation... just incredible.
@@johncoops6897 it's c almost like that's his job...

which guy had a "salesman brochure reading nonsense" approach on this show?
Baldi just raised the bar for all auto execs who visit Jay. He knows every centimeter of this car.
Try to beat Christian von koenigsegg..
@@01Bouwhuis Yeah but I would definitely expect that when your name is on the door. Good call.
@@TahoeRealmyeah true 😂
Every STO I've seen so far seems to be painted in about 9 different colours: THIS is how it should be painted - and is without doubt the best looking one yet. Utterly divine.
Agreed, finally a stealth configuration, suits it best, there is no need to be flashy on track, that should be left to the street cars..
Want to see one configured in full matte black. 🙂
@@TheRockeyAllen Well I can't disagree with that, seeing as I own a matte black Panigale S! 😉
@@GarryMcGovern the Panigale looks lovely in both Matte Black and Matte White!
the people who configure these poor cars seem like they want all the attention, don't like those kind of mfs
The STO is a piece of art. You can just look at it for days. On top of that having one of the best sounding engines ever made. Hats off to Lamborghini for an incredible achievement
Far from it. It may be striking, but definitely not elegant or beautiful.
There is One near my Home. It looks like a plastic toy and sooo fragile, just ridiculous. Stock huracan way better
i think Ferrari have best sound .
Eh... I wouldn't say it's a piece of art. It's sharp but not beautiful like some older cars are.
I’m a classic car guy,…but that looks so damn good going down the road. Even sitting still. Well done.
Same and agreed
It looks like a lambo, which is always good.
Its a combination of everything that's good about Lamborghini that is a manifestation of "I don't care" in a good way. It has the most insane styling in DECADES from Lamborghini, it may not have a V12 but has a V10 that sounds awesome, it may not be the best performer on track due to having 2 less wheel drive, but who cares? I don't. Its awesome!
for some reason nothing shakes panties off like an old school countach or diablo.
Uhhh . I think that this new lambo could be the best looking new exotic of them all. There’s something about the lines and curves that just work . Even the way the wheels fit the wells . It’s got the most incredible sound in this video as well . It really is a car I think will become a all time favourite. It has “that “ vibe of classic . Amazing
I agree 100%
The one-piece hood makes the front look like it’s off some menacing futuristic fighter jet. Just spectacular.
Minus the huge spoiler
I was thinking the same thing when I saw this car for the first time. They just did so many things right with this car.
Good job, Volkswagen.
Thanks for having friends like Andrea Baldi that stop by from time to time.
Marketing 101. Make friend with someone known and in the knowledge, double your sales.
LOL
Ha! Andrea is 3 years older than me and still has a full head of hair...oh, and a pretty sweet job!! lol
Oh, man. On the video image the glare in the headlights made it look like it had pop-up headlights. I got so excited for a moment there :D
Hate to say this but no it didn't. You were just hoping for them to bring back good ole pop-up s
I was actually thinking how cool it would be if the headlights had a 1-way mirror tint on it to match the body! When the lights are off, it's metallic silver and when it is on, the headlights shine through it. That would be kinda cool and matches the radical futuristic look.
@@KunoMochi You might be onto something there...
@@KunoMochi great idea!!
Cue pop up headlights song by donut media
I love Jay immediately putting it in the most aggressive driving mode🤣
...and I love how he always has to test out the red line! LOL
Driving like it was meant to be driven😉
The moment the guy comes out he digs at Ferrari - "It makes a big difference, just 10 km away from Bologna, but a big cultural change already" - pretty great
Well, a cheap shot.
Kind of a nouveau riche remark.
Nope, Emilia and Romagna are really culturally different
@@SalvatoreCaruso24 Different? Sure, why not?
That's not the point.
His comment would be a cheap shot in any culture -- unfortunately, nouveau riche behaviour comes in all the coulors!
@@albertseabra9226 really... as someone just kms away from SAB (i actually see Lambo's facilities, most of, from my window), there is a huge difference between Emilia and Romagna...
@@kskdtr I believe you are missing the point.
There are French nouveau riche, Spanish, Italian, British, German, etc.
Regardless of the evident Cultural differences, Nouveau Riche' s traits are very similar.
However, as stated in my comment I liked and respected Jay Leno's Guest.
Perhaps I was too harsh -- still the devil is in the details.
Warm Regards,
A.
Glad you enjoyed your time and thrill with this track beauty! Next time, you should drive it on a race track to experience the Huracan STO's optimal performance! 🔥🔥🔥
Jay gets all the cool toys to play with. Gorgeous vehicle...
It looks great but tbh I don’t really like it doesn’t stand out
But still a great look
But the functionality is what’s the main selling point
Must have if you can afford it
@@dominicviner6619 ...."doesn't stand out"??? Sir, are you high?
@@paulcopeland9035 yeah I am but it doesn’t stand out it looks like any other super car imo
Haha he really does.. and takes good care of them too
@@dominicviner6619 Dom I understand u ! It's not my dream car the Lambo Aventedor S 👍 , it is cut somewhat kinda boring for a Lambo , this one is the rare sto so it stands out more than a generic huracan , but it can never be it's big brother the Aventedor or murcielago , Diablo , countoch etc
I'm not a huge fan of hypercars like these, but I have to just love the sound of that V10. Lamborghini nailed the exhaust note. The Espada is my favorite Lambo.
This is not a hypercar. This is an exotic sportscar. It's not even fully in the supercar category.

Baldi was one of the greatest guests ever. Top 10 episode for sure.
Thank you Mr. Leno for sharing these driving videos with us. In the old days, we could only read a magazine and see numbers. Your videos are a huge step forward for us, as we can get close to the experience of being in the car.
Brake fade. We were driving down from Lake Isabella near Fresno in my 1962 Chevy C10 and the brakes just stopped working. Had to drive with the passenger wheels off the road on the dirt to slow down and eventually stopped. Waited fifteen minutes for the brakes to cool off and kept going. My '66 GTO had the same problem. There was enough room to stop at the dragstrip, but the brakes would still fade big time. Those were the days when a manual transmission helped you stop. You didn't depend on the brakes, you downshifted and used the engine's compression to slow the car (or truck) to a stop.
I have a modern truck (an '03 K2500HD) with huge disk brakes all around, ABS, auto trans, PS, AC, and all that. It's always a kick when I get in my '66 Chevy K10 and drive the hills. Large drum brakes all around, but need to downshift to slow and you need to pulse the brake pedal manually to avoid locking up the wheels in an emergency. That's driving. Same with my little Neon ACR with traction control disable. A really fun car to drive.
He is the absolute best.
Jay, I love your passion for cars. Amazing intensity in life and complete engagement. I love seeing yuo in these cars. Your emotions so clearly evident. Great job.
I'm part of a super car club up here in Montreal, QC, Canada and I had the pleasure of driving the Lambo Huracan Performante back in August of 2019 before the pandemic. It was so much fun to drive at WOT (wide open throttle) around a race track for 20 mins until my wrists and forearms hurt! I love it and want to do it again hopefully this summer. Just the perfect sports car, not too big and not too small and so fast. The brakes are amazing too, this car stops as good as it accelerates and handles so nice and predictably around tight corners at high speed. I love watching Jay Leno's Garage as Jay is so knowledgeable and his guests are top in the industry; the icing on the cake is his talented production crew who make his reviews fun to watch with lots of cool close-ups.
Lambos have always been relatively crude cars compared to Prancing Horses, this car changes that.

I agree Mr. Sandoval. My only "beef" with the vid was the length.
Had the pleasure of driving a Huracan before, such a fun experience.
Sounds like Lamborghini has the right guy running the show in the U.S. Cool gent and outstanding car.....
He sounds like he has the passion.. Not a bean counter!
I owned a new 2005 Gallardo. Great car very dependable. That v10 is outstanding. This new Lambo is outstanding. Yes, a corvette is similar but it’s a Chevy. Does not pull on your heart strings. V10’s, v12’s true exotics!

I love the retro intakes and the fact that you can see the vavle covers
This car looks like a piece of art 👍👍👍
New drinking game: drink every time Jay says "Miura".
Now this is an STO!!! Not that unsightly monstrosity that shmee spec'd. I would buy this one in a heartbeat.
Just needs to take out the yellow and it’s beautiful
Yeah Shmees one is bloody ugly that yellow definitely doesn't go with the purple
Hahah exactly! Shmee’s STO looks like as if a 5 year old kiddo chose the colors. F*ck me! The pinnacle of bad taste.. 🤦🏼♂️
Yeah. It's like drawing a mustache on the super models in a magazine. That's what Shmee did when he specd that car.

Hi Jay, love your show, been a huge fan of all things automotive since I was a little kid in the early 60s. I looked hard through all your episodes today, and didn’t find one that covers some or all of the fabulous art and advertising posters on the walls in your garage. Maybe one of these days, or have I missed the episode I’m describing? All the best to you and your staff, great work!
What an insane car. I’m a huge fan of Lamborghini and I absolutely love this thing 🔥🔥 Andrea is a damn legend too! Real enthusiast ✊
I used to LOVE playing with my Lamborghini matchbox car!!!
I like how he explains every detail about the car 🚨🚗 Lamborghini for life 🧬

The STO and SVJ looks great. Two great models by Lamborghini!
Listen to this guy! He's beyond knowledgeable, about his work. Jay tries to trip him up, and Baldi stills cracks a smile!
The Lamborghini STO looks amazing! I would get that same spec if I could! Thank you for sharing Jay!
Liked the way this Guy explained every detail without babling on, just straight to the point. BRAVO! Jay, have You seen The 1961 Corvair that Matt Built from Matt's Off Road Recovery.
Why would Jay leno follow that meathead MORR? and lizzy who never ever wears her seatbelt.
Well, you can't get a more informed person to represent the car! Very entertaining episode, Jay and all your crew! I particularly liked the lighting effect showing off the wheels while the brakes were being discussed. Sweet! As always, great editing, lighting, sound and content. Thanks, y'all! ✌❤🙂🇨🇦
I could LISTEN to that car all day long! Maybe not a race car driver Jay, but I get the feeling you could still outdrive most of your viewers! Great video😎
Amazing Jay! love your series of car videos! I have been watching since i was 3!!!

I may love the Aventador the most, but wow is the STO a beautiful machine. That engine sounds wonderful, and the car looks fantastic
I remember when performante came out and I said “they can’t top this” and this comes out.. probably one of the best looking cars to date
If I could hang out with any celebrity for a day, it would be you Jay. You're a great dude. Love your videos and love your collection.
SAME!
Been waiting for Leno to enjoy this thrill ride! Such a crazy fun track Lamboghini!
I know EVs are the way of the future, but you can't beat the emotional feeling of a great sounding V8, V10, V12.
EVs have a long way to go. Petrol cars will still be sold in 30 years.
@@colemin2 i agree.. they still need fossil fuel and energy/carbon to make and use ev cars 🤣
The moment they revealed this car it was instantly one of favourite cars. If someone handed me a suitcase full of cash I would have a hard time not buying one of these.
Admirable how Jay is able to cherish the past, while still embracing the newer development in aspect of automotive improvement (@13:00). Most older aficionados keep repeating , "they dont build em like they used to."
Huge respect to the true car enthusiast, Mr. Jay Leno.

62 mph in 30 meters. Great brakes! Love this sort of detail. Also funny bec mix of mph and meters.
I’m pretty sure he said 13 meters. My Honda would stop shorter distance than 30 meters.
Jay Lenno is great love the questions he asks about the vehicle and goes over specs briefly inclusive of all the perks the car has.
Quite a ride, It looks fast just sitting still. Thanks for the show.
New Jay Leno video on lunch break..? I think so!! Beautiful car in styling, sound & performance! Lambo for the win ❤️🔥 what an engineers masterpiece?!!
I love the design of the Huracan. It is probably my most favorite Lamborghini of all time. The spider is my most favorite. I prefer the elegance and simplicity of the earlier Huracan models or models without all the fins, and scoops, and large spoiler.
Jay: Your fuel line story reminds me of the time my Dad put his Volkswagen Rabbit engine fire out with a can of Bud Light! LOL
15:50 guy trying yo sell extra seats for Lamborghini, Jay immediately kills the sales. 😂
They showed the exact same shot of the huracan coming down the hill 4 times

Another absolutely iconic dream machine from Lambo. God Bless my fellow Italians. My grand mother would approve.✌️❤️
Love that paint with the black wheels!!! Subtle color but still BEAUTIFUL!!
Incredible paint color! Awesome car!
Might be an unpopular opinion, but today’s Lamborghini has surpassed Ferrari. Ferrari’s exterior and interior designs just seem like a mess. Lamborghini gets it all perfect.
Yes exactly. The only recent ferrari's i like are the 488 and the F12...Ferrari have gone too "soft" , their cars do not seem spectacular, and I hate seeing 100 damn buttons on the steering wheel
Popular opinion 👍
I agree. I feel like Lamborghini has always been more about the design, though, whereas Ferrari has always been more about the brand name. Ferrari has had many different stylings, Lamborghini has kind of stuck with that tried and true wedge shape concept that kind of started with the Countach.
😂. Ferrari is class. Lambo is teenage toy car design.
Lamborghini has always been better. Better styles, better engine, and now better parent company (VW or Fiat).
I LOVE all the detail given on this car and it looks fantastic in this color. WOW! What an amazing machine!
Agreed!
It airbrushes itself!
I was never a fan of Lambo styling before. But I will admit that I like how this car looks. It's simple/clean and doesn't scream Look at Me.
I first saw the new Miura at the 1966 L.A. Auto Show and my friend and I were literally stunned by that amazing creation yet unfortunately Lambos haven't done much for me ever since. But this one? It's fabulous. Congratulations to all the passionate folks at Sant'Agata Bolognese.
You see this car in a proper, grown-up color scheme (not in purple with lime accents, if you know what I mean) and can appreciate the real beauty of the design.
"lime"??
I prefer purple with lime accents

You don't often have the opportunity to take a ride in a Lamborghini with the President of Lamborghini America.
When they make a Hot Wheels edition, I will be first in line.
That colour combination looks amazing, it's perfect.
Thanks for the video Jay. Very cool car. Love the sound.
To me the body style of the Countach is and always will be number 1. When the Centenario came out that one became the closest 2nd place to the Countach that Lamborghini makes. But what the heck happened to the door opening up instead of outwards. I was going to put this Hurican in third but the door opening ruined it for me. Like I said though this is just my dippy little opinion. Thank you Jay for sharing this car and the CEO of Lamborghini America with us this was still a great video. Have fun take care
Only the models with V12's have scissor doors i.e Countach, Diablo, Murcielago, and the Aventador. All the others have conventional doors.

Does anyone know the exact origins of the V10 engine? I know it is an Audi unit, but bearing in mind VW/Audi bought the brand in 1998, I wonder if there is any Lambo influence and original design of this engine. Anyone know? BTW, does anyone know the price, or did I miss that bit? Always possible, I'm the same age as Jay!
