- I bought this 2007 Chevrolet Silverado from the auction with front end and side damage from a trip off road. We will fix all the accident related damage as well as the broken stuff the last owner seems to have neglected over the years.

Without a doubt the only person I would buy a rebuilt car or truck from. Probably put together better than new.
Thanks for the support!
I agree Scott has integrity 👏 .
Whaaaaat ???? You mean you wouldn’t buy one from those two kids in Tennessee?? bRo they do such totally SiCk bUiLdS dUdEeEe !! Every time I watch those 🤡 I think I’ve seen the ultimate cringe…
And Silverado.
@@vehcor you deserve support
Your channel is great and informative.
Every town needs a competent rebuild guy like Scott. Great job, easy flip. (Edit for Joe the grammar nazi haha)
And his gnomes.
And an Emporium or two...
*Every
My frame guy is pretty good, but he's in his 70s...
I worked at Fort Wayne Assembly for 30 years. We called that color ghetto gold. It was a PITA to keep from orange peeling. Nice to see the FWA sticker stayed on all those years.
Nice job rebuilding, Scott.
I have a Fort Wayne regular cab short bed 06 Silverado you guys are Fort Wayne did a hell of a job it's the most Dependable truck I've ever had. I've owned it for 13 years now completely trouble-free for a fuel pump
I have a 2002 Silverado I owned since new, I think it was made in Fort Wayne. It is a damn good truck. 20 years this month
@@jonathangodbout6645 Probably the most dependable trucks ever built
"Upsetting the halogen having peasants" 😂😂😂 You rock Scott, always look forward to Friday afternoon.
Yah, I'm one of those peasants. Not so much I hate LEDs. Just that the reflectors and lenses are so badly designed. OTOH, if I stuck a QI or halogen in a modern headlamp, well, melted mess in minutes. So, LED it is. 😢
The only guy I like to watch rebuild vehicles! Without a doubt the best rebuilder on UA-cam!
This looks like a good channel I just found it today. After seeing some of this guys work I realized some shops I worked in were very half ass
Usual condescending humor! I love it! Keep up the great videos!
Personally I like the longer more inclusive episodes nice save on a pretty clean rig.thanks john from arizona
Another fine job of breathing new life and usefulness into a vehicle that just needed a little TLC!!!
happy fourth of July in advance. man will always be free( if he's self sufficient)
Have a happy fourth as well!
Scott is the true professional, a good pro makes everything look so simple even the most tedious and mundane things, I love watching scott work and his commentary is a joy to listen to, no I’m not a sponsor, greetings from Ireland
Seems like there was more work involved in fixing all the small issues and the maintenance than what there was in the actual damage repair. For an older truck, it came out looking pretty good. Always interesting seeing how you turn a pile of junk into a nice vehicle that the new owner can enjoy for years to come. All the best from Queensland Australia.
That small stuff is why people will trade in a used truck for a new one truck with a $60,000 note. Used dealership will put in the $1000-$3000 to fix all these minor issues and then resell the old truck for $30,000-$40,000 because that's what a used truck seems to cost nowadays.
Glad you saved it, looks like it has a lot of use left in it. I had an 03 and and 06 easier to work on than the newer stuff! Thanks!
Oh! The face again for the jam nut. Just like old times, Scott. Loving it!
This was a satisfying build, all wrapped up in one video. I haven't seen a pickup that bare bones in quite awhile but I think they'll be making a comeback with new pickups costing as much as a house.
That's the stupid thing. For something that's going to get beat on why do they have to be so complicated. Just more stuff to break and throw codes.
@@JamesTK , trucks have been adopted by the wealthy and now are a luxury vehicle...
What a wonderful job. Saved this great piece of American iron for many more years of use. Great vehicle!
Enjoy all your videos Scott! Must say that you make everything look easy, almost like anyone can do it. You are a true craftsman in this field and all of your work is exceptional!!
Scott will repair it Better than new! Can't beat the quality work that he's does!
Only wish your Emporium was filled with 2004-2008 F150s because great step by step videos can really be hit or miss...luckily so far I have always found something manageable.
Fantastic! I’ve got a 02 2500hd that’s in not too bad shape, but it would be cool to have someone like Scott work his magic on it. The gmt800’s are worth saving. I sure don’t want to let mine go.
I really like your show. You do awesome work. I’ve been licensed for over 30 years and I always learn something new from you. That’s what I love about this trade.
VERY VERY COOL & VERY INTRIGGING TO WATCH HERE NOW I SEE WHAT ALL I HAVE TO DO TO GET MY PECKY HEAD LINER DOWN & OUT & RE-DONE........ GREAT JOB ON THE HOLE RIG HERE.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome job Scott! Thanks for sharing the build.
It's kinda funny, Y'all come to Texas to find rust free trucks, we go north to find trucks with interior plastics that haven't completely disintegrated.
I think a 1994-up body style dashboard without cracks sells for more than a running truck does these days. Unless it's a Cummins, then they're all at least 20k.
Trucks like that are in very high demand , not everyone can afford a 60,000 dollar truck , excellent work all the way around Scott that truck looks almost new !
Honesty Very Refreshing and less and less common these days. Kudos Brother.
Thanks for the great video it was really nicely done in a nice concise manner thanks for your good work. All the best from Canada
Once again Scott, Nice build, your skills are second to none.
Hi Scott, thank you for the build. Have a good weekend.
Thanks Scott!
Every used car dealerships should be as thorough as you!
I have a soft spot for the’88-‘98 GM Full size trucks, but having owned several of both, I have to say I love the ‘99-‘07(classic), but especially the ‘03-‘07 “cat-eye” the best! They really do have the world’s easiest-to-change headlights! Don’t even have to adjust them, after re-installation. These trucks just have everything going for them!
Much better format, all in one, love it :-) thank you 🥰
Glad to see Mr. Spotty is back! Keep up the good work.
Great job, Scott. I enjoyed the long video. Keep up the great work 😊👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
Always learn something new watching your vids , thanks 👍
I had to finish watching this morning, because boring build Friday was Saturday night and Sunday morning for me. Hey, I am traveling in Washington state (the good side) currently and my schedule is messed up for watching 😂
From across the pond in the UK, always good to watch you turn round a very good job
That truck and pole shared a kiss? Looks more like they swapped DNA. Thanks again Scott.
I like all of your chevy truck rebuild videos. I own a 02 Chevy 1500 since new.. and it still runs great!
Glad to see MR. Spotty once again !!!
The monotone and hilarious puns kill me. I could watch these all day. Makes me miss being in a shop.
you run a nylon fishing line in those rain visors with double sided tape and you're golden.
As always in depth video I'll watch it later I have staff to do. I did promise my self to watch your video great info!!!!
Good video on how to maintain your own work truck. I feel more confident after watching. seeing that so much is simply held together with clips. No step for a high stepper.
I appreciate the way you crack your self up, keep up the good work 👏
Classic build from a classic rebuilder. It was nice to see Mr Spotty again on the door edge. It’s good to have a properly trained all purpose gnome on site too. See you next week.
Excellent job...your work is better than a factory repair job..amazes me how a insurance company will total a vehicle with minor damage..i see it all the time..see you on the next one Cheers friend 🍺🍺🍺🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Hey! Hello Scott! Happy 4th of July to everybody!
Have a happy 4th as well! 🇺🇸
Thumbs up for mentioning the "mechanic's hibachi" there :o) Been there; done that, lol.
Looks great!! I love your video commentary, I can always count on you to do great videos and make me laugh at the same time. Keep up the great work! 👍
Scott, great bed time viewing.. luv the longer videos. Thanks
Great job as usual Scott. I have said this before. If I lived in the USA I would not be afraid to buy one of your rebuilt trucks. You make them nicer then GM ever did. Have a great long weekend.
Great job! I'm sure it made a nice work truck. Looks nice!
Great job! As always, fun to watch too.
That Gold color reflects heat well , I like it almost as much as white and silver.
You have the perfect balance of sarcasm and smart assory.
I liked this longer running video for this more simple repair.
We’ve got a very similar sense of humour. Brilliant video 👍
I liked how it was all in one video, pretty decent lookin truck!
Another excellent video! Thanks Scott!!!
Great job as always Scott!! Without your sarcasm you videos wouldn't have as good as they are!!!
Glad to see Mr. Spotty made a guest appearance. He looks happy.
Finally back to the reason I subed, fixing trucks
You didn’t come for the filthy Kias? 😂
@@vehcor haha I love all the GM builds, love the humor etc. Great channel man! From way out in California. Keep it up!
Ground wire on hood is to minimize radio interference from the ignition system radiating in to the radio antenna.
Good job, Bill. I hoped someone would mention that fact.
Nice job Scott. Keep ‘em coming.
Nice video again. The result is nice. Keep up the good work 👍
“Old Man Gold” like my 2013 Malibu. It must be code to pass me on the freeway. Nice rebuild!
I use to do that kind of work great to see some one else do that
Very impressed Scott you took your time and patience which turned out extremely well, take care kind regards Mark from billericay in the U.K. 🇬🇧 😃👍☀️
Love your videos Scott and I love love when you do the gmt800 trucks I love these trucks and they are very simple I have a 2001 that one day I want to do up the way I been planning on and every time I see any video of yours it motivates me to keep wanting to do it but when I see your videos including trucks like mine it really makes me want to start the process lol I’m in jersey so you know them rockers got that mod that everyone loves the ones where when you hit hard enough bumps you get the weight reduction to go faster I guess it’s a plus because I’m to broke for go fast parts hahah
Well missed this one, let me know if you find another one, it's for my granddaughter I'll be watching you, I like your work you do a great job.
Well done Scott, and yes, we have a truck in South Central Texas.
Great job from a fellow rebuilder
I Like your sarcasm Scott! Keep it up. Good job on the truck too! Thanks for posting this. I think in '2007' they had changed the body style midway in the year.
Good I did fall a sleep just got off work
So I had to watch over again
Good job all in one seating 😎
Love to see these gmt 800's saved from going to the parts yard...
Your right about the front end being everyones crazy over those hd front ends when the other front end is much nicer, i own an 05 that had about similar damage other than didnt need a hood
The earth wire helps the radio reception on the bonnet great job !!!!
What no ( what´s in the console game?) that´s the best part of the video and the hater´s tears well I loved it I was actually able to venture out and did my headliner over the weekend, I had to use that 3m stuff a bit more expensive thanks for the tutorial. I did my Ford Ranger. Best wishes from Bishop Stortford, U.K. I´ve been following you since ever since was working in Peru South America back in the days of 20k subscribers, I was able to fix my Denali seats thanks to your expertise
1 hour! This is going to take a few days to watch. I’ll need several naps.
Tell me about it. I almost slept through the Friday deadline! 😂
You too eh...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I always play them back at 2x speed. You can still understand everything.
@@m3rdpwr
Yeah, but then your naps are only half as long...
You’re the man,Chris!
Good Job !!! Thanks for sharing !!!
These trucks are the most profitable ones, once they are in good shape and cleanned up. Keep up the good jobs and videos coming. ( your loyal french canadian subscriber)
It looks great, Scott!
You've probably heard this before... But you do great work ‼️‼️‼️‼️love watching your videos 👍👍
Great job Scott!!
That’s really damn nice truck. It’s amazing that it’s from Cleveland.
Tow hooks on the front of a 2wd truck come in handy when said 2wd get's stuck. So much easier to tow it out.
I totally enjoy your videos and was especially excited to see this one was over an hour , great content love your sarcasm , love the clicks and especially missed the scream off the trailer , and I hoping for a click on the oil filter but .........have a great 4th patriot
Love the 03-07 Silverado builds.
Great job as usual Scott
Long video, but still excellent as always. My parents had a 72 Dodge that was totaled out for basically the same front end damage many years ago, and I know that who ever bought it at the auction ended up with a really sweet old truck from the deal.
Superb as always
Great work. Good job.
Awesome job as always!
It makes me happy to see these Chevy gmt800s have new life breathed into them I grew up in one just like it my father still has it it's an old reliable Chevy truck it's never left anyone stranded it to has met a pole once in the snow no big deal 3k later and brand new again
I like your opinions thanks 😊
👍👌👏 Very well done again and as always (video and work). Out of the rust belt = in Texas it might live forever. Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing.
Best regards luck and health to all of you (including the pizza staff). 😁 ;-)
I learn a LOT from your videos.
1. Parts vehicles are cheaper than buying individual parts
2. Everyone has a belt moulding installation tool
3. Cavity wax
4. How to properly do brakes
5. GM sucks at making things
6. GM also hates people. *Looks at headliner harness*
7. Jiffy Lube also loves to make people suffer
Nice job you do great work!
Thankyou for the content.
