UA-cam keeps filtering my comments. Get a 9.5mm or 10mm flex hone and Polish the chamber. Tight chambers are pretty common on nitride 5.56 ak barrels and is not limited to PSA I've seen this issue on pioneer Arms, PSA and AK builder nitride 5.56 barrels.
I love these reviews by real life guys like yourself. You’re doing the lords work. I also purchased a gf3 based on rob ski’s recommendation and it was the biggest piece of garbage. The receiver was out of spec out of the box and wouldn’t accept any surplus metal nor polymer mags. I sent it back to them for warranty and PSA lost my rifle. Had to fight with them to get a refund or replacement, that was until I genuinely asked “Am I supposed to report this to the ATF now since there’s a lost gun out there?”. After that email I was immediately refunded my money. After that GF3 shill review, rob ski has been dead to me. He is at the end of the day promoting his content and online shop to turn a profit. I was shocked when he endorsed the 102 after seeing so many negative initial reviews. Hope it works out for you in the end.

I had the same problem with my 103 I cleaned the firing pen and now it's no problem at all... Shockingly I only had about 200 rounds on mine as well. .
@@theoutdoorobserver8038 yeah unfortunately this one has been cleaned twice after the first malfunction. And the most it’s gone without a malf since is 60rds. I’m really glad yours is working though!
Possible bad headspacing and or rough chamber. Plus an out of spec bolt? Or firing pin? I agree, an AK should not need any cleaning or attention like this.
Great video I appreciate your honesty for sure. I'm setting here changing out parts on my DPMS anvils kinda ironic LoL. No worries those guns have been decent so far they are my cheap AK's anyway range toys. I have some cool expensive go to AK-47 in my collection (Russian, Chinese, Egyptian, Serbian, Bulgarian, Romanian) like most AK guys.
I hate to say it but robski 8 years ago and robski now are almost two different channels. Old videos are still excellent as well as videos where he isn't shilling for PSA Also the fact that KUSA died right before a KR 101 will always make me seethe. I want a good AK 101 but $2.5-3k fot a used rifle seems irresponsible
PSA has gotten to big for their britches. Pre 2020, atleast from my experience with them, they were much more humble and receptive to feedback. They need to dial things back and listen to feedback, especially on these AKs. Bolt and improper assembly have been known issues for years.
@@Ldub556 I’ve been really happy with my KP104. It’s been a solid gun. Seems like KUSA’s main issue was quality control and not quality parts in their firearms. Assuming you get a good one then they’re solid.

Robski is reliable on a lot of things. Like his testings on Century Arms rifles.... I mean most people tend not to hear that you can get a possible lemon... or that he has a sample size of one. Like take the AK 104 I got from PSA which worked right out the box vs my brother's 104 from KUSA
I wouldn’t go that far, palmetto is extremely well known for QC issues in material, machining etc. there’s a good chance he got a good one and is basing his review off of that. However me and quite a few other viewers have had complete lemons.
I am not doubting their ability to f up a gun. But did you try to reshoot the light struck rounds or try them in another gun could just be shit ammo though it don't explain everything
@@Hoodbillyhomestead no worries man. one or two light primer strikes yeah but between 2 ammo types and multiple guns shooting from the same case it’s extremely unlikely to be an ammo related issue. Sounds like it dont like junk ammo
I mean, the separated case was M193. And 4 light primer strikes. This is an AK, junk ammo shouldn’t be a problem.

Garbage russian ammo
