Beautiful shots, Steve. Especially the drive-by ones on the dirt road. Part of me wishes the regular E-Class wagon was still available in the U.S. but I do understand how the All-Terrain might be more appealing. Also, congratulations on 100k subscribers!
I can’t trust your reviews, as I find you are too deep in the pockets of whoever makes ambient lighting 😂. You love that. I would keep it off and never look at that part of the menu again, but it’s good to see you having fun with it. Seriously, I agree that these luxury wagons (MB, BMW, Volvo, and maybe Cadillac) are tough to beat in terms of drive, tech, utility, beauty, and “sleeper” factor. Thanks for taking us along to check this one out!
I’ve owned 3 I usually buy one every couple of years, but I’m holding off until they do the plug in hybrid that’s sold in Europe. I’ll keep the old gas one and give the wife the hybrid
I don't understand why they make the rear seats so cramped for adults. Surely one could sacrifice some of that massive trunk. The best would be to have sliding rear seats so you could choose between legroom or trunk space.
only thing I don't like is the night blindness brought on by all of the back lit screens. with cars like this, trunks should be outlawed (except on 2+2s and other sports cars). hatchbacks and wagons are the only "family" cars we need. pretty snappy for no AMG badge....
Do you miss the old AMG Mercedes wagons you’ve tested before? And which midsized wagon do you prefer, this Mercedes E-Class, Volvo V90, or Audi A6 allroad?
Great question! I certainly do miss the AMG. I haven’t driven one though since 2012. All of those wagons are excellent. This Mercedes and that V90 would be my top two choices.
@stevehammes My XC90 Inscription in Magic Blue and Amber Nappa is still perfect for me and my 2 Giant Schnauzers. But when it's time, I'll be taking a hard look at a V90CC. Anyone remember the XC concept from 2014? 💛 🇸🇪 ✨️ ✨️ ✨️
@@scottleech9571 I know it's a wagon lol I wish it was a smaller wagon. Like the difference between the A4 Audi allroad, and the A6 Audi allroad. Also; The difference between the BMW M3 Touring(wagon), and the M5 Touring(wagon).
Congrats on hitting 100k, Steve! Long overdue and very much deserved. Keep it up!!
Thanks a ton!
Very nice! Congratulations on 100k subs, Steve! It's about dang time.
Thank you! Very excited about this.

Thank you so much! I finally got there! Appreciate all you guys.
Congrats on 100,000 Steve, well-deserved!!
🎉 👏👏👏 🏅
Thanks, Ken! You’re a big part.
Happy to have you back Steve.
I’m glad to be back! And thanks for helping me get above 100,000 subscribers, finally!
Mercedes came out with a stat that their most well off buyers are not G Wagon owners but E Class Wagon owners.. makes sense

If those were those pockets are listening, please deposit money into my account now!😂. I do love my ambient lighting.
Good enough for Carmella Soprano!
Grwat review 👍 as usual
Appreciate that!
I want one. But the hands free driving requires a $1,950 driver assistance package.
That’s free on every Toyota Corolla at less than $25K.
We need more wagons in North America, but affordable ones like a Skoda Superb. Make mine a PHEV in dark green.

pretty ugly tbh
For me, it's not as ugly, as it is too long.
@@Kiss__Kiss its a wagon ! supposed to be long and low Lol

It’s a very beautiful car if it was in sedan form
