These are the BEST freezer meals I’ve seen!!! Practical, tasty and easy to do! It’s really good and I love how you presented it! My family will love all of these.
I was just on the phone with my daughter having a conversation about making freezer crockpot meals for days she doesn’t want to cook after work and your video showed up in my feed. (Proof our phones are listening because I didn’t follow you but I just started.) 😂) I’m sending this video to her for some great ideas. Great ideas. I’ll even use them for myself.
I have a vacuum sealer that I never use. I can't keep it in the kitchen because I've not enough space after every other appliance I have, so I have to bring it in from the garage - which of course I never do! And even if I perchance do bring it in...there's not enough room so I'm balancing the bags off the countertop. Sigh...
I absolutely love your videos, this would definitely be good for me being a single person to split these meals up and cook in a small crockpot . Thank you for the ideas and inspiration ❤
I’m going to try these meals and share some with my daughter. I’ve done the BBQ chicken but I put in some Italian salad dressing, my daughter and daughter in law asked why my BBQ chicken taste better then theirs and I told them I put in Italian dressing, now they do the same 😂
I have kept things for a year and it’s still good. I’m pretty sure that as long as it’s sealed correctly and stays frozen it will be fine. Google says most things are good indefinitely if they stay frozen, but the texture of some things might be affected. Just do the research and do what you feel comfortable with 😁
Hey Tammy! I hope that you are doing well. I thank you for sharing this awesome video! You make everything look so easy. I'm big on eating chicken, so I'll be getting busy making these meals to put in the freezer.❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Great fun! I do this as well, and freeze the bags as flat as I can (put paper towels between the bags). I bought a plastic mail sorter, and then I take my bags and stand them up in sections i.e., chicken, beef, pork etc. Makes "shopping" my freezer easy.
Good morning, Tammy. I think you're set with prep for a long while. It's nice to get home from work and have everything at your fingertips, ready to cook or heat up. 😊
I just found your channel and subscribed. Last week I bought a lot of ziplock bags on sale, during Amazon October Prime Days. Going to binge your videos for prepping freezer meals. Loved this video! 🍂🧡🍂🧡🍂 9:11
I'm excited for these freezer meals as I'm currently on a slow healing journey from a total knee replacement so standing every day cooking meals is just impossible. Physical therapy every other day is quite brutal at this point so I know I'll be out of commission for the next day and that's where these meals will come in handy. I plan to package them up on a weekend, my pain free days, in preparation for the tough weekday therapy days. You have saved me so much money on junk takeout foods. ❤
Been in your shoes 8 yrs ago. Had freezer in fridge filled w frozen meals for a month...cereal...bread..sandwich fillings..fruit & vegetables. Set up table and chair so I could sit to do meal prep...and sit to stir or keep eye on stove. Soak dirty dishes while getting meal nuked or cooked...eat..wash dishes. It takes planning, yet be done. Takes 6 months to get on feet...1 year to be fully recovered. You do not get to do much but physio...rest...eat...sleep. knee and hip in same yr...both great! Persevere. Best wishes on full recovery!
I can't wait to try your Honey garlic, spinach Alfredo, & teriyaki recipes 💖. They all look good but those are 3 I know I love & these crockpot versions sound delicious! For me, crockpot season has finally arrived 😂. You know what I mean. Where I cook all these hardy, comforting, just good down home meals that I can't eat all of because I'm also an empty nester but I can't help myself & cook 'em anyway...lol. I share with my Dad, he picks up a lot of meals here but he's a meat & taters guy so he fusses about some stuff. He eats most of it anyway so whatever🙃🤷♀️🤦♀️😂. Anyway, thanks for some new ones to try again 💖.
Just got to the Teriyaki chicken. I would suggest investing in sesame oil because it has a distinct flavor you can never get from canola! It is a bit like an unsweetened, natural peanut butter. It also takes very little of it to flavor the dish. In a pinch, do the canola and maybe think about adding a bit of peanut butter, too.
You are a genius!! I love your idea of prepping it all (most all ingredients) together before going into the freezer. I freeze my chicken breasts all the time by themselves, and never once has this idea crossed my mind. Thank you so much for sharing! 👏😁
OMG! I'm SO glad I saw this video today. Can't wait to get started on these meal preps. I noticed on just one of the recipes that it said thaw overnight. Would it be the same for all? If not, I need to know how to add to crockpot all frozen together like that.
You can thaw overnight or just dump them in frozen! You may need to adjust the cooking time just a little if you’re cooking from frozen. If you cook from frozen and they froze flat and won’t fit in the crockpot, just throw them in some cold water for about 30 mins and you should be able to get them to fit in there😁
@@AKD822 it’s a great knife! I have a bread knife in the same brand that I love too. I will have to try to find the name because I’d love to have more😁😁
You've earned my respect by trimming your chicken because I do exactly the same thing you do and, BOY, do I get trouble for it! I'm so close to being vegan that any of that "weirdness" on chicken is just intolerable. Don't get me started on thighs and drummies! I'll need to try these but adapt them to the Instant Pot. I gave up my crockpot several years ago because it's just so big. I also need to make some adjustments because I cook for my elderly father and he needs to watch his salt.
I just can’t eat all the chicken yuck lol. Gotta cut it off! You can definitely adjust the salt and seasonings. Some of the seasoning mixes, I have homemade versions of and you could definitely control the salt if you make it yourself😁😁
I just found your channel and I love these recipes! These are actually things that we would eat . Also we are local to Bernard honey as well, so it's nice to meet you neighbor
Oh wow these all look delicious 😋 and I'm actually on my way to Sam's club looks like I'll be adding these meal prep ideas to my list. 😊 Can't decide which one to cook first. ❤😊😊
I just subscribed. I wanted to let you know the Mississippi Chicken Sliders are delicious! You do leave out the AU jus gravy mix with it though. The family devoured it.
Maybe try double bagging them or try a vacuum sealer. Maybe the temp of your freezer has something to do with it? ’ve never had that problem so I’m not sure🙂
For your teriaki chicken, if you don't have sesame oil, then OMIT the oil! Sesame oil is HIGHLY flavored and canola oil has NO flavor! Otherwise, everything looks delicious!
@@lucyalderman422 it isn’t recommended for babies under 1 year to have honey due to the potential for infant botulism. However, some parents do baby led weaning so they could potentially be able to eat chicken…in small bites of course…or have some of the broth from a meal at least, before 1 year old🙂

Putting everything that you need into another storage bag is brilliant!
It just makes it even easier😁😁
Thanks for the tips!!! If you don't have one I would HIGHLY recommend a vacuum sealer, one of the best things I've purchased in my kitchen.
I absolutely agree. I say that to my husband every time I use mine.
I actually have one lol. I just always forget to use it when my brain starts doing these big meal preps🫣😂
@@TalesFromAnEmptyNestI find vaccum sealing difficult with bags that contain so much fluid.

Going to try some of these. Looks good

Can you use frozen chicken but thaw it first before cutting and adding to bags
I wouldn’t thaw and refreeze. You can throw the frozen chicken right in with the rest of the ingredients 😁😁
