I cannot think of a more wonderful and supportive gift than this for an expectant mother, especially one with two other children already! Your sister will no doubt think of you with love and gratitude each time she makes up any of these to feed their family. I've NO idea how you're able to get SO MANY MEALS made in such a short time frame...well, actually that's not entirely true. I kinda do. You worked your butt off putting up all the produce from your garden so that you could just open jars and frozen veg in freezer bags to make up things more quickly! But still, it's AMAZING how many meals and treats you managed to make up in one long morning...absolutely amazing. So loving and supportive of you!
You are a great sister. Not only are you providing her and her family delicious meals, but you are cooking what she asked for. I absolutely love it. ❤️ ❤
I thought the same thing! We all need a Becky in our life! I’m about to have my fourth and trying to learn some meal prepping ideas to make this postpartum easier!
Kitchen tip: You don’t need to get disposable pans. Layer your 9x13 Pyrex pan with foil with overhang, fill it, then freeze. Once solid, lift contents out of Pyrex and wrap in foil and store in freezer. It takes up less room, and when you go to use, unwrap and plop back in pan. Pretty much everyone has one of these pans.
@@mansfieldfamily5389 she has several Pyrex pans she got for this purpose. I don’t have the freezer space Becky does, so I make one for the oven, and double the recipe so I have one for the freezer. Once it freezes, I pop it out of the pan, wrap it and put it back in. Then when I go to cook, take out of the freezer, drop it into the pan to bake. This saves me freezer space.
oh I love this idea!!! i know it won't work for everyone since you'd need a couple of the casserole dishes on hand to freeze in, but they're easy to find at the thrift store!
Her sister will appreciate being able to toss the disposables w/o worrying with washing dishes or emptying dishwasher, tho! She’s incredibly thoughtful for it ❤
@@julievarner8273 oh absolutely, I'm sure she did!!! I think this was more a like, "hey, in case you're wanting to do it for yourself, try XYZ maybe!!" kinda contribution! ❤️ i was just telling my mom about this idea for when my sister has her first kid
@BathtubLovingGuy I believe she did but she also had a food train where people brought her food every day for a week or so. Friends and family helping when they can is wonderful! ❤
Seeing so many homesteader/ family channels, I am SO happy that you do not put your child in the public eye! What you leave out of your videos is every bit as important as what you put in. I have a 13-year-old granddaughter and had to tell her mother, my daughter, #1 My granddaughter's profile picture was WAY too mature for her (then) 10-year-old self. I then backed that up with how many sex offenders lived less than 5 miles from their house. Our children only get ONE childhood, guard it and guide them! If we don't, the wrong people will.
Becky, I love how your not afraid to bake and cook in large quantities, I would feel intimidated by it all. You are the perfect teacher. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Just wanted to say thank you for sharing your kitchen and all the wonderful recipes! I have been watching for a few weeks and just completed my first big batch cooking of freezer meals. I am a widow and found it hard to scale back and just cook for myself, so usually just shared what I made with my daughters or parents or friends so I didn't eat the same thing several days in a row. I was in the habit of cooking a few meals on Saturday and just re-heating throughout the whole week. My oldest daughter works second shift and mentioned it has been hard to cook healthy meals when she is tired after her shift or got busy and forgot to thaw meat before leaving for work. She has issues with her blood pressure and wanted to stop getting fast food or restaurant meals so much due to amount of sodium in them. I decided your meal planning/freezer meals would be the answer for both of us. I printed a ton of recipes from your videos and other websites and put them in a 3 ring binder in sheet protectors (I ended up with 2 of the 3 ring binders full). I also included several of my own tried-and=true recipes just to have everything in the same place. I spent a day shopping at Costco and Aldi and the next day started cooking. It took me 2 days (5 to 6 hours each) because I can't stand for long periods of time due to injuries from car accident years ago. I ended up with 6 different breakfast meals and 14 dinner meals for each of us. I made the lasagna noodles, tortillas, and sub rolls from scratch. Total cost was $290 which we split. I packaged my meals into smaller portions so ended up with more bags/containers than she did, but now I won't have to eat the same thing several days in a row and we both have nutritious meals ready to go that will last us quite awhile. Her husband loved what he ate so far and said we need to do again and they both will help so it goes faster and doesn't flare up my pain levels as much. I am looking forward to that as it will be quality time together too! Thank you for the inspiration! I have been baking since I was 5 and love spending time in the kitchen, but your process helped me kick it up another level. You are a blessing!
I love that they are going to help you make the next batch! I made the pot roast in a jar and gifted them at Christmas. I’ve had requests for more so I’m taking my canner to them so they can help me. I’ve done one family and it was really great to work together and saved so much time.
ps if you wanna save more time making cookies: make a pil/sausage from the completed dough, 2 inch thick. wrap it plastic wrap. Refrigerate for min 30 minutes or freeze. When you need the cookies, cut aprox 0,5-1 inch and bake. Sorry for my very bsd english... Sending love from the Netherlands 😘
I do this too! Then late night, one of gets a craving for dessert I’ll pull it out, cut off some slices and just bake half a dozen cookies and put the rest back. One batch of dough can last for months. You could even pre-scoop them but freeze before baking, like with your biscuits or the little garlic pucks. Then you have little nuggets to pull out for the sheet pan and don’t even need to dirty a knife. Hmmm, I might start doing that. Will take up more space in the freezer though and may not last as long.
I have done this for more than a decade. I wrap in wax paper, though, not plastic wrap. Then I place the roll into a 2-gallon Ziploc bag where there are several other frozen cookie dough rolls. All are labeled, stored in the same big Ziploc bag, and at the ready for baking.)
Just got home from my daughter’s and made her 9 freezer meals for them. Their daughter just 12 y/o had major back surgery so she will be a busy Mama and hope the meals ease some pressure of her day
WOW, that was an incredible, major 2 day meal prep marathon Becky!!! I remember when you had your little one and how many delicious and thoughtful meals you and Josh enjoyed while you were recuperating. How lovely that you can now return the gift❤❤❤
What a sweet and kind gift for your sister! I wish I had someone to do that for me when I had 4 children! You are such a hard worker Becky and I love your videos! Q: could you do some freezer meals for one person? Comfort food for a 73 year old! LOL! ♥
I don't comment a lot, but I often come to this channel to read very kind words towards you and the suscribers. It really enhaces my mood to know or read that people is good.
Just retired (high school teacher). I’ve been cooking a lot for friends and family. Thanks for the new ideas and will start gardening again. Have not done any of this for a very long time. Thank you from Atlanta, Georgia.
You are such a considerate sister. How nice of you to make all of those meals for her and think about providing her with disposable dishes. You're the best!
Becky watching you add the blueberries to the batter, I remember your mom saying to dust the fruit with flour before adding & they won't sink to the bottom.

Congratulations to your sister! I have 3 and each time is different so it’s awesome you have the forethought and giving personality to have her covered ❤
How many of these recipes would my family eat? Almost none. Am I going to cook any of these recipes? Almost certainly not. Did I still just sit through an hour long video. Yes, yes I did. This was oddly relaxing and extremely satisfying.
Such a blessing. All the very best to your sister and the family! My husband loves when he comes in and hears your voice coming through, he says with delight "Becky!". He knows I get inspired to do more meal preps after watching your videos. :)
I love your videos so much. I’m a vegan, so I can’t follow your recipes exactly but you inspire me so much to bulk cook and simply make swaps on recipes that you’re making to fit my dietary preferences. Thanks for everything!
Your sister is blessed to have you! I had a friend from church do this for me when I went through surgery and it was not only sweet but also a big help. She too found out what dishes we liked before hand . This was so thoughtful because it was my favs. I am so late finding this video I know the new boy in the family is a true blessing.
ngl it’s a little depressing that when a woman has given birth, it’s still on her to figure out dinners while she recovers, unless she has an awesome female family member like you around. You even mention how easy it will be for her to throw these things in the crock pot. Just seems like these things could be the husband’s dominion while the wife puts in the labor of gestating, birthing, recovering, and rearing an infant.
@@tanya41277 what do you even mean? How is that more than recovering from surgery and rearing an infant full-time and breast-feeding and then also apparently having to cook lol. The point is that absolutely it would be a lot to do. But one person is recovering from a traumatic physical event. The other person HAS to step up. And work 24 hours a day. Because we expect HER to, right?? After going through LABOR.
@TerraSapien stop it. Women are not BROKEN after childbirth. My husband works on the road. He comes home every 14 days. We've been living like this for 20 years and 3 kids. I had twins and managed. Stop acting like a woman can't or shouldn't move around after childbirth ( I'm also a nurse, it important to get on your feet)
@@TerraSapienoh dear, why is it women think childbirth is soooo traumatic and special these days, it’s what we’re built for. I had 3 kids all while my husband was in the military and often away, he wasn’t even there when I came out of hospital with my first born. Women today are so special 😂
@@ChelleKT1 the more of you that come to tell me stories the more depressed I get about women’s conditioning. EVERYONE deserves help when they’ve gotten out of the hospital, and every partnership should split the labor of rearing and household care. I can’t believe yall actually think it’s a snowflake comment to believe a woman who just gave birth shouldn’t be responsible for making her husband fucking dinner. And yall REALLY wanna perpetuate the idea that that’s normal for younger women to learn from?? They can’t be empowered to demand equity and compassion, and being cared for when their bodies have gone through something extreme??
God bless you for being a caring, kind and loving sister. Your sister is blessed to have you and im sure you are too (to have her). Congratulations to your family 🎉🎉
It makes my heart melt that you did all that for your sister and her family. Your channel shares great food but also inspires love and service to others. ❤
It warms my heart to spend time with you while we both use food as our love language. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy like I have a kindred spirit to spend time with. Nobody else I know likes this kind of stuff😊
I live, mostly, on my own, as my daughter is away at college. These ideas and recipes will help me as I don’t always want to cook a meal as such, when it’s just me. I can batch cook and put in the freezer and take out my single portions as and when I want them. Plus it will also help if my daughter makes an unannounced trip home, and I’ll have meals for her to eat, without worrying. Thankyou so much Becky xx
Next time u do the blueberry muffins, toss the frozen blueberries with some flour to they're well coated. That absorbs some of the moisture so it doesn't need to bake longer and it prevents the batter from turning blue
Thank you for providing such a relaxing, informative, and wonderful place. You’re such a breath of fresh air, and you have such a generous and loving heart to always take care of your loved ones. Your videos have been a much needed comfort in the worst of grief. Thank you so very much for just being you, and allowing us into your home.
With the blueberries muffins, I add some lemon zest and it's amazing that way. Lemon zest and blueberries go well together. Love watching you do these meals.
I’m getting ready to do a huge freezer meal cook as I am about to have twins at the end of December and we have a 3 year old! You give me so much inspiration and it’s incredibly caring for your to have done this for your sister ❤
Hi Becky first time viewer (and now subscriber) here! I just wanted to say what a wonderful sister you are. I lost one of my sisters years ago and just feeling the love you have for your family through cooking was a beautiful thing to stumble across. I wish you and your family health and happiness!
You’re an angel!! Blessssssss your whole family… I’ll try to do this for my family if they get sick… or anything… I’m not a chef but you made things look so easy and you cleaned at the same time AND filmed a gourmet show! You need to be on the Food Network!!
Hello Becky, I love your freezer meal videos. The meals are even more special when you use the majority of the ingredients that you grew in your garden and also preserved them. It is wonderful how your family takes care of each other. I love your channel.
I want to say, you inspired me to start growing and canning. I live in SW Florida and there are a couple of months in the summer where it's WAY too hot to cook, anything! I bought an electric canner, and I love it!! It's getting very warm here, in the 90s by Tuesday, but I'm trying to buy a rotisserie chicken from Sprouts every Monday for a while, for broth and freeze the chicken for salads, etc, over Summer. You taught me to use the slow cooker for broth and I used all of mine before fall last year, during illnesses. We get sick during the tourist seasons and it was so good, I'm sure it helped heal us!! Thanks for helping me can meals for those dreaded summer days.I 'm actually getting beautiful tomatoes and will be planting Everglades Tomatoes this weekend. Thanks again.
What a wonderful gift. This is probably one, if not the best, thing to gift to a postpartum parent. You are a great sister! Hope your sister loved the food and appreciated your kindness.
Ive started making post partum freezer meals for my family and friends since you did the previous batch for your sister. I give tgem a menu to choose from and make double recipes. Its been gratefully received. Thank you for sharing this with us ❤
I’ve been doing this for 20 years! If you are already cooking one batch why not 3. As a professional woman, I hate cooking “on-demand” meals like having meals ready to pop in the oven with minimal clean up. I Love to cook, and being able to do it on the weekends-gives me joy, and a great meal for my family- or Someone who Needs a Meal😊
I’m 69, but this reminds me of about 25 years ago as a newly single parent when I went out and bought a new freezer and did my first freezer meals. It was so much fun. You’re amazing!
What a great gift to your sister! I'm going to start giving the gift of food. I mean everyone eats and it's so nice to have something you can make in a zip if you need a break and don't want to cook. This is great! Glad I found this channel ❤
I wants to say a great big thank you, Becky. I learned from you when I cut onions or peppers to bulk chop and freeze those not needed for the recipes and freeze them . I recently had a fall resulting in both shoulders sprained, injured knee and broken left arm (at the end where it meets the shoulder so can’t be cast. Have sling and have to immobilize for two weeks) So glad I had those chopped veggies in my freezer. I am left hand dominant so struggling to do every day task. Freezer meals are saving my hide too. Thank you
Everyone needs a sister like you! I had someone put in for a meal train when I had my last daughter and it was such a blessing! Thanks for sharing with us!

What a beautiful way to show love for a family! So thoughtful even in the small details are always so appreciated! Sending so much love and prayers to you and your family ❤❤
Your parents raised a very special family. I’m laughing while thinking about how I made my sister one, just one fat turkey patty today for her lunch. And I was so tired from cooking afterwards. 😂
I love that you did this for your Sister!! I just wanted to give a little tip, toss your blueberries in a little flour and the berries won't so to speak "bleed" in your batter. I love your videos!!
I haven't seen this video yet; I've been busy browsing your website! Josh built it, right? Great job. I was a web designer/content developer before I retired, so I know a competently built site when I see one. I just love the flower motif on your new guide. The depth of info on the overall site is excellent as well. But I would expect that level of quality from the two of you! What a great resource!
❤❤❤ sharing prepepped meals as gifts is something very foreign to me Id never heard of it before but after watching you for many years I did this for my Daughter in law when she had her first bub. Thank you Becky. 😊 ❤
I commented earlier…but I wanted to chime in again saying what an amazing sister you are and how much your sister will totally enjoy pulling each and everyone of these meals, muffins or cookies out of her fridge/freezer. You rock Becky!
Becky you are such a awesome woman, wife, mother, sister and daughter. And a awesome friend for showing us so much as you do how to fill our freezers, pantry, encourage us to grow veggies thank you hon
You have inspired me. I did a double batch of strawberry jam, double batch of triple berry jam and strawberry lemonade concentrate. I am planning my freezer meal cooking day now. I have made your parmesan chicken twice. It is so good. I have a Blackstone. I love it. Krusteaz has the best store brought mix. You should buy paper plates and forks in bulk since you do a lot of meals for people. They never go bad.
I stumbled onto your channel today and I'm so impressed on how much you can do in one day, You have inspired me to go back to big meal prepping! Thank you!
Your videos have reminded me about freezer meals ahead. I started about a month ago in that direction. Today I enjoyed the benefits. I pulled a meal for the crock pot while I made a double batch of oatmeal raisin choc chip cookie dough. i made some cookies and froze most in pan ready form. I portioned out my Greek yoghurt in "pucks" for individual servings and froze them. Then I cleaned a kitchen drawer and vacuumed! That was it for me! I was happy to have my frozen meal bail me out! My goal is to start doing more freezer meals. I only have the stamina for a few hours on my feet these days. But it does help. Thanks for your time and sharing. 😊💛🐸💚🐸😎
You're an angel, Becky. I wish I had thought to do this for my sister for her last few pregnancies but the idea just never crossed my mind. Those muffins look delicious!
I live in Southern California. I rinse my jar by transferring the water from one jar to another, to save water. I know where you live water isn’t as precious. ❤
I do that when I remember to but where I live no shortage. We have a friend who lives in Ridgecrest California and the things he tells us are terrible. He talks about fines and restrictions. It sounds awful.
@shelliparker6528 usually Becky adds water to jar to rinse and then dumps said water into the recipe. She is very conservative even with paper goods, please give grace on occasion when she doesn’t completely do everything perfect. Water is precious no matter where you live.. and if things are that bad in Cali then thank your politicians that you voted in. Have a great day!

You are a great sister , I am sure she is thankful for you doing that for her and her family
@BathtubLovingGuy I believe she did but she also had a food train where people brought her food every day for a week or so. Friends and family helping when they can is wonderful! ❤
Yes, she did.❤
What a loving, kind, and generous sister you are!
Aloha hugs 🤗 I and sharing this with my post on my channel gove Glory and Glory to Good in the Higest
Absolutely agree. Bexkys channel is fabulous meals gardening and no private life !
Absolutely agree as well.
If you KNOW, you KNOW!
Ugh
That is a wonderful idea, Thanks.
I do that, makes things easier
❤ Great idea!
I just got home from the hospital (minor outpatient surgery) and so happy to have my first cup of coffee @1540 hrs with a new Becky video!
Healing vibes your way :)
When you said you were looking for your scissors, I remembered seeing them in the top rack of your dishwasher haha!
Just got home from my daughter’s and made her 9 freezer meals for them. Their daughter just 12 y/o had major back surgery so she will be a busy Mama and hope the meals ease some pressure of her day
Bless their hearts. I had major spinal surgery at 12yo, then wore a body cast for a year. My mother was amazing.
Prayers for your granddaughters recovery 🙏❤️🙏
I hope your granddaughter is on the mend and has a smooth recovery. Sending best wishes from Australua. ❤
WOW, that was an incredible, major 2 day meal prep marathon Becky!!! I remember when you had your little one and how many delicious and thoughtful meals you and Josh enjoyed while you were recuperating. How lovely that you can now return the gift❤❤❤
I bet your granddaughter had scoliosis surgery. I had the surgery as an old lady, 32. The surgery has better success at 12.
I need you in my life!!! This would be an incredible business: a freezer full of tasty, healthy homecooked meals for a month. Chef's kiss.
What a sweet and kind gift for your sister! I wish I had someone to do that for me when I had 4 children! You are such a hard worker Becky and I love your videos!
Q: could you do some freezer meals for one person? Comfort food for a 73 year old! LOL! ♥
What an amazing Mom, sister, daughter, wife and friend you are!!! Such a Blessing you are.
Adding carrots to red sauce is GENIUS!! Thanks for that tip.
Always! Still needs some regular sugar.
You're the sweetest sister ever! I wish I had a sister like you!
I wish I had a sister or a friend like you! Such a blessing.... but as a one-woman band... this is going to help me a ton! Thanks!!
Becky watching you add the blueberries to the batter, I remember your mom saying to dust the fruit with flour before adding & they won't sink to the bottom.
Always!
Always and I kept thinking the scissors are in the dishwasher 😅
Becky, What a joy you are for your sister. My family never bothers. Your sister is so loved and fortunate. I sure wish I had you. ❤
Your whole family should know how fortunate you are to have each other. Thanks, Becky, for another comforting and grounding video!
I found your channel about 2 weeks ago at 75 I really enjoy new recipes you are great and I have really really enjoyed it watching you I will follow you as long as I'm here God bless you Grandma Judy from Louisiana
Exactly maybe i just make muffins other recipes nobody eat in my home but i am watching 😂
Such a blessing. All the very best to your sister and the family! My husband loves when he comes in and hears your voice coming through, he says with delight "Becky!". He knows I get inspired to do more meal preps after watching your videos. :)
showing people you love them EFFICIENTLY
Or he might be working 12 hour days with 2 hour commutes. So judgemental.
Add lemon zest to your blueberry batter oh my gosh, it elevates it to another level.
Frankly, I don’t like lemon myself in this kind of recipe so it’s a flavor thing for individuals
What a delightful show! To the point, efficient and common sense. What a sweet sister you are. The best part is it was all made with love.
Naturally, please do pass on all our love and well wishes to the x3 Mommy!!!
What a blessing you are for your sister and her family. And a special Aunt taking your nieces requests for yummy baked goods! 😊❤
Next time u do the blueberry muffins, toss the frozen blueberries with some flour to they're well coated. That absorbs some of the moisture so it doesn't need to bake longer and it prevents the batter from turning blue
this! it also makes them spread more evenly in the batter
What an amazing sister you are. How lucky is your sister. All garden and canned ingredients omg. That's awesome.
What a blessing you are! How thoughtful, generous, and selfless of you to make all of this food for your sister and her family.
My heart aches for my sister who has passed, but the love you show your sisters and sisters in law gives me comfort. 💚🌻
With the blueberries muffins, I add some lemon zest and it's amazing that way. Lemon zest and blueberries go well together. Love watching you do these meals.
Congratulations to your sister and her family on their newest addition! What a wonderful sister you are to help make her homecoming easier!!❤
I’m getting ready to do a huge freezer meal cook as I am about to have twins at the end of December and we have a 3 year old! You give me so much inspiration and it’s incredibly caring for your to have done this for your sister ❤
Aww! Bless your heart ❤️💘💙🦋💚💜❤️🍑🤎🌹🧡🩵💗💛🤍🌌!! Congratulations, Lucky you!!!!
You are a great sister! Wow! You have a lovely family.
That's a beautiful thing she's doing for her sisters family.
Thanks again.
omg you're such an angel to do that for your sister. ESP for the whole family! wow
WHAT A SWEET SISTER YOU ARE shes so bleesed to have you
Man, you’re not messing around girl! How lucky to have a sister like you ❤
What a wonderful gift.
Thank you for sharing this with us ❤
Becky you are amazing person making your sister freezer meals for her family what a blessing you are .
I’ve been doing this for 20 years! If you are already cooking one batch why not 3. As a professional woman, I hate cooking “on-demand” meals like having meals ready to pop in the oven with minimal clean up. I Love to cook, and being able to do it on the weekends-gives me joy, and a great meal for my family- or
Someone who
Needs a
Meal😊
I wish I had a caring sister like you! Many best wishes to you! Nina
I’m 69, but this reminds me of about 25 years ago as a newly single parent when I went out and bought a new freezer and did my first freezer meals. It was so much fun.
You’re amazing!
You are a sweet sister and what a blessing to live close to your to her! Enjoyed watching your video!
You can also add the carrots when cooking black beans. Just blend it with some of the bean water. It helps with the acidity. My mom taught me that!
Have sling and have to immobilize for two weeks)
So glad I had those chopped veggies in my freezer. I am left hand dominant so struggling to do every day task.
Freezer meals are saving my hide too. Thank you
My sister just told me about you. Wish I saw your videos when she was pregnant! My niece is trying and I am so doing this for her ❤
What a wonderful sister you are! Congratulations to your sister and her family!
Your sister is lucky that you take the time and resources to prepare these meals for her. The meals look yummy!
Congratulations to your sister and her family, welcoming their new boy!!
Everyone needs a sister like you! I had someone put in for a meal train when I had my last daughter and it was such a blessing! Thanks for sharing with us!
What a wonderful gift of cooking for your sister. Such a blessing for them. Awesome meals and they all look delicious. May Haveto try a few myself. Thank you for sharing. Congratulations on welcoming your new nephew.
You are so amazing! I love your joy even when tired. Congratulations to your sister and family!!
Very impressive in so many ways. I hope your sister is as grateful as she should be for this kind of family support. Amazing really.
Not only learning from you but also just watching and resting. Perfect job, and your voice it’s really calming. Love from Portugal 🇵🇹
Bless this woman and her giving heart
❤❤❤ sharing prepepped meals as gifts is something very foreign to me Id never heard of it before but after watching you for many years I did this for my Daughter in law when she had her first bub. Thank you Becky. 😊 ❤
Sharing the love now 🙌
I commented earlier…but I wanted to chime in again saying what an amazing sister you are and how much your sister will totally enjoy pulling each and everyone of these meals, muffins or cookies out of her fridge/freezer.
Everyone should be aware and care in this world community! Great suggestion submitted in a kind way.
@@Jenniferscrazylifewhat a nasty reply .she was not even unkind .

Please tell your sister congratulations!!
Hope all is doing well! God, bless this child all the days of his life!! 🙏💙
I was just making a list for a month worth freezer food. So nice watch you doing big prepare also❤ now adding muffins! Perfect idea for my kiddos!
What a wonderful sister you are! ❤ I started watching, de-stressed, took a nap, scrolled back and finished watching your video. You are absolutely delightful! God blessed your husband with a good wife and your sister with a wonderful sibling! 🙌
