      I noticed your B complex has trimethylglycine. Is that and/or other glycinate minerals problematic for highly oxalate sensitive people?
      Also, if ascorbate is not tolerated because of oxalate, is it just best to get vitamin C from food, or can a different kind of C supplement be safe?

Took me 3yrs to have oxalate dumping, because I went no oxalate, no dairy for 6mos...and it wasn't fun, although beautiful once on the other side. You just saved my life. I wonder if anyone consumes spinach, vegetables, and fruits more than I do. Yet unfortunately, I've not been going to work for several months now due to some serious gut and stomach issues, including malabsorption and indigestion. Plus being 24hrs bloated and constipated with stomach distension. I've done several blood tests, as well as endoscopy and colonoscopy. L glutamine, collagen, bone broth, etc. yet none made any difference.
    You're too much Sir, I'm almost in tears. You're just talking to me like a Prophet, Sir. I'm now deficient and have been taking multivitamins 3:34. I just can't stop watching this video.

    I have had fibromyalgia, low thyroid, chronic fatigue and ibs for 30 years. I am almost 60 now. I cut out dairy and gluten, I had already been a vegetarian since I was 19, but my weight kept going up and the pain kept getting worse. I ended up 17 stone and hardly able to move. No one would believe i was eating healthy, loads of nuts, beans, veg, at every meal. I then ended up getting terrible low back pain and spasms under my right ribs. I was a single parent and holding a job down it was horrific. I was then told that i had gallstones and had to get my gallbladder out. 6 months before I got the gallbladder out. I said that I wanted to try and save my gallbladder so i absolutely went on no process, low fat whole food diet and kept to this after gallbladder was removed. The pain was just getting worse and worse. I came across the stuff about oxalate. I thought back about how sick i had got when i went on green smooths, how i had been in agony after having rhubarb, same with beets and spinach. I have been cutting out high oxalates. I have started eating fish but I am struggling with meat. I am making flour out of organic porridge and making flatbread out of it. Also sometimes pancakes. I will see how I go, i hope and pray i have found a way out of this.

    This was a solid presentation and I’m happy you included the supplements in the video. But I wish that doctors would acknowledge that oxalates can be the DRIVER of gut disturbance. My mother juiced carrots and celery for us daily from the tender age of 3. Add some whole wheat and peanut butter in childhood and your accumulating oxalate at an immense rate. I never had an antibiotic until I was in my 40’s and I never took so much as an aspirin until I was in my 20’s. Oxalates also CAUSE gut dysbiosis. Everyone needs to take this seriously.

    I bought into the plant based diet crap our own government guidelines push. Mostly vegetarian for years, through my 50s and early 60s. If I got aches, I assumed it was aging, and a job that was wearing on my body.
    Back pain did lead me to discover a large 2+ cm kidney stone. But no one warned me about oxalates. I got off the green spinach smoothies with peanut butter, but didn't realize ALL the oxalates containing foods til recently.
    My coincidental saving grace was moving to Florida 9 years ago. Being surrounded by lemon and lime trees, I started drinking constant citrus water. The stone has since broken in 2 and regularly fragments, causing painful episodes as they pass. This is due to taking up a very active sport in my retirement. I hope that it dissolves completely and goes away.
    I may still eat my salads, but only lettuces and arugula with a few odd chopped veggies.

      Boiling reduces oxalate content by about 50%. Steaming reduces it be less than that, because there is less contact with the cooking water. Still plenty of oxalate left to cause you trouble if you lack the oxalate-metabolizing gut bacteria that chomp it up before you can absorb it. But if you tolerate them, then lucky for you!

      Sally K Norton does great job explaining. And her book Toxic Superfoods explains how to wean self off of oxalates & now has a companion book out listing whether foods are low, medium, high, or very high oxalates.
      Helps know how to get rid of highest oxalate s first, & need to take both calcium & magnesium since oxalates bind with both & steal them out of our cells.includes most nuts & seeds, grains, even sweet potatoes!
      I never encountered this guy before, in my deep dive into oxalates & c
      Carnivore @ same time (thankfully); "accidentally" in last 3 months; to do things well & safely & hopefully without oxalate dumping & severe symptoms.
      And here the establishment (Big Food) has been pushing alternative flours & milks (oat, almond, etc) & are all high in oxalates! Going to get their $$ one way or to he other. On to them & their dietary lies for last 30-50 years!! Worse, they knew about this in 1930's!!!

There may be pesticide free wheat grown in the U.S. but I have not found any. Once again it is the dusiicabe food industry in this country that is causing more than widspread obesity. Just remember please - you younger people, that in the 50’s when I was growing up there was no problem eating wheat. The big problem tha began back then was the widespread use of way too much sugar and now it is horrifying.

    Very compact and practical lecture. Thank You!
    First You have to get Your body, Your digestion, and Your immune system working again well.
    To make it easy, get a list of all vitamins and minerals. Go through each and think about if You get enough. If not, adapt Your diet or supplement. You have to fix any deficiency. Tip: If you are in a sick state, Your body and immune system might use up vitamin D3 very quickly and You need more than typically recommended to maintain health (Combine D3 with K2 and Magnesium).
    Opposite of deficiency: what are You having to much? How much carbs? Ohhh sugar You have to quit my friend. At least until You are stable (1-3) Month. Because sugar is feeding certain bacteria in You and in Your gut (yeasts, candida and if You don’t quit sugar and high carb foods, then You are working for the enemy. Are You having too much plant foods. Normal guts can digest plant foods with lectins better. Try a mainly carnivore diet for some time as a treatment. Learn how to cook (ground beef into pan, 5-10 Minutes dinner ready). Are You maybe heaving a lot of mold in the air, or a toxic environment. Maybe psychologically stressed constantly. Jesus Christ: If You pray (to God now instead of continue to fight with Your own power) then shut Your door (face) and God will hear You in Your quiet place. The tears that You weep inside drip directly in front of his mercy thrown. Stop fighting. People that are not looking for advice don’t want Your advice too, no matter how good You mean and how much You love them. God loves us so much but many people don’t care, know better, try their own ways, diets, treatments. Pray to God first to lead You to his wisdom and his teachers about health and about everything. He will gladly hear You.

    I react terribly to sunflower, flax and pumpkin seeds too and can't eat animal products or olive oil or other oils either as they give me swollen painful lymph nodes. But olive oil is the worst! Nightshade plants too. Antibiotics and mercury toxicity are no joke and seriously lethal!!!!

      I used to have the same problems. I used a lot of mimosa pudica to kill parasites. Parasites come out when the know food is coming into your stomach. Mimosa pudica smothers them & you poop them out. I started out very slowly, & by the 3rd week alot of dead parasites were in the toilet.

    You mentioned NSAIDS, but did not discuss details (unless you did later on, in which case, sorry). I did a quick search and learned something I thought I'd quickly share. If you want to avoid oxalates from anti inflammatory pills (NSAIDS) then avoid the triple A's. Advil, Aspirin, Aleve. Aspirin is ibuprofen and Aleve is naproxen but triple A is easy to remember. Cherrio!

    • @robbiewood3956
      @robbiewood3956 Рік тому

      I’m a little confused from your comment. You said by avoiding the AAA as you avoid oxalates from NSAIDs and then immediately after that you said that Aleve is naproxen and therefore safer where as in the sentence before you included it in the AAA’s.

    • @tomiadventures
      @tomiadventures Рік тому

      @@robbiewood3956 I think I see your confusion, sort of. Aspirin and Aleve are just brand names. The actual name of the compounds are ibuprofen and naproxen. Example: Peruvian blow is actually just cocaine.

    I've had a full ileostomy, and am unable to absorb any fats, including fat-soluble vitamin supplements. I order a water-soluble version (ADEKs) of the vitamins. I do continue to eat animal protein, even though it usually causes a lot of pain, exiting the stoma. The bile can no longer connect with the fat. I've learned what I can and cannot eat over the years. I leave the leafy greens alone, anyway, because their vitamin K aids in blood clotting, which I must avoid at all costs, due to my atherosclerosis. Instead I take a Micellized K2D3, along with Nattokinase gel tabs, low-dose aspirin, 20mg Pravastatin, and lots of other supplements. I'm open to your advice, especially about electrolytes, as entire colon was removed, so I have to stay hydrated. Thank you for sharing your knowledge on UA-cam. I'm doing pretty good for 79+ years. At this stage, and with 3 significant ailments, I'm not going to deny myself too many edible pleasures, like candy and cookies.😊😋

    I'm a healthcare worker and I have celiac disease. I've been on an AIP diet for 2 years now. The masks that I'm being forced to wear (I prefer cotton) irritates my skin. I know my body is reacting to the material that the mask is made from. I think it might be made from some form of corn...sounds crazy but I always get a particular type of break-out when I accidentally ingest corn. And this type of break-out is what I'm getting whenever I wear this mask. Is there a specific type of mask that you recommend for people with autoimmune diseases that are safer for our skin. THe skin is the first line of defense. I hate knowing that my body is reacting to something that I have to wear every day for hours on end. I can't imagine what it's doing to my immune system which is already on overdrive. :/ Boss doesn't really care. Says 'it's just a rash." Hasn't got a clue! Very frustrated!

    I am from Canada. I used to eat almonds by the bowls. I am not diabetic, no chronic problems, eat home cooked meals, yet had Stage 2 colon cancer. Fortunately I need not do chemo. I discovered I have massive oxalate dumping from my eyelids when I went carnivore for two months. I always suffer from stingy dry eyes. After 2-3 weeks dumping, my dry eyes was much relieved. As I could not deal with the pain during my trip, I start to eat some nuts to stop the oxalate dumping. After my trip I will go back to carnivore and continue the painful dumping process. Short term pain for long term gain. I believe my colon cancer and dry eyes are a result of massive almond and nuts consumption. Any suggestions to help alleviate oxalate dumping causing swollen and itchy eyelids?
