    My husband and I are BOTH self employed. He has a construction business, I own a cleaning service. We do not pay for insurance. We pay out of pocket as we go. This is much cheaper than making monthly payments. We are in pretty good health, it's a priority. I go to Dr more than he does (menopause issues) but they give me a cash discount and accept payments. Also just found a great naturopath and he is helping me stay away from regular MD as much as possible, haha! I see my chiropractor at least 1x a month and massage therapy 1x a month. We both work very physical jobs, both almost 60. No meds. Lot's of supplements! 😀

    I worked as a pharmacy technician for over 20 years and witnessed how the 3 illnesses, diabetes, hbp and cholesterol was increased. We sold so much of these drugs with no one ever being cured. I , now am using these drugs. But I am educating myself and I have been changing how and what I eat because I know that our foods have changed as well. II had a hard time regulating my bp and my dr wanted to put me on a diuretic but I refused bc I didn't retain any water. I don't take my cholesterol med anymore, it is just too dangerous. Thank you for educating me as well.

      The sad thing is even though I fasted and was ready to have a blood draw after telling my doctor I would like to get my cholesterol lower with diet and lifestyle, she refused to take it when I went back for my six month check up. She said when I asked her if she was drawing blood that I had fasted that I don’t want to take her prescription so she will not take my blood draw because it would only be for my personal information. How Ben do I know that I am as low as I should be! Well I went to a mobile van and had it taken they’re not with my insurance coverage, but cash out of my pocket and it had dropped 42 points and that’s after doing what I know I should tell her at Cetera. My only choice is to find a new doctor or nurse practitioner or whatever so that my blood pressure is not raised every time I go there. It can be done naturally I know that for a fact because I did it. I wish you the best

      My sister also rejected her cholesterol med. You really need to watch Barbara O'Neill on UA-cam. Look at the Heart healthy video all the way through. I have followed her instructions after I stopped my cholesterol med. I told my cardiologist and he asked me why I stopped. I told him that it blocks the fat that my brain needs and I was having brain fog. He didn't say a word. I feel great except that I am experiencing pain in my muscles from the side effect of my atrovastatin.

    My blood pressure taken at home over the last 14 days varies from 127/76 to 103/70 with 14 day average of 116/75. But the last time my doctor took it just recently he got 167/88. I therefore beleive it is dangerous to visit the doctor as it raises stress levels off the charts. Much of the stress is because I never get to discuss what I want his opininon on, just have to listern to him banging on about statins and such which with good blood pressure and A1c of 82, on a lion diet, continuiously in ketosis, I definitely do not need. Unfortunately to get various tests done although I pay for them myself, I have to argue them past my doctor to get them done. I conclude doctors are o.k. to fix a trauma like a broken leg but are a hindrance to health.

My son & wife ( both elitist scientists) have banned me from seeing my granddaughter (10 yrs old-who i haven't seen for almost 4 yrs now) because i disagreed with them on a health issue re the "jabs." This affected my health at the start. Since i am a born again Christian, i asked the Lord to help me with my burden. He has.

    Thank you for sharing your real life experience at 100:50 about how studies can be poorly designed or even designed purposely to fail in order to support an agenda rather than to find out true information. That is so important to understand when we listen to the news, or in reading stories about conclusions from studies, etc. It is so important for us to find sources of information that we can trust. Thank you for being a great source for information we can trust, and for including the time for questions and answers too. My journey to fix my health began when I found you in UA-cam videos explaining how the thyroid works, and about the triangle of health, and they made me want to know more. That was well before "Pick Dr. Osborne's Brain" and even before your book, No Grain, No Pain. You are a wealth of valuable knowledge and a fantastic educator. Thank you.

If you rest or even nap all day before your doctor's appoint, and eat nothing but garlic butter rice with a whole head of garlic to each cup (dry) of rice your blood pressure will be lower, probably normal. Hi Dr. Osbourne. I am commenting on your discussion of health insurance about 1 hour 9 minutes in. I am listening on the replay. I have not had health insurance since Obama Care took away my catastrophic plan which was affordable and suited my needs (I am self employed). I pay for my health on the front end by taking care of my health with good food, clean water and a happy healthy lifestyle. Yes. I have paid penalties for not having it. Those penalties, while not fair are still a lot less than the premium costs for a plan that I can't use and only covers maybe 60% of any costs. Maybe you have to be insured because you have employees and I don't know ow what tax laws are in Texas (I am in California). Yah.... our sick-care system is despicable.

      Your doctor would tend to believe that the meds lowered the blood pressure which is false, so if the BP dropped to a safe level, were you concerned about stopping the meds and the blood pressure going back up?

      How is your BP now ?

    I’m in this boat! Thanks for great info. When I take my bp at home, resting, at end of day, the lower number is 70-63! In his office a bit higher. Very low dose pill. I’ve cut in half for 2-3 weeks and cut my all day strong tea drinking, cut Claritin to the correct dose, only when I need (or Flonase), cut Sudafed. Was way overdosing allergy meds so I would not sneeze at work! Also added vitamins and supplements. My sodium bloodwork is low and potassium high. Thanks to the drugs. I take magnesium and extra sodium where I can, so I don’t cramp. The brain fog is like jello. Time to get off that pill. I’m tired of feeling worse to make the NIH rich. I eat a super clean organic diet. Gluten free. Cut the leftover homemade organic holiday cookies in March. Super low carb and only clean fats. And I’ve eaten like this for years. I’m always a bit higher in dr office.

      You have what's known in the medical field as "white coat syndrome" in regards to the increase in your BP (blood pressure) when you are in your dr's office. Try taking a few deep breaths and letting the air out slowly while tightening your muscles and then relaxing the muscles in your arms, hands, etc. Bring some soothing music, etc. Learn biofeedback, imagine being at a place you like being at, to try to decrease your BP when you're at the dr's office. Otherwise, good luck! From a retired RN

      I’ll try this again
      For whatever strange reason when I try breathing exercises it can make it worse. I’ll work on it. Maybe I’ll stop stressing so much. I used to be much better but after all the bru-haha for the past few years and a really bad experience with an eye doctor, I hate dealing with anything medical related. (And my grandfather and great grandfather were in medicine).
      I’m off all meds for bp, which were low. I took my bp for a more than a month and was consistently low, so my dr was ok with stopping the meds.
      I only have a problem now if I take Advil or too many allergy pills. So the breathing I’ll work on. Thanks!

    Thank you for this invaluable information. I have extremely low vitamin D I just learned... I requested the test.... I was curious as to why my blood pressure kept fluctuating when I basically eat right. Eating right means zero junk food, limited meats or high sodium foods.
    My other issue is that my BP is always sky high (anxiety related) when i visit the dr. I ask them to please do not take my bp when i immediately walk in. Of course, they recommend blood pressure meds. My average bp is 128/79
    I think I am going to start taking a sedative when before i arrive at the physician's office. 😂

    So good to hear you explaining the importance of Sodium! Besides for holding on to water towards maintaining adequate BP, Na is also needed for absorbtion of Vit C - including in the gut and brain, and (as was rightfully pointed out): Heart disease/events and strokes could be a form of Scurvy.
    Interesting how sweeteners like Stevia and Erytritol for example also function as duiretics; thereby lowering BP, and leading to electrolyte imbalances, which is probably why some complain of dizziness and heart palpitations as side-effects.

    Great video! I found out earlier this year that my vitamin and mineral deficiencies are likely the root of my ongoing health problems (15+ years). Thanks to blood pressure medicines and reflux medicine my doctor made me SICKER! I've kicked the reflux medicine, blood pressure medicine will be next!

    • @marywolfe6598
      @marywolfe6598 2 роки тому +3

      How did you kick the reflex medicines?

    • @therealjenniferrr
      @therealjenniferrr 2 роки тому +6

      @@marywolfe6598 several of my vitamins I started taking this year have digestive enzymes, I'm taking Dr. Berg's gallbladder formula (I do NOT have a GB) which has many things in it, and also ACV gummies. I also recently started a better probiotic. So I think a combination of those things helped. I've heard zinc carnosine helps too, but I haven't had to add that. Reflux medicines are terrible for you. I believe they are a necessary short term evil in some circumstances, but many doctors will just leave you on them forever. Also note, it depends on what the cause of your reflux is. If it's just a lack of acid (counter intuitive, but it's a real thing) it's easy to fix. If you have a deeper problem you may want to work with a holistic doctor to fix it.

      Same here, I've suffered from energy issues for more than 25years. Doctor put me on Ritalin which helped for a few years but then I hit my 40's and nothing worked. Desperate with no health insurance I found Dr Osborne and learned about the nutrient deficiencies associated with gallbladder removal and antidepressants and his list of nutrients contributing to anemia and I was able to figure out what my doctors should have told me many years ago. I had my gallbladder removed when I was 13. It's absolutely disgusting that a doctor can just remove organs and tell you that you just don't have any use for them when clearly you do and the initial problem could have been eliminated by diet change with no risk to your quality of life. I'm so thankful to have found Dr Osborne.

    • @therealjenniferrr
      @therealjenniferrr 2 роки тому +9

      @@nolies1 Yeeesss! I also lost my gallbladder thanks to doctor's incompetency and have iron deficiency without anemia. Also had vitamin D deficiency, but while not optimal yet, is higher than probably most American's levels now sadly. My chronic fatigue and pain have improved greatly this year with my own treatment, who needs a doctor who wants to throw pills at you to make you sicker?! I've wasted soooo much money in the healthcare system and received no HEALTH, it's disgusting.

    The HBP med the doc put me on caused edema added to my other ailments. And with each go round the edema signals became worse and at one point my knees looked like hippo legs. He refused to switch the med, or even stop it, but added the diuretic to the list, making 3 prescriptions when he knows I am trying to get off all big pharma garbage. So I slowly took the dose down and then I quit taking it altogether. That is when I was finally getting results on the edema. As long as my body was ingesting even a small portion of med, the edema got worse and stayed around longer. It appeared to run in cycles. The other med he had me on was making the Raynaud's go off on steroids. I am still taking the water pills until the edema is cleared up, and then I am done with big pharma crap. I am convinced my doc gets paid from Big Pharma. Hence every time one walks into his office, ya walk out with another drug prescription. I am almost 70 and I am learning how to keep my BP on the lower side. Thanks for all the info.

      I agree with you about Drs only write prescriptions. They do nothing about healing us nutritionally. I’m trying to stop my pressure pills. She had me on amlodipine & water pills. I had awful leg spasms for years & read it could be water pills. She finally took me off water pills & my spasms left.
      I’m trying to lower BP naturally but it’s still high

    Nice video. I have high blood pressure and have read a lot on the subject. One thing I want to ask you is about the research indicating that a person's dominant arm is also up to 15 points +/-. Harvard found this to be true with something like 1900 individuals. I mentioned it to my doctor and he just looked at me. I started checking my blood pressure in both arms and have found that my right arm is almost always lower. (I am left handed). The doctor has me on 100mg Losartan, 5 mg Amlodipine, 25 mg Hydrochlorithiazide. It holds the pressure to 125-130. I am 60 years old and my family has a history of HBP. It is the focus of my doctor whose focus has been to get it down.

    I was put on BP meds which helped initially
    I started reading Dr Osborne book on no pain and grain 6 weeks ago , I implemented B complex into my diet , My BP lowered naturally .
    Informed GP advice to continue with meds 😅😅You know why I'm laughing 😂 I continue naturally doing what is best for me as I'm gluten sensitive and have reactivated gastritis that can be really pain 😢.
    Anyway the positive here is Looking after your own anatomy is your personal responsibility not no one else.We are grateful for the meds and advice however listen to your body ,I can only highly praise DR Osborne as if it wasn't for this presentation and learning this I would still be indulging poison.
    I listen to all DR Osborne presentations.❤
    I am in control of my body.

    I have, like anyone who's well read on the subject, a healthy aversion to chemical medication.
    If one has the understanding of the reality of the need for self discipline, that in this case, let food be your medicine, & even then, research all you need to know, regards to healthy farming practises & try to stay with organic for sound reasons.
    Also wash fruit & veges to do the best one can to rid the chemicals that invariably enter skin, of these foods, when one is not sure of the farming procedures.
