I wish Detroit and Windsor would work together. Like building up both skyline of both cities. Like New Jersey and New York City, how both of those cities are across the river from each other. That would be awesome for both cities, Detroit and Windsor!

That would be cool for sure, but a little harder working between Countries than it is states.

@@EdButlerDetroit I would only move to Detroit if it makes an extensive subway or light rail system. The city is trash without one. What's the point living in a condo or high rise if there is no walkability? It's the same deal in cities like Las Vegas or Phoenix out west. They have a building but nothing to walk to. Until then, it is either NYC, Boston, Chicago, or DC.

@@punchkicker3837 Yea, I guess Detroits not for you then, as that’s not happening, and honestly not needed. But different strokes for different folks as I’d never consider living in NYC, DC or NJ.
There’s tons of walkability in our downtown area just like those other cities. All cities weren’t made to be the same.

@@EdButlerDetroit Detroit had a large light rail system until the 1950s and it was torn down by the automakers just like in Los Angeles . Those highways that rip neighborhoods in Detroit are why the crime rate is high aside from the lost jobs. If Detroit at minimum had a light rail like Salt Lake City or elevated subways like Chicago people would move in. So Detroit shouldn't be complaining about why its poor and why it has high pollution when it doesn't build in a useful healthy way. Detroit has that QLine. EXPAND it or else no one will move in there.

@@punchkicker3837 I’m really confused on how mass transit fixes crime, and why no one would move here without it. There are much bigger fish to fry than expanding the QLine which Detroiters didn’t ask for, and don’t use.

Of these selections … if condo living was my thing DEFINITELY BRUSH PARK would be MY CHOICE ! Sounds like with only 4 sales the CORNER doesn’t seem to be too popular , Unless I got it wrong and these were just RE-sales … I still wish Cass & YORK had made it off the drawing board …. The excuse being by the time construction was to begin the profit margin supposedly dropped considerably.. I’ve wondered if that was the REAL STORY or just an excuse.. seems like I also heard they wanted all units sold but only 1/2 were ?

I agree with you Brush Park is my favorite area for downtown living. Yep the corner sold out, the 4 were just re sales.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE .. thats 1/2 the reason I would not want to live in this type of unit .. I prefer MY OWN HOUSE where I control what and when something gets either fixed or upgraded plus both homes I have OWNED were PAID OFF EARLY and I have to deal with a summer and winter taxes other than utilities and of course upkeep ( at MY DISCRETION ) and do t have to deal with others and there living habits ….. HOME OWNERSHIP REPRESENTS MORE FREEDOM than other types of living situations

That may be a little outside my lane, but my recommendation like my of my friend who went to Wayne state is, find a nice rental with a group of friends and split the rent.
