    Hi, just read the back and forth between you and the other guy.
    You paid for it with money you worked for and understandably feel let down, so you are perfectly entitled to your view.
    It's a shame an argument started between you and the previous person who posted.
    Gentlemen! Try to remember these are ultimately just toys, and there's no point in falling out over such trivial things.
    Life really is way too short to stress over this stuff.
    Peace to all and hand shakes and hugs all around.

    One thing that helped me when I was first starting out in helis was realizing that the BNF on the blade helis does not stand for ‘bind and fly’, in reality it’s more so ‘bind and fix’. 😂

    Here's the thing . . . , not all "Pilots?" have your skill level which is why I used the Question Mark. The majority of pilots who will be purchasing Blade Helis most likely are not SAB Customers also, if you get my point. They won't require high performance servos that an experienced Pilot would use on a SAB Heli. The Servos it comes with are used to help keep the price of the Heli Down and also provide a respectable amount of performance for the Heli as well.

      You are right. I agree with that point of view. When this video was made, I had recently reached a new advanced level and was flying more aggressively. It is true that a high percentage of the Blade owners won’t fly this way. The thing I complained about on this video is the fact that even though the servo is made to keep cost down during the original purchase; when it is time to replace it, Spektrum wants us to pay high end servo pricing. The aluminum servos on this video are of much better quality and specs at 40% more affordable than the original Spektrum servos. I want to thank you for watching my videos and taking the time to comment. Please subscribe.

    I appreciate you're honesty. I feel kind of bad now in a way, as I'm still a novice, and learned on an OMP M1 and M2, and it sounds like I might've been spoiled flying these as my learning helis, and I'm in for disappointment with these blades. Since I'm still a novice, I haven't really developed a flying "Style" yet. I went on somewhat of a buying spree, and purchased a few Blade helis. I have a brand new 360 still sitting in the box, and from everything I've read, the first thing you want to do is to CHANGE out the servos. Many people have stated this. Seems everyone is using the KST DS215MG v3.0's for cyclic, and a Torq CL0306T for the rudder.
    One Blade I'm about fly, is the 230S V2, NOT the SMART version. It was used, but as people lie, I was told, "Only 2 flights". Well when it arrived, the tail blade was missing. Oh well. Going over the pre-flight, everything seems fine, but when I hooked up the battery to check blade alignment it was way off, which I'm sure is to be expected. I'm going to align the blades within the next few days, as I have to work. I'm hoping the 230, which everyone seems to say is a good blade heli, lives up to that. Again, thank you for the info on the 360. I've subbed to your channel. Wish me luck with the 230S V2.

    HI HF, Just sub'd. I'm just getting started in RC helis. About 2 years of practice. Doing my first kit build right now. Lots to learn. I have the F-360 (on 6s, not the cheesy 3s they offer now) and I appreciate your opinion. After owning 4 different Blade brand helis, and lots of NuBe crashes, I too have spent thousands on replacement parts. I actually decided to learn to repair the gears in them. There is only one gear that usually fails, yet they sell you the whole set...Still cheaper than the whole servo. I think I'll take your advice and stop buying from them. Enjoyed watching your skills. I hope to work up to that level soon. Thanks!

    Wow i'm very surprised to hear such negative feedback towards this heli. Recently i saw few videos from different authors and all of them were giving highly positive feedback and were suggesting to get this heli, they also said it is so stable and 'locked in'. Now i'm not sure to whom believe :)

    • @AnDr1LLox
      @AnDr1LLox  Рік тому

      The helicopter is not bad and it is true that it is locked in. It is a great performer. The problem with this heli is that the servos eventually give up in flight causing more damages. The problem is that I have only had this problem with the servos they include in their kits. The servos that replaced the Spektrum ones on this video are over 11 years old from another kit and were flown hard for those 11 years and are still performing great. I’m not ok with electronics failing in the air on a machine so dangerous as a helicopter. Also please keep in mind that the way I fly is hard on the servos and most people that buy this model do not push the servos to their limit as I might have done.

      @@AnDr1LLox oh i see, thanks for the details, yes i'm not going to smack hard 3d, i'm still learning and looking for a next heli machine because i got bored of my mini heli (XK K100 with 100mm blades). I rather prefer some soft floaty flight with some 3d figures still, so maybe servos would not fail that fast :) i'm rather worried that in some other video i saw how some 'slight' crash caused shaft or grips bending, so i wonder what your damage usually was in crashes of this heli?

    • @AnDr1LLox
      @AnDr1LLox  Рік тому +1

      @@cutefoxRC usually when the Fusion 360 crashes, the blades break, the servo links bend forcing the servo arm, the main gear strips, the head links to the grips also bend or fly off. The main shaft is pretty resilient and not always bends as long as you are fast on the throttle hold switch.

    I've got a question that I hope you can enlighten me on. It's not about the 360 but the 480 with the fc6250 flb unit. I had a tail rotor servo drift and someone told me to go into my NX8 and go to foward programming and choose ---- calibrate!!!!!
    Well that caused the flybarless unit to be stuck in the failsafe mode. Or at least that what the flashing light indicates.
    Do you know what to do to get it unstuck or back to flying ready? I wish now I didn't do the calibration but hopefully I didn't kill the unit. Help a brother out.

    • @AnDr1LLox
      @AnDr1LLox  Рік тому

      The unit is fine and is not bad. It is kind of hard to explain but I will do my best. When you calibrate the transmitter, you will have to reprogram the FBL unit. What the FBL was used to read as the normal values are now a different input due to the transmitter now sending a variation of what it was before. Essentially, the FBL unit may be reading an input you are not making. It is because the calibration has changed what the FBL thought was 0 value. What I mean is that before the calibration, the FBL unit thought the value before the calibration was zero even though it really wasn’t. After the calibration, the FBL unit now thinks there is a small input being made all the time while the sticks are at rest at 0 value. I will share a video with you that will fix this problem. Please follow it with detail. As far as the tail servo, with this FBL unit you have to make sure it is at 0 pitch mechanically when the FBL is powered up. If you go to forward programming and go to tail adjust there will be a setting that allows you to adjust this. Tail Sub trim is the name of it and it allows for adjustment on the tail in an electronic way in order to get around the mechanical setup. I always prefer mechanical accuracy but it is much harder to do.

      @@AnDr1LLox Thankyou very much for the reply very informative. I am going to watch the video now.
      I didn't cailbrate the TX I calibrated the flybarless unit in foward programming. I understand that calibrating the transmitter would cause that effect.
      The tail servo would actually drift to the inside and be at full tilt. I did go into sub trim and adjust that but I thought that was not the correct way so someone suggested to calibrate the flb. Man did that piss me off.
      I guess I can just reprogram the unit if it lets me do a factory reset, I havent done that yet, so you think I should?

      Learn on the sim, the nano CPS, Mcps BL, and the 230s. Crash the ultra micros over grass, rarely any damage. The 230 is very stable and docile for its size.
      Unfortunately I hear the Infusion 180 is awful…. Loose head, gains way off, tail prop ect…
      Fusion 180 is now awesome thanks to Helifreak here sharing his tuning. Really nice, you could learn smack 3d on it…. That’s once you fix the gains of course.
      The 360 Fusion Smart is my largest heli so far.

So my question is, on your Fusion 360 what brand and size of servo did you use to replace the 3 cyclic's with? And do you have to measure the size to get the holes to line up for mounting? The tail servo seems fine for now but I'm not taking any chances. I don't really want to buy 3 new servo's just to find they can't be mounted.
