I've only painted one squad of cultists, so I'm not experienced much, but I'm proud of the work I do :). Even if it's not up to Golden Demon quality, it's up to mine! Everyone has different styles. I think it's boring to try and impersonate something else lol
Interesting but I think it needs more work. The first ork just looks a mess. Less dramatic colour changes between each layer would help and possibly other techniques like feathering and blending on top. More dilution so stipling with glazes would have worked better as well.
Stipple glazing is a very slow process, that why golden demon winners spend 100-200 hours per piece. Honestly doesn’t seem worth the time investment. This is more achievable process though, and a nice take on it. Great job as always.
thank you very much, while a bit more achievable id still apply this only to characters and not a full army. But its good to sometimes takea bit more time and try new things
"plantec" they are kolensky brushes my local hobby shop sells, they are not that good sincei have to change them every couple months but they get the job done
7 minutes to show all that in such an understandable format, love it! Cheers man.
thank you, glad it was enjoyable
Another great video! I learned more in 7 minutes than I have in 7 hours on other channels!
thank you mark, I appreciate it
Truly the best painting tutorials on youtube
thank you very much, not there yet but trying to improve with each video
