As a doctor seeing some of these videos really make me smile but also teach me that some people are genuinely scared of a simple iv. The process hardly feels like anything. An epidural is not given in an iv! It's injected in the spine. Congratulations on little baby Malz! ❤❤
But you are given antibiotics via an IV first before getting the spinal EPI 🥰

I am exactly like malz, very scared of needles and syringes. But 2020 gave me a gift of 4th stage of cancer and had to take about 350 injections and multiple surgeries throughout the treatment. Despite crying every time they pricked, i survived. But even after going through all the needles in life today i am equally scared of a needle! This phobia never fades away😢

You might not be the first mom to give birth, but it is your first time giving birth and being a mom. I just hope you are doing well. And whatever you have posted even your fears is going to help a lot of first time mothers.
1. First of all Congratulations Malvika and Akhil on the birth of your Angel!!!
2. The red veiny stretchmarks will disappear in a few weeks but the other ones will stay for a long time considering your stomach got really really stretched out…frankly i loved the marks on my tummy from my delivery but to each his own
3. Your photoshoot was beautiful as hell..u looked like a GODDESS …and at the end of the day your body your baby your channel….no one needs to know why u did this and how u did it…u did the shoot that you wanted so You Go Girl!!!!
4. Motherhood is beautiful but very very tough too rightly said…irrespective of whether you are a mother or not no one should comment on someone’s journey because they haven’t lived your life…i had a flawless pregnancy…no morning sickness no nothing…mother in law pampering me more than my husband…friends supporting me uncontrollably but i still felt like it was an out of body experience the entire time
5. People need to understand that just because someone complains about their pregnancy doesn’t mean that they don’t value their pregnancy or baby….its so surprising in this day and age too people …educated people…educated women judge each other so much
6. Last point…im surprised you haven’t seen videos or read books talking about the not so cute parts of pregnancy, post pregnancy, post partum depression

Being a mom to 4 month old i can tell you’ll whatever mals is telling about pregnancy is absolutely TRUE. I’ve been through it all but never heard anyone on the internet talk about it and it feels so good to see her being so raw and real.

Everything has 2 sides but world is interested in listening only good sides….lot of women go through much of physical and mental struggles during pregnancy, sadly no one is bothered about her pains..they just ask if baby is fine….but why no one thinks that mother should be fine first then only baby will be fine….there are lot of mental and physical issues postpartum also

With you Mals! And all pregnancies are different, like our periods are different for each woman. I literally die during my period and my friend sleep through it and barely feel anything. It’s high time people understand that all bodies are different, all experiences are different. Shouldn’t compare or judge ever.
The needle is just for pricking the vein so we know we're surely in the vein when we see the flow of blood into the cannula.Once we know we're in, we take the needle out and slide the plastic bit in and tape the area so it stays secure for the whole duration. The cold sensation you feel is the saline going through which is used to 'flush' the cannula and double checking that the cannula is working . I put cannulas everyday for a living! I'm afraid of needles too and it actually calms the person down when I say that to them!. Kudos to you for going through with it!!!! 😅😅😅

I think those stretch marks are there to remind us how powerful our bodies are.. like we have tattoos with meaning, those are there to tell that we brought a life into the world... i, too, did not have any stretch marks on my belly till the 8th month, but then, boom, my whole belly and my thighs had so many....

How are you not anxious of the needles when you get a tattoo? And only anxious when it's for medical reasons life-saving reasonss???
Stop judging. Its a completely different scenario, not to mention you're psychologically in a different mental state too. When you're getting an injection or any other medical procedure in general, you're in a weak state, either physically or emotionally. No one visits the hospital for fun. Your body is already sick and being in a hospital can create an atmosphere of anxiousness and helplessness. So its totally normal to feel anxious and scared. Not to mention the off chance of things going wrong are wayyy higher in a hospital than a tattoo parlour which adds to the stress. Also a lot of people have Trypanophobia.
And can you not see that she is pregnant and going through some pretty heavy shit in her personal life? I am surprised she isn't more anxious and emotional which would be totally normal given the situation.
Yeah she only fears for medical related stuff, it's becz she had a childhood hospital related truama..malvika talked abt this a lot of time

I delivered my second baby it's a girl ❤ even though it's second time I was so anxious I got panic attacks in operation theatre while pushing ..my heart rate skip to 148 ...i give up on pushing ..but my dr. Is an angel she makes me calm my thoughts n another minute my doll her pink feets are just divine to see her
I think it’s great that you are telling everyone what every step has been like for you. However, don’t forget, (as if you could), that your personal situation will have affected you immensely. For example, being suddenly separated would most definitely affect your mental state. How could it not? You have been fantastic in the way you have dealt with everything, but someone else would not necessarily have had the same mental situations to deal with. I wish you all the luck in the world for a supremely happy and healthy life with your child - as I have had, (mostly)!!

Not necessarily you bleed for 6 weeks. I bled for 70days straight and then I got my periods 🤣🤣🤣 also I got my periods even though I was breastfeeding unlike what everyone says that if you’re breastfeeding you won’t get periods 🙈

Hey mals i know its been a very tough journey for you but in want to tell you that i had a breast abscess and after the surgery i had to go for a dressing and they used to put gauze in my breast they used to pull that gauze and put new gauze. And this happened for one month life is not easy i know. You are a gem of a person you deserve all the love good health always.

While I was watching that floral picture of yours, my husband was laying next to me. We r young and having our first baby in a couple of months. He said wow, it is so beautiful, and kissed my forehead, knowing in a month or 2 I would look the same. (I don't have that prominent belly, I'm in my second trimester yet).
