Day 13 of being a C-section mom and I feel you, Malz! This world has glamourised motherhood, especially the first few weeks; no one - absolutely NO ONE tells the truth of it. Our mothers and aunties just laugh and say - ‘Of course, it takes a lot to be a mother. What were you thinking?’ And that’s it. Why would no one tell us the raw unfiltered account of the massive transition women go through during not just the four trimesters but through the first few months/years of motherhood? They’d advice you on what to eat or what not to but they stay tight lipped when it comes to talking of the pain, the frustration and the helplessness that comes with motherhood. I love my baby, I would give my life for my munchkin and I feel tonnes of gratitude for being blessed with this adorable kid, but that doesn’t undermine the emotional downfall I’m going through. I want to vent out but I’ve observed that people, especially women, try to escape from this topic. The trauma is buried, but never forgotten. Keep strong, Malz! Love from one new mom to another ❤
So beautifully put! I am a C section mom too of a 7 month old and I totally completely understand what you are saying. This is exactly what I thought…why no one spoke about it? Why no one warned us of it?
@@mishaalzk6033 no but she had a vaginal birth with a small operation though…where anal section has to be cut to bring out the baby. Therefore the pain in sitting
My complete healing took 45 days...sitting and bf was followed by an episode of crying in pain. I am so happy you are sharing this..people just refuse to understand that every body is different.
There are women who do this without help..There are women who return to a full time job in 3 months...There are women who have an older child and go through all this while taking care of another kid. Mothers are a tough bunch! You're doing a fabulous job! Hang in there Mals..it gets better!❤
Thank you Mals for showing an uncensored version of being a mother !! We need to be aware if not ready for it.. nothing is too much information for me, had these details been shared to us by mothers, we would not feel weird to feel our feelings .. God bless your healing ❤️🩹
Currently at day 9 of healing after giving birth to my baby boy. And I can feel literally everything you're going through. I used to wait for your pregnancy recommendations now I find peace through familiarity of our situation ❤ We can do this girl, InshaAllah (god willing)
Something which you might find find very soothing for your stitches, is to sit in a bath of as warm as you like water, in which you have dissolved a handful of salt. I honestly thought that it would sting, but no such thing - it’s really lovely! Please try this for yourself. I had to have 21 stitches after the birth of my first baby, and the salt water helped no end.
please share your birth video.. don't just remove it because of some shallow-minded people.. there are many of your OGs who want to know every bit.. you are doing a great job.. u are helping so many women out there.. more power to you ❤
Heyy Malvika ❤ can’t even begin to tell you how much I envy your strength during your pregnancy & now postpartum. I am also a healing mom , having a 4.5months old daughter, living with my husband alone in a different country where it’s not very common to have househelp. I had a induced labor which eventually led to emergency c section. It was tough. So I know how you are feeling. Despite having a Caesarean section I was up & about on my feet within 2weeks, not bragging at all, but my husband gave me so much strength mentally that I felt that I can do everything. So why am I telling this?? Just to let you know you are stronger than you can even imagine and this phase will be gone in two months. When she will have her feeding ,napping time in a routine. Hang in there. You both will be fine. ❤Give Abby a lot of love from me❤❤
Hey same story. I had an induced labour too and after 17 hours they did an emergency c section…I thought I would never be able to stand and walk straight but it all goes well. Takes time but happens

Hey Malvika. I had a baby 7months ago and I am 30 too. I totally relate to what you said about recovery and the pain uff…but trust me it gets all better 3months onwards, it gets wonderful actually so don’t lose strength. Be strong
By watching this I’ve noticed there are two types of moms, I appreciate the fact that she’s so honest and sharing everything with us but when i watched dipika’s vlogs she’s also delivered a baby boy now and she explains everything so happily and so smoothly again everyone’s pains threshold will different but again i think that also have to do with because her partner is not there with her which can make a huge difference. All the love and support to mals, congratulations for your baby girl you are handling everything very well 🤍
also what is this obsession with women having to show "happy" all the time. They are human beings with a range of emotions... they are allowed to express how they feel without being judged for it.
Please dont compare rhat cheapika with her experience. Having birthed 2 kids, this is what exactly one goes through. You body is in shit pain. I have never seen a a new mom juat laughing off loudly just after delivery like that cheapika shows off. Even a small sneeze hurts whethers its C or normal . Even walking or sitting hurts. This is reality. Thats the reason mothers are told to rest off and relax. Stop idealizing people like deepika . They are just setting up false narratives
Oh god... All this is information I just didn't know about pregnancy... God everyone just tells you the rosy bits but what happens in reality... I never knew. And these videos almost make you cry about the enormous stuff women go through. Thanks for letting us know all these Mals. A big hug to you. Want you to know that this is truly a great service to us...
I'm 45 and I watch alot of a program in UK called one born every minute I watched all episodes and when I saw what woman have to go through that put me of for life I'm 45 still I couldn't do it as I know I wouldn't be able to cope so I feel for you as my pain threshold bad I cry over paper cut I take my hat of to you ur being solider as I feel for you . ❤❤❤
In this world women are not about to be crib or be sad or anything bad. They are always suppose to be full of happiness and all the good things. And now that you are talking about how a woman actually feels, people are finding difficulty in adjusting that. A woman can do anything but we also go through pains and its ok to talk about. Please don't stop your birth journey for us. We really get to know things people don't talk about.
Mals heard you ! Can understand and get everything that you have gone thru …. I suggest Avent breast pump which is a UK brand and is available in India. I used it for my babies and they don’t hurt and the make is so comfortable and sturdy. Try it and see. It’s on the expensive side but worth it. I can assure you in this. Love you ❤
I can’t thank you enough mals for sharing all the real side, thank you for making this world a better place, sending only love and blessings your way!!🤍🥰

I applaud you for the honest account of what motherhood is all about. You have given women insight into the very critical details that all women should be aware of since no one talks about them. Its all behind doors discussion or private discussion with doctors. My prayers and best wishes are with you and your little one. ♥️ Stay strong and as they say...This too shall pass.🤗

Use a feeding pillow or any pillow to bring your baby up to ur breasts. U should not hunch down to feed and that will cause back pain. Little things but makes a huge difference. And pads...use soft pads like stayfree if u don't have much bleeding, not whisper, whisper will make u sore.
Damn... That looks really tough and unbearable. But, It's great to know that you're such a strong person who's not giving up and just holding on & Keeping up... Stay Positive... Loads of Love & Blessings to you & Cute little Abby...

I can understand all your pain as I went through the same when I delivered my baby in2020. But trust me you will forget this painful time as your baby grow. ❤
I was gone through same, its difficult to get up but for us have only ourself so should stand up ,all the best wishes for your upcoming successful life
Hi Malz!... really feel your pain as a mom of a 1.5 year old. Just keep going going it definitely gets better once the baby grows and your body heals, just enjoy every moment as it will never come back :) But do remeber to take some time off for yourself, its okay to take help sometimes when its getting too much. Looking back I just cherish every sleepless night and every bodyache that I went through for my baby and would've have it any other way. Also, just a suggestion to try out the haka for expressing milk, it just make my life so easy, as it collects milk on other breast while you are feeding. Happy Motherhood!..it great to watch your journey ❤
Not sure if anyone has already recommended this but get a pumping bra which will allow you to express without holding the bottle/ pump and you’ll be hands free. Another suggestion is a pump called madela which are really good, again not fully handsfree as the bottle is connected to the small device but still very good. The only advice I was given by my doula/ lactation consultant was not to pump for the first 6 weeks as it takes that long for your milk supply to settle whilst your body is getting used to your babies needs. Lastly I’d just say well done on videoing your experience and putting it out there especially being an Indian woman as it’s such a hush hush topic even though majority women go through it but no one talks about it so openly!! Kuddos and you’re doing great!! xxx
Every time I watch ur postpartum vdos it reminds me of my postpartum days my God it’s really painful and really takes a lot of mental strength and patience to go through this phase and ur dealing with it rht now ,my prayers for you and just have lots and lots of nutrition food high on crabs and protein as ur losing it everytime you feed ❤you got it 🎉keep going ❤
Same!! I am actually thinking of watching her videos before my next delivery (whenever that is.. in sha allah) so that I can be mentally prepared as well as buy essentials, because I have totally forgotten about the things I wish I had purchased
Hey malz, more power to you, fyi in bengal i remember there is a custom called "Atoor ghor" where postpartum the mom and the baby stays alone for 1 month, and the mom is being provided with everything she needs while she provides for the baby. For one whole month mom gets time to heal and spend time with baby. I wonder how these customs vanished slowly in times, they were there for a reason.
Hahaha even i cant swallow meds for the love of my life!! Even i had a vaginal delivery 4 months back… flashbacks listening to your story. Also soon you can start breastfeeding in the sidelying position. It helps a lot with the backpain and also gives your body rest. You dont have to get up and feed her through the night. You can just feed her lying down.
you are an angel💌 Whenever i watch your videos, i feel like I KNOW YOU. Even though, i personally do not. But you feel very familiar for my heart🥺💗. I HOPE YOU GET WELL SOON WITH THE PAIN. iloveyou
Well honestly after hearing your story.. I thank God that I had a C section cos of the amount of pain you describing with virginal birth is crazy ... I don't think I would have been able to cope that ... though the c section bit has its own recovery stage but externally it is slightly faster . But internally you are healing for over 6 months. So .. I definitely support c section than Vaginal now after knowing your birth story.. I also wanted Vaginal birth but destiny had its own picture so I had a c section . My only problem was breast feeding / pumping etc etc .... I totally connect with you are all milky ... but this phase is just for like 3 months when you are in pain etc then you get used to it eventually .. so stay strong . You are stronger than me for sure ❤
It will be okay in a few days. These days will not seem to be so bad when you will play with your daughter after a few months. Take your own sweet time. It is okay to feel bad. Life will become better with each day. ❤
You’re doing AMAZING Mama♥️ To be able to come here and share such raw details in itself is 🤌🤌🤌 We love you and baby Abby💖 Looking forward to see so much more of you both😇
Using a pump friendly bra is a game changer.. it has a hole through which you can put the suction cups in and it holds them in place.. which makes your hands free.. one other way is to make a small hole in your regular bra to hold the cups in place and pump while wearing the bra.. trust me it is a game changer
Not easy delivering a baby & also taking care of the baby it all become very stressful & hard. You are lucky that you have your mother’s help. I am sure give yourself some time & you will be fine mals.😊👍
You are strong mals & you will survive it all. I am so happy that the video was so much in detail & about problems that women face during, after delivery & also the health issues you also went through.😀👌
After a c-section, I was kind of handicapped for about 1.5 months, and I felt really bad for depending upon others. Now, after 3 months, I have started to do little things at home... and I quite like it
I was told to pump after i feed my son.. he was premie.. so i have to feed him every two hours and then pump.. but it really helped me.. i was in london and there they recommend madela.. which was really good…
I can feel every word. Just gone through everything few month back whether it’s stitches pain, delivery pain, recovery pain, postpartum depression, breastfeeding struggle, breastmilk pumps issue, jaundice to baby, excitement of seeing your baby and a lot 😍 every single word i can feel. More n more power to every new mum 🫶🏻
YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL AND LET NO BODY CONVINCE YOU OTHERWISE. I’m so proud of you Malz! Beyond words appreciate you💋 Thanks for being the elder sister some of us never had, SOOOO MUCH MORE POWER TO YOU ❤️
Yay! Malz❤ When will you talk about your birthing process? I'm a little curious. And it's totally ok if you're planning to keep it private bub. ❤️ Take care gurrrl!!✨
Once breastfeeding gets easier, it's kind of addictive... And it's easy food on the go for the baby! Trust me you are going to do it for more than a year 😂! I can already tell
Sit on a firm surface instead of using a donut pillow. Pillow might give u instant relief, but sitting on a firm surface will help u recover faster. - From a mother of 2 kids, both normal delivery.
Makes me really wonder how are mums handled it with in laws expecting them to be back to house work in a week and unsupportative husbands!! Really need to start appreciating them
Just one advice❤️while watching your videos I really feel in how much pain you are. An advice from mom to mom❤ for 2-4 weeks you need to rest in bed this is what I did. And let you family take care of other things. When you are happy and healthy then you can take care of your baby by yourself. You should sit only when you breastfeed and go to toilet. Don’t move or get up and too much. Just like you said give your body at least 9 months to heal❤️ more power to you mommy❤️🫰🏻and hope to see you well hope you know what I mean😍
Loving this content sooo much ❤❤ Cuz I m in 5 month of postpartum this is me .........i m doing exclusively breastfeeding Your everything I can relate to it so much my baby also got jaundice 4 days her billirubin was 35 she got double blood transfusion+phototherapy ... Now she doing fine you are brave we women are brave love you ❤cheers to motherhood
Malvika is there something that women who are not pregnant yet, can do ahead of the pregnancy to avoid tearing up & stitching if they give vaginal birth. Anything about food, exercises, massages etc.
@@yaasmiinn yes it does. I was in labour for 17 hours, towards the last hours I felt I would die, I had no energy and I was hungry and sleepy as hell. I did not dilate from 5cm onwards for 7-8 hours so they performed an emergency C section. The contractions are the worst, all my yoga and breathing techniques turned useless. It is like having fire on in back of your body and you are burning. I was in so much pain…after c section, I couldn’t walk straight for a month and couldn’t sleep without pain for two months. After two months things improved and now my baby is 7 months. I feel so grateful to have her, it was worth all the pain. Kids are the biggest joy but be prepared for the pain of delivery and recovery.

Hi Malz!... really feel your pain as a mom of a 1.5 year old.
Hi i had the same experience . It was late for me but do try healthsense wearable pump its amazing and you can pump even lying
Kudos to you for being so honest and telling us everything.... I had no idea about stitches in vaginal birth.... You are just amazing ❤❤
Love love the honesty of this video. All of it is relatable unlike other Instagram mom content.
Almost all the comments have heart in them......that shows how much we love you 😍 ❤️
Not sure if anyone has already recommended this but get a pumping bra which will allow you to express without holding the bottle/ pump and you’ll be hands free.

Thanks for keeping it real. After birth is really hard. I can relate to all your challenges as a single parent

Philips avent pump is also really good girl… my boy is 4 months and I use it sometimes… it’s really great
your skin looks beautiful. hope you recover soon. what clear glasses are you wearing? link/brand pls.
You’re doing AMAZING Mama♥️ To be able to come here and share such raw details in itself is 🤌🤌🤌 We love you and baby Abby💖 Looking forward to see so much more of you both😇
I be waiting for these videos to drop! Never waited so eagerly for anything else! ❤

Hi Malvika
Expect recovery after 6 weeks ...while it take months actually but after 6 weeks you will feel better dear. Stay hydrated.
After a c-section, I was kind of handicapped for about 1.5 months, and I felt really bad for depending upon others. Now, after 3 months, I have started to do little things at home... and I quite like it
Thank you for showing this part of motherhood as well.
I was told to pump after i feed my son.. he was premie.. so i have to feed him every two hours and then pump.. but it really helped me.. i was in london and there they recommend madela.. which was really good…
U are so cute Malvika. Love the way u narrate everything u r gong thru
Congratulations for your baby girl. More power to you. I wish you healing and love.

Thanks for being the elder sister some of us never had, SOOOO MUCH MORE POWER TO YOU ❤️

Thnku for being soo honest
Still most of the people will never und despite of been women themselve
You are a warrior. Praying for your faster recovery.
Once breastfeeding gets easier, it's kind of addictive... And it's easy food on the go for the baby! Trust me you are going to do it for more than a year 😂! I can already tell

Stay Blessed Mals .. You got lot of Courage … Kudos 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
My Sunday is incomplete without Malzzz❤
love you ❤❤
Aww love you malss .. also love how dramatic yet sooo pure your heart is❤❤
Sit on a firm surface instead of using a donut pillow. Pillow might give u instant relief, but sitting on a firm surface will help u recover faster. -
From a mother of 2 kids, both normal delivery.

Hey it's ok please don't be so much conscious for your dark circles and white hair and stretch marks...its totally fine yaa ❤🤗
Loving this content sooo much ❤❤
Cuz I m in 5 month of postpartum this is me .........i m doing exclusively breastfeeding
Your everything I can relate to it so much my baby also got jaundice 4 days her billirubin was 35 she got double blood transfusion+phototherapy ...
Now she doing fine you are brave we women are brave love you ❤cheers to motherhood
Malvika is there something that women who are not pregnant yet, can do ahead of the pregnancy to avoid tearing up & stitching if they give vaginal birth.
Anything about food, exercises, massages etc.
Power to you. It shall pass too .. enjoy the moments with baby as time flies.. come out stronger😊
me watching this while having really bad period cramps and thinking how this is nothing compared to the entire birthing process and healing.
Not scaring you dear but prepreparing you because no one warned me about it: periods are a cakewalk compared to labour/birth and post birth recovery.

@@HarmanSingh-929does it hurt a lot ? Do you feel like dying? Is it really very scary ?
This is so brave, Mals ❤ sending you loads of love
Malvika....I used to watch ur videos way back...and I love u for ur content always....but lemme just tell u that u are soo strong girl.....more power to you .....❤ Really appreciate ur birth vlogs.....managing all the things single handled and still wearing a smile ❤ keep posting such videos 📸 all of us r fighting some or other thing but to see ur smiling face is just a bliss......love to abbey❤❤❤❤
