I would definately go for master kenobi in ur situation. But u need to sidebuild ur negotiator fleet and that could lead u into lv with bad batch and marauder.
I would definitely build up Bad Batch if I fully commit to Kenobi.
Kenobi is a solid get.
That with pow is a compelling side bar option for QGJ or kelleran, if doing QA split
About to get him as my first GL! I am at 4 mil GP and my main teams are GR so JMK was the obvious GL after GAS
At this rate...I'm honestly banking on Lightspeed Bundles to catch me up on some of the older requirements for Journey Guide characters. I probably won't even consider going for Lord Vader until Bad Batch are dropped in a lightspeed bundle. Probably still a bit away from that...but those are Kyrotech that I can use on Gungans, GL Leia requirements, and Bo Katan Mandalor requirements. Plus, the newer teams are becoming necessary just to participate in newer events.
Yeah if you are not chained down by strict free to play standards lightspeed bundles make it so much easier to focus on newer stuff. Just have to cross your fingers and hope the next bundle will be what you want. I feel like lightspeed bundles have been getting "worse" with each new release. Still great but not to the level of the earlier ones.
@@AhnaldT101I think it's more so that we're running out of great characters to put in LS bundles that are not new characters. Like the last one with Jedi, it's benefit was simply not having to waste gear and relic materials on characters needed for the raid
@@osets2117 What Ahnald said has some truth to it though. Compare the Rey and SLKR LSBs that first came out to the latest ones like Geos, Ewoks, and NS. Around 10 R5 characters for $10 to 5 R3 characters for $15 albeit them being a full team. Also, the Separatist LSB had similar contents to the first ones but cost $25. CG realized how popular these LSBs were in the first drops so they decided to up the price and/or decrease the value. Obviously they are still great value but not as insane as they used to be. If they were to make faction or GL req LSBs, some possibilities I can see are SEE reqs, Imperial Troopers (old ones), Rebel Fighters/Rogue One, and Sith, but would cost more than the initial ones.
Doing the same, waiting for a LV lightspeed bundle to progress down that rabbit hole. Too expensive for gear and Relic mats that are needed in other relevant paths.

I think GL Leia would help since Jabba and JML are already nextdoor. She would give you the most value from where you are right now. Kenobi and Tano after that would be amazing for this account as well. Not sure if that's correct, just what I would do if my account was at your point! My account is about a year or so behind your F2P, so I will have to make this decision in a year!
I started grinding Jedi Knight Cal because I played Survivor for the first time recently and just wanted to get him in SWGoH
He is one of my favorite characters in this game. Second to Bane. So much fun with him.

Yes it is a mistake. You can get a character in half a year not accelerated. And you need a year to even start farming for a char if you wait for it.
Where I'm at in the game, just building up the gear to utilize those new characters takes too long to be worth the extra energy on slow farms.
Unless I have immediate use for a single character that I'm willing to prioritize over everything else, value's not there.
There is a very strong angle where if you have taken advantage of a chase, you are about even on finishing the unit or starting a new unit from 0 that is accelerated. I wouldn't farm a non accelerated unit where I haven't gotten a chase for example.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it... I have always sworn by new players best spending their time and effort farming things that are accelerated. You are literally HALVING your efficiency by farming marquees. Yes, there is a big new shiny reward at the end of it all... but does it really sound enticing to have 1 shiny new galactic legend instead of two "old and boring" ones?
If I was going to give farming advice in this day and age, it would be consider farming the 'newer' GL's that still have accelerated requirements, like Leia, Jabba, etc. While I hate speculating on LSB's, I'd be completely shocked (heh, shocked) if a Sith Eternal LSB wasn't hiding around the corner. The previous rebel LSB's were, effectively, JML LSB's, let's be honest.
The only exception I make to this is a new character that is absolutely busted, like Bane, which is rare (outside of datacrons). My R5 Bane takes our R9 Reys in GAC without the Bane DC. That's one hell of a payout for gearing up a single toon.

Yeah I generally avoid non-accelerated stuff. However, when accelerated drops push me a lot farther it is quite tempting. Thanks for the kind words!
I’m just waiting for the Jedi Knight Cal Kestis event to finally come back as I’ve had everyone ready to go for about a month. Hopefully with the Naboo raid update it gets put in the journey guide. I’ve had relic mats and gear hoarded up to immediately take him to relic 7, and after that I’ll finally get to work on doing Jedi Knight Luke and Jedi Master Luke
I WAS going to start farming Gungans... that until GL Ahsoka showed up, gonna wait till the requirements for Ahsoka, already have LV and Master Kenobi, Ahsoka WILL be my 3rd GL

Hey Ahnald, have you put together a video recently on the new price for a Marquee character? I have 75K crystals saved up, and I was wondering what the crystal cost is for a new marquee character with the new system in place :D
Traditionally new Marquee will cost approximately $1 per shard, so about $330. $100 buys 16K Crystals, so you should have more than enough. That's not too helpful anymore with the new system (someone else will have to clear that up for you) but that may help give you a rough estimate.
@@jalengattonWell assuming your ratio is correct, we get an additional 15 shards for new marquees. So that's a total of 65 free, 330 minus 65 is 265.
(265 / 100) * 16k = 42,400 crystals per marquee

I think you should go for cal whenever he becomes permanent so you dont have to throw a GL at malgus all the time

Almost can start the ticket farm voor GL Leia. Afterwards I was thinking about Profundity as primairy and Gungans als secondairy. But with GL Ashoka, she might change this all. Although I need a 2nd meta fleet for GAC
Of all the options, id recommend JMK, it would give you another fleet, another group of defences for the f2p

I don't think the Profundity event shows in the events section until you unlock the Profundity.
I don’t really need to debate… My first rush was Executor, then Lord Vader. Who I’m about to unlock in a week. That basically rolls right into Master Kenobi. Then I can go for Ahsoka. Regardless, it feels good to get the longest GL farm out of the way first and have a bunch of kickass teams to boot.
My guesses for ahsoka are:
Rebels: Hera, (Ezra), (Sabine), Vader, Thrawn.
clone wars: (Asajj). (Barris), (Rex), General Skywalker, (Plo)
marquees: hermit Ezra, JT Sabine, Night Trooper, Huyang.
(unit)= not a previous requirement for another unit
Bonus joke marquee: we get everyones favorite Martez sisters

@@travis51killer01 possible, i think it will mainly depend on there goals for Ahsoka. like do they use characters in game for her team like Leia mostly did, or like jabba who mainly got the marquees for his team

Personally, I'm finishing up Levi requirements, then I'll start working towards Ahsoka. I've been passively farming the Gungans for a bit, but will switch off them to work towards the new stuff.
I’m at a similar stage to you (though with a few less GLs…) and I’m working on JMK reqs right now.
Having GK at R8 for Negotiator, I’m top 10 in my fleet shard all day every day. Loving it.
I have exactly 0 CAT shards though 😬
My problem with SWGoH is that if you farm old goodie teams....you're way behind the people who have money....when you try to stay current...you're halfway through farms before new farms come into the game.
Are you planing on doing a breakdown of your daily routine of the f2p account? I have so many chars around relic 1 but im lacking Carbonite circuit boards and bronzium wiring so im falling so far behind.... I must be doing something wrong.
My only problem is my guide doesn't farm WAT. So I either downgrade from Reva guild to a WAT guild or hope CG makes farming him easier
Just a shout, but if you decide on getting cal since, it is a smaller and lighter farm, especially immediately after a GL level ship, you could get cal and put CAT with cere and cal (non legendary) until you get JMK since CAT is a powerful unaligned force user, but once you get JMK, who I would farm next, you should be close to malicos from proving grounds to swap in, in place of CAT on the team. Then, with saw, you will be able to create a strong rebel fighters team to go with luthen when you unlock him.
With how cheap and easily accessible NS are, you could get an easy Jabba 2shot counter if you go for Jedi Knight Cal
I think you need to go for GS. With a new raid incoming your freetoplay account going to need more GR and Seps characters.

Where is your guild for JKCK unlocks? If you’re not imminently unlocking Zeffo, then go JMK. Luther can hang with Mon Mothma, so he’s not a waste. JMK requirements can go with Qadme for the raid.

I gonna unlock Queen Amidala next conquest too, i need 64 shards i believe, so i think i should make it. Gonna put her with GAS for the time being, cuz i really feel inspired by that GAS + Queen Amidala video you made a while back.
I might start on padawan Obi-Wan and Master Qui-Qon eventually, but Yeah i'm still recuperating of my Leviathan and SLKR back-to-Back unlock and farming crystals to get Levi to 7 stars.... so yeah, it's a slow grind now, unlocking / Upgrading nothing at the moment...
I wanna have Master Kenobi too, but the Wat Tambor grind is such a Gatekeeping thing, i unlocked him today... so far off. 😢
if they keep the gls at this rate there wont be any room for other teams in GAC unless they expand the board

I recently returned to this game a few weeks ago after being away for about 4 years. Videos are helping me figure out which direction I need to go. I recently unlocked Darth Revan and then Darth Malak yesterday and was trying to figure out where to go from there. I just remember that's what I was working on last, but I think I'm going to go for JKL next. I just want the character cause that's THE Luke, even if he's not the best, I want him for my JKR team too but having him will help me get JML and others eventually. Your videos helped me see that, so thanks man!

That is a very weird issue to have. Hopefully they FIX THEIR GAME before iOS 18 is fully available.
Its insane that you cant upgrade old teams and get old legendaries, and also work on new teams.
Marvel Strike Force has so much catchup stuff, im half the power of my alliance members, but unlocking new legendaries easier than most of them because i spend my resources more efficiently. Plus the fact its actually possible to keep up with the new stuff in that game without spending money.
Until Captain Britain lol. BP Shuri will have to be 5 star to unlock him, as well as Hank Pym, which likely won't be the easy 2-3 star unlock F2P. This means you'll have to core for them, and if you don't, Illuminati seems SIGNIFICANTLY worse without Britain. I'm hyped for the team because I love Crucible teams like MOE or Cabal, but just disappointed that the unlock boxes out F2P for a long time.

they totally will change their minds on that if the community complains enough, cuz they do listen most times. It wouldnt make any sense to make him that hard to get when theyre going to be required for the next legendary.
Thankfully i never use my cores so it should be fine for me anyways.

Jar Jar is a better character overall I would say as well as more important for the foreseeable future. Aphra is good don't get me wrong though.
I love aphra but removing my bias jar jar is the better one to go for cause of raid and also aphra was designed to only fully work when her datacron exists.

I have a 7M GP F2P account in kyber 2 and I've decided to focus on unlocking the latest conquest units as they can counter GLs and are easier to obtain anyway
Nice! 6.8mill here but in K3. Always get within a hairs breath of K2 but fall off. I should be there soon
GLs are just defensive fodder at this point when Conquest toons are better.
Oddly similar situation here. It's just a bit more chaotic here. I basically went ham on LSBs while working on my plan and now I have JMLS and Rey at G9, no zetas, while I want to focus on Quadme, Luthen, and Gungans. I feel like it's honestly better to focus on the new things because they're the ones that get support and goodies, unless it's something like Rey or Inqs (how many times did they get DCs over SLKR?). I'm almost at 7* for Gungans and nowhere near enough Kyros but it might be better to focus there for my account. Even if JMLS and Rey being delayed hurts.
I'm a f2p account from near the beginning. And I'm also stuck currently. The options I have right now are either Gungans, like you have them mostly done, or Queen Amidala/MQJ/PKenobi, Bo Katan, GLRey (only GL I don't have) or save for GL Ashoka. I'm just kinda in no man's land direction wise.
Personally I wanted to do JMK after I finished my Maul team, but for the Guild (and my GAC) I’m currently farming Gungans for the raid. After I get those guys done, I’ll be going after JMK since I already have a R8 CAT that currently is on my Padme team.
I think for the F2P, I would do JMK and then Gungans, mainly for the GAC defense side and also helping out the Guild on the Nabbo Raid
Personally ive been hard focusing ships ever since the LS Bundles became a thing. While working on Leviathan ive gotten the SLKR boost, GL Rey, BAM, effectively the best of the SEP faction, a very strong Bounty Hunter team, BANE, Negotiator, most of GAS and im more than ready for the new raid. Thanks to not needing to farm toons i have enormous amount of crystals to spend on FastTracking my Leviathan to 7* and get back into working on a new fleet. Imo ship grinding is now the play if you're willing to spend money.
I am currently perhaps 2-3 weeks away from leia, and am in a similar situation as you. I already have JMK, so my debate is between profundity, JKC, the new ahsoka, or perhaps jabba. Im thinking i’ll go for profundity and farm the new ahsoka reqs on the side, as they will take time to come out and be farmable. So profundity-JKC-Ahsoka

im farming JMK currently. it will take me awhile to get all the requirements etc and to unlock as im F2P, well partial F2P (thanks lightspeed bundles). Im about 8-9 months away, if my math is correct from Commander Tano so it should line up perfect for me.
I just finished getting JML's ultimate and next I'm going for profundity. I'm pleasantly surprised that overall JML's events were the easiest out of the GLs.
I just broke 6 million, and lemme tell ya i looked at your roster and realized my shit is BLOATED 🤣🤣🤣 you got four gls and two gl ships. I got 2 gls and one gl ship. I have some stuff you dont of course but mah gad youd stomp in me GAC 😭😭
FYI the Gungan Shield Generator bug has been "fixed" according to their bug tracker. Its waiting to get added to an update. As for when that update takes place? Could be this week, could be longer. But I wouldn't make any farming decisions based off the bug at this point.
What I don't understand is why Yoda isn't a GL. Maybe they should create an event that promotes Master Yoda to a GL and Vader would be cool too. Those were the original epic characters. I only have 1 GL (SEE) currently. Not sure which to do next. I have been building my bounty hunters for the raid per one of your earlier videos. There is just too much to focus on...lol

My conundrum is that, now that im about to finish jabba, do i build gungans or do i build my conquest units (cat, maul, dtmg, and ben swolo. Already have ben and malgus at relic). Once both are done, do i build inquisition for the assault battle and reva, or do i build prof, or leia? So many paths. Partially im waiting on inquisition hoping for a LSB

IMO go for JMK. It will make your fleets game even stronger. By the time you have all the requirements ready, your CAT will be ready to be unlocked as well.
Ahnald shows me the difference between someone who knows the game and someone like me. I've been playing since 2016 and have taken large breaks before coming back and playing since 21-22. I am at 6.6 million and he's got there faster then I could have ever imagined
Here's the video I've desparately been searching for. How in the world have you free to played and almost caught up to my main? How do you get relic characters so quickly and how you farm character shards so efficiently? I've been spending my daily crystals to upgrade my relics but my char shard progressions has slowed to a crawl now
I only need to relic 4 characters for my JMK but I'm seriously struggling for Wat Tambor shards. I've got him to level 11 but only at 4 stars 😢
Your FTP needs GAS. GAS reqs will help your guilds Naboo raid and your JMK farm
I already stablished clear goals: first are events that gives free stuff or resources in general like assault battles or the raid so now my priorities are Gungans (for raid) Jabba (for mods and all those special missions) and Queen admidala with PoW and Poncho (raid and new assault battle).
After that reinforce all fleets and rush any new fleet that comes.
At last... Fun: every time i can i get a new toon to relic of my favorite 3 factions: impire trooper, Bounty hunters and separatist

My account isn’t even completely free to play and I’ve been playing since 2016 and I’ve got 5.3 million GP. I feel like somewhere along the way I messed up badly which is probably with being in a bad/ dying guild for 4 years tbh.
Been grinding for gl leia and aphra. Seems like they’re moving the goal posts faster these days. Sucks because ideally, jabba overlaps a ton with what I have but it’ll be a heavy relic grind. Those springs are bottlenecking me worse than kyro

Would love to see you start another account and show the path with just the hyperdrive and lightspeed bundles. This is the most common path for new players and would really provide them with the best path for success. But I understand how difficult it would be to stop playing your ftp account. 6 Million....

I'm curios on what you decide I'm in a very similar boat. getting jkck when hes permeant I have gungans all 7* also 11/16 on leia and somewhat close to kenobi. i want the new stuff but feel as i should finish the old.
KyroTech really is becoming the aggravation to the game. It impedes you from doing some fun things. It was so, so annoying to do the Inquisitors, and all the Cantina energy for the relic materials for relic 7.
I'm calling sabine and ezra for GL Ashoka, not only for the Rebels show, but her own show too. Maybe Beskar Mando
This next raid is arguably worst that the raid system in msf It's clear it was built to maximize revenue for cg. Almost all the best teams for this raid seem to require a new marque/ conquest or kegendary character or both. This kind of stuff is demorolizing for those players who are already at that breaking point.
Heres my take: dont go for jmk. I think cg is trying to make more counters to jmk and make him less viable now. He's an older character and the meta is changing. Just like lord vader,(although hes sucked from day one) we are seeing more and more teams beating him. Same with rey, we are seeing more counters to them.
I didn't remember jmK having such poor requirements at all
However I would suggest GL Leila, in the end it is the best GL

I thought about it and I say Master Kenobi First just to help your guild with the Naboo Raid and Leia stuff is fully double drop yet and Endor Raid is over it's not as helpful.
Imagine how it feels being FTP and a casual player. It's really disheartening at times as things just keep getting further out of reach.
