Glad to see you back after all this time. Nice avatar, and is that a Broken Chain necklace I see around your neck? Yeah, something tells me that these next two seasons will be real whoppers. My thoughts on the paths that are going to be explored are, of course, Aravos's machinations and impending freedom, Callum's further development as a Mage, and perhaps freeing humanity from the corruption of Dark Magic(as so artfully described by the Elarion poem), Rayla's hunt for Viren, Ezran working to create a formal peace between Elves, Dragons, and Humans, and many more besides.
It's been longer than I intended! The necklace says "Theory-pop" in Tengwar, the elvish script created by Tolkein. I agree, the next couple of seasons are going to be immense! The developments we see in this next phase of the saga are going to have huge impacts on Xadia, so I can't wait to see what's next.
I know a version a bit different of the poem Elarion, seeds trembling Lying in the ground on an icy night And in the cold She withdrew her roots Challenging the sting of the deadly winter Elarion, and her blooming flower Afraid of the wilting, darkness and death Had searched the dark For a spark And so the eyes of the hungry dragon flared Elarion, the frighten foundling Streched her white branches twords the night Asking the stars to receive the light And to stop the fire of the raging dragon Elarion in a heavy rest Cried while the stars of the sky turned black They wore their masks Turned their back And left Elarion to die Elarion, as her skin struggeled with death Withered and suffered in the dark Untill the last star Reached out from far away It's touch: a fire a gift a spark Elarion and her blinding light Embraced the great black flame of night And when she bowed She declared her faith Wispered "Aaravos", his name Elarion, black-eyed child Her twisted roots spread deep and far The humans' might Sparked by the light Of Aaravos, her midnight star
I love that this is a world with its own unique constellations. They look really unique (tree growing out of a book, where did that idea come from?) and I'm curious how Star magic will work. Is this world of pre-determined fates in which Star-touched Elves can "see the strings" or is there more room for the characters to define their own destiny
So tree growing from book is pretty common image, I think I migh of seen it in a PBS commercial when I was younger. Still like the image and find it a cool constellations idea
One of the core messages of the first 3 seasons was that “destiny is a book you write yourself.” I like the idea that the Startouch elves see how fate/destiny could go, but the protagonists constantly fight against “destiny” and could change this.
Despite that it was so short for a first look at what's to come, I absolutely loved all the imagery in this first look. I think you're right about Viren's pose, and that it's depicting him reaching up for Aaravos. It would make sense, given that when the two of them meet, Viren's desperation leads him to seek Aaravos's help despite his own better judgement. But the longer their partnership went on, the more clear it became that Viren was no longer in control and Aaravos was manipulating the situation to his advantage. And I definitely think that's what Viren reaching up and Aaravos holding his stone figure is meant to signify. As you implied though, I'm really interested to find out if the Fallen Startouch Elf continues using Viren going forward or if he will turn more toward Claudia --- who not only appears to be even more skilled and powerful than her father, but is also in an emotionally vulnerable place and could potentially be manipulated. One thing that I find intriguing is how we see not only a star that appears to represent Aaravos falling from the sky in the final image, but also other stars. Does that mean other Startouch Elves will be "falling" or appearing at some point in the next two seasons? It has been said that Startouch Elves are very few and Aaravos is the only one who has ever been seen by humans. If they see Aaravos as a threat, will they come to confront him? Or is it a sign that they will ultimately "fall from the sky," as Aaravos promised in the little "Patience" blurb released on the website?
On the star map we see at the bottom we see six jewels that represents the six primal sources. Star is biggest, but why is sky and sun so small? I think that the death of the dragon king and the fall of lux aurea represents huge losses for its respectiv primal sources. So in the next season, if we go in order, earth will suffer a huge loss and in season 5 ocean and then moon? Maybe iam overthinking a bit.
Awesome video!!! Also I subbed :) I also came up with a theory that connects Zootopia and Ice Age, my theory is Ice Age and Zootopia take place in the same world and universe, but the Ice Age movies take place before Zootopia movies (a sequal coming soon) and the mini series on Disney Plus, Ice Age was made by Blue Sky, Blue Sky was owned by Fox, then Disney bought Fox, so the probabilities of Zootopia being connected to Ice Age in my opinion are very very big :) the trailer said humans never existed in the world of Zootopia, but what if the early humans or Neanderthal People in the first Ice Age movie we're the closest thing to humans before never returning in anymore of the Ice Age Movies, so what if there was almost humans in Ice Age, but then they wen't extinct, another big indicater for my theory is in Zootopia predators used to hunt prey, then out of nowhere they started getting along and moving past their savage ways, in the first Ice Age movie, we see no predator or herbivore animals go together in one group, untill Manny, Sid, and Diego worked together to bring back a baby, once successful with their mission they joined as one group AKA moving past their savage ways, in future movies like in continental drift, we see a Sabertooth Tiger AKA Shira and a Rabbit coexisting together on a boat, but thats not all, in the sequals they build water parks, playgrounds, ships, even simple chairs, and in Zootopia when Nick and Judy enter the Museum, we see a Mammoth that is ampormorphic (I think thats how you spell it), along with predatory animals of the morden world or holocene Epoc, indicating that certain species in Ice Age went extinct in Zootopia before the events of Zootopia itself as we never see Mammoths or Sabertooth Tigers, instead we are left with Modern day Mammals like Elephants, Giraffes, Raccoons, Foxes, Badgers, Rabbits, Hedgehogs, Squirrels, and Tigers, the reason why we don't see Reptiles or Birds is because they are probably thriving in the Lost World, as Dinosaurs are Reptiles and Birds (more closely related to birds), which is evident cause we don't see that many reptiles on the Surface in the Ice Age movies with the exeption of a Pliosaur and a Crocodile Ichthyosaur in The Meltdown, and the Dodos and red giant birds, but the fact that both movie series shown animals being advance or advancing, predator and herbivore getting along eventually, and what we see in the museum defenently connects some dots, and thats my Theory on Ice Age and Zootopia 2 :)
The first human that ever learns. Primal Magic is the villain. We got the parents of when he became a elf. By learning all sources of magic, you became a elf this human. Human.

There's. This poem is about Airbus reaching for. The darkness in the night. And they're afraid that Marian is what he's saying. The human race from being extinguished. From a dragon? The elf, who save a Lori. You know the humans. He was an elf. That was originated as a human. That's what that is all about.
Ok just one more question: Are you aware of the D and D campaign stuff that’s like canon and apparently has stuff to do with the Sunfire elves?😅 I want to play it but I have no one to play with (I’m also not sure if playing it online is possible)

Airbus is the first human that ever did dark magic. And he's the one that fought against the save the human race. And that's why they call him the Midnight star.
The mystery is that he was human at at the beginning of all things. That's. What that means? But the dragon tear. And all that, that means that he wants the end of all Dragons to die. That's what that means. For what they've done to him.

Elarion, the frighten foundling
Streched her white branches twords the night
Asking the stars to receive the light
And to stop the fire of the raging dragon
Elarion in a heavy rest
Cried while the stars of the sky turned black
They wore their masks
Turned their back
And left Elarion to die
Elarion, as her skin struggeled with death
Withered and suffered in the dark
Untill the last star
Reached out from far away
It's touch: a fire a gift a spark
Elarion and her blinding light
Embraced the great black flame of night
And when she bowed
She declared her faith
Wispered "Aaravos", his name
Elarion, black-eyed child
Her twisted roots spread deep and far
The humans' might
Sparked by the light
Of Aaravos, her midnight star
