SOLIDWORKS Tech Tip: How Do I 3D Print from SOLIDWORKS

With every new release, SOLIDWORKS continues to embrace 3D printing. As 3D printing becomes more common in the workplace, users are turning to SOLIDWORKS to better understand their designs in the context of 3D printing. There are several 3D printing visualization and analysis tools inside of SOLIDWORKS. All of them can be accessed through the Print3D tool.

When I click Print3D, under the "Settings" tab there is a message that reads "There are no 3D printers installed on this computer."
It still allows me to save STL files but I cannot see a preview. I have a 3D printer connected to another computer. Should I be worried?
