    This is fantastic. Very, very exciting and inspiring. So intelligent.
    I talk to my friends about Dr. Lustig’s work all the time. We need to hear what he’s saying. It’s liberating!

    Lost 30 pounds with Dr. Lustig information. I am well below overweight now. Retired early and said to heck with it. Walk 4 miles daily. You saved my life. How can you thank some one for that? Good wishes.

    Sorry for the annoying beeping sound - this was a live Facebook conversation, and everytime someone commented on the presentation, it made that annoying sound!

    Fascinating and well presented. Following both of your works for several years and believe the change in our populations food awareness is getting close. Many more people have made this connection - great work!

    Dr Lustig is not only a magnificent scientist, but a man of vision who should occupy a very high place within our Federal Government who has sold the integrity of its members to Big Business. To me , no better man in this country could serve - and already does - the interest of our citizenry and the health of the Nation and the world alike. You’re only half a physician if you’re just good at your craft. And indeed, Dr. Lustig is one of the very few ones who are true physicians. Unless it’s coupled with patient-centered care and humanism, it’s suboptimal care. By not giving the public educational and health care systems that are affordable, the government enslaves people and makes them vulnerable. Exactly what they want. And Dr. Lustig is one of few true scientists who is helping to fight that trend of abuse from our own government.
    To be adjusted to a profoundly sick society as ours, it is no measure of either mental or physical health.

    Will the books referred to in the video make desired sense/ or benefit those from the non-medical world.. meaning are they too technical.. or only the doctors will appreciate more what ur talking about..

      Dr Bredesen's book has easy chapters and complex chapters.

      Bredensen's book is great except that you have to find a doctor who is willing to do the medical exams and believes what the book says.

    What brain stimulant chemicals have increased in use over the past 40 years that could lead to brain burnout or Alzheimer's?
    Sugar and caffeine would be my first suspect. Caffeine increases stress. Just a theory , I only have a grade 12 education

      There are countless studies that have been done on tea and coffee. People have always suspected, or hoped for, a negative effect. Such studies generally reveal no adverse effect, and typically reveal a benefit. Take home message: whatever undesirable effect caffeine might possess is easily trumped by its benefits (antioxidant/ polyphenol properties of tea and coffee, the promotion of fat burning, etc.)

      Sugar, on the other hand, is clearly a pure poison that destroys metabolic health. Fructose apparently has the unique ability to trap ATP. It literally diminishes life potential in cells.

      Most daily coffee drinkers don't drink it for it's theoretical health benefits. They drink it because they are hopelessly addicted to it and can't function normally without it.

    • @martinirving3824
      @martinirving3824 6 років тому +1

      Are you speaking as a coffee drinker? Or are you speaking as someone who has an axe to grind with coffee drinkers? How do you know coffee drinkers are hopelessly addicted to it? Seriously?
      Soda is shit. Coffee actually has some benefits.
