I recommend a video about the fool pathway, if you are brainstorming ideas for a video. It would go excellent and connect well with your theming of lotm videos so far, if you discuss it in a more thematic, conceptual sense rather than just fact based. You know kind of like talking about how well the author connected the fool pathways progression with the theme of the fools journey. Another video suggestion would be talking about how well the plot device of the tarot club was used in the story. (I like talking about themes and concepts of novels if you didn't notice) Anyway your lotm videos so far have a lot of potential and there are so few lotm youtubers out there who actually talk about the novel so its nice your talking about it more. 😁(Hopefully there will be a huge boon of lotm content in youtube after the anime comes out and I hope you have a head start in the race)
I think if both patents are Beyonders the parents with the higher sequence will pass down their characteristic but if both are of the same sequence the one with the more digestion of the potion will be picked
Not really a spoiler but this aspect was not really relevant to the story after the initial revelation iirc it was mentioned again only one other time during a club meeting and one other tiny, indirect plot point. . . . . . . . On a side note I have been traumatized enough by the second book whenever pregnancy is mentioned.
Preparing to read the second book. I remeber that the child who inherits the beyonder characteristics cannot switch pathways and haves to progress until after reaching sequence 4. Which is when they are able to switch to neigbouring pathways.
I would assume both of the parents' characteristics get passed down and the child is born as a crazy monster that has powers from both pathways. Edit:Or it could just end up being stillbirth. Basically just what happens to a guy who drinks potions from a non neighbouring pathway.
@@pineguin008 Its told that demigods and above can choose how much to impart from 0(normal human) to as much as they have until they lose control which they can get back later. Under that level beyonders do NOT choose if they give their characteristics and they have a much lower fertility rate especially with other pathways. The child either doesn't get born(dead really quick bc of BC clash so it's not even a miscarriage) or born with one of the two pathways's BC that is higher ranked.

That would be a more pessimistic albeit realistic outcome for sure
