My favorite part of Shadow Slave was when the Shadow Slave that was enslaved by the Shadow Slaver finally broke free from it's control, but instead of running away it asked the Shadow Slaver "Are you the Shadow Slaver because you enslave shadows to work for Mappa or do you enslave shadows to work for Mappa because you are the Shadow Slaver" to which the Shadow Slaver responded with "Would you lose if The one who left it all behind And his overwhelming always bet on with this treasure I Funeral for the Nah, I'd Win" and then popped his Bankai and brutally beat the shadow back into submission to work for Mappa some more

Regarding the sacred rank, I have a theory as to how one reaches that stage. When Nephis and Sunny encountered Condemnation, Nephis said that sacred and cursed beings are minor deities, and that at that rank, one truly starts assuming qualities of the divine. So, for one to reach that rank, it would make sense for one of the requirements being to assume a divine quality. Now, the problem is mainly with what would that mean. To know that, one must consider what divine means both in general and in this setting; Divine in general being something of/relating to god/gods. In Shadow slave, there are two things divine could be talking about; Either the divine rank, or the Gods. It being connected to the gods seems more likely since it is phrased as "qualities of the divine" and not "divine qualities", which suggests that there is a set definition for what said qualities are. That being said, it may be that becoming a sacred being is locked behind either possessing a divine lineage, or what i find more likely, possessing the flame of divinity, considering that the gods came from the original flame, i don't think anything would be closer to being the definition of divine qualities. This could explain why the sovereigns aren't trying to become sacred beings, as if my theory is true, they can't assume the qualities of the divine as they don't possess enough of the spark of divinity to proceed.
that would be a very boring reason tbh. i would understand if the flame makes the process easier but for such a thing to be the sole reason for becoming Sacred is too bland. the sovereigns aren't dumb surely they would have found another way to ascend or found a way to get the flame. Also they all have divine lineages, i think that would play a bigger role in becoming Sacred rather than the flame since a lineage is much more direct and influences a person more than the flame would.
@@sadthomas5067 It would make no sense that to become sacred, one would need to have the lineage of one of the gods, considering that would mean EVERY SINGLE sacred being to have ever existed would have possessed such a lineage, reducing said lineage's worth to practically nothing. Also, having a lineage, as seen with Sunny, increased the level of your divinity by at least a little, so at the very least those of them who possess a lineage would have the mark of divinity. I would also like to say it is probably locked behind possessing some measure of divinity, not necessarily the flame of divinity. It would probably be enough to possess even the lowest level, though it would likely be much harder to become sacred the lower your divinity is. Something else i remembered is the weird situation regarding whether or not clan Song possesses a god's lineage. In the story it is stated and thought to be true by multiple characters (Mordred and sunny are the ones first to pop to mind), but it is also stated that all daughters of Ki Song are adopted, so none of them should possess the lineage even if she does. Which is weird considering Sunny said something about Seishan's vampire transformation thingy being a clue as to clan song's lineage being that of the beast god. Lastly, what you think is boring does not really matter. As a matter of fact, i think it being simply a god's lineage determining if you can become sacred would be infinitely more boring, but that doesn't matter either, because ultimately no one knows how GuiltyThree would use that. Imagine saying a character dying would be boring, but when it happens and you read it you absolutely love how it was done. It all comes down to execution, in the end.
Another reason for the sovereigns not ascending further could be humanity or the waking world in general. It was stated before, that the further you go down the path of divinity the more you drift away from the waking world and towards the dream realm. It could just be that the reason they're not sacred yet is because they had plans for humanity as a whole that prevented them from "going too far", because - had they abandoned humanity - their domains would crumble, sacred or not, without believers. Or maybe it's a combination of both your and this theory. Or it's something completely different altogether.
how would one make a shadow? Sunny can create bodies using shadow shells. He is aware of the method to create cores. He also has the wills of everything he has ever killed granting the shadow sentience and abilities. This I believe is the fifth step of Shadow dance. Onto Nephises passion branch of the tree of knowledge. What is divine flame? I believe it is a by product of burning the soul essence of those who have any form of passion towards Nephis or if G3 is as sadistic as i remember, their souls as Nephis is a character stated to make that sacrifice. Her transformation ability is stated to be a mass of sentient flame so I believe it is very similar to shadow shell in terms of its drawbacks. This means Nephis will have to become a phoenix...maybe...hopefully. The most interesting bit so far is Mordred. He without question is the most dangerous character in the verse right now cause he now has access to bodies of Supreme creatures in masse and the full support of a sovereign. Do any of you think he can access the bodies of the hollow? Like lets say the body of smile from heaven.
Hmm, this is complicated to convey. Here's what I think. As a saint, your aspect start to influence the world. Keyword, 'start'. The aspects harmonize and influence the world. But creating a domain is like making that permanent and tangible. It would be like changing the natural law, or imprinting one's aspect on the natural law in a specific region. That's why citadels are shortcuts. Remember when Sunny said that as the master of a citadel, he gets some control over the area? If you imprint on the citadel, properly, your range of that influence increases and co opts the citadel's range. That's why Sovereigns get stronger the bigger and stronger their Citadel is. They took the shortcut that the spell gave. Their growth is stunted. That's why they are fighting over control. At least the two big ones. I bet the others gave up on the method and are looking for alternative methods of growing stronger and are making/researching their domains. Think about it. This explains so much. Feel free to challenge this opinion. Or even include this in your next video.
Once again its A-nan-kay but all the information considered, the conclusion is quite on point though realizing one's aspect must also require one's flaw to be known as well before reaching at least Master level i think. and to reach a Sovereign level i think it may required one to own a citadel because the nature of reaching sovereignity seems about ruling over something
