Great tip Brian.👍 Never knew you could do that on a zipper.
Good tip, Brian!
Also the dry chain lube for a bike works, dry because the stuff for wet chain use will pick up dust, and turn to grinding paste, while the dry lube does not pick up dust. Best though is to first wash the zipper, and get all the dust out, and once open scrub the teeth with a toothbrush, wet, to get all the dust and grime out. Then rinse, let dry and use the lube on it.
Good stuff Brian as always! One tip/trick we use in the firehouse for the metal zippers on our bunker gear is using paraffin wax...works great too. Thanks for sharing.
Nice tip to know!
Nice video.
I enjoy learning about tips that make life easier. Thanks!
Nice job, thanks
Birthday candle wax works great too as does board wax...
Nice, I used same spray on seat belt, works great, thanks
Silicone lube also works on windows that use felt [or felt like material] as a guide. Home and car windows
LUBE IT!!!!!!! LOL tks for the tip
Thx man. Gotta get another can. Just remember to keep it away from anything to do with painting. Lol. Its the fisheye fairy. Lol.
Hey Bryan nice to see that your doing ok always like to see your videos brother seems that I learn something new every time , hey hear a while ago you were showing how to change a trailer tire our self's with nothing but our tools very nice and you were using a lockithor air compressor , well I ended getting one and loved it but my air compressor stopped working well is still makes the noise like is working but is not airing my tires anymore have you come across this problem with yours . I've tried looking for parts for it by it's name but can't find anything but if you camed across it did you find a fix for it that's my question thanks in advance and keep up with the videos very informative 🙏
Thanks for mentioning that! Yes I did. I tore it down, found the problem. I asked if they had anything like that happen before. They said no and sent me a new one. I filmed fixing the old one with JB Weld high psi 15min epoxy for plastics. I'll edit and post it. You can also zip tie a screw into the hose and delete the sensor in a pinch.
Water works too.
Can't wait to show this to the girls at the bar...
Also, rub a bar of Ivory soap on it or a wax candle.
I just broke the zipper on my jacket.
