This is my exact problem and just got a quote for 5,500 to replace the canvas. I don’t want to throw away this canvas, it’s perfectly fine, it just shrank. 😂 I’ll be ordering these today.
@@ez-xtendzippers1202 so I got my zippers yesterday and they fit perfect! 🙌🏻 I had to talk to someone at your office, it got the black, #10 plastic in two different lengths. I just bought this boat and now I don’t have to replace the canvas. Thank you very much, great product!
Why is it that such a common problem has such an ingenious and simple fix? Brilliant idea. I was just trying to stretch my pontoon boat canvas this afternoon without success.
Not sure why there aren't more positive feedbacks here but your zipper extenders worked great on my Rinker 342 Fiesta Vee canvas, I bought two shorter ones and they worked perfectly last year. As the 20 year old canvas continues to shrink, I am going to buy 4 long zippers this year to cover my back larger window/canvas area. I will wager a bet these zippers get me another 5 years or more out of my canvas! I was quoted 8K for custom replacement,. Your zippers are well worth the price!
Hi James, Yes, depending on the what type of zipper is already in there. You can reach out to my through the website if you would like to send a photo. Otherwise it must be plastic teeth like you see in the video, it must be a separating zipper with a box and pin similar to a jacket and must be YKK compatible (either YKK or Lenzip).
I don’t know if you saw my earlier reply James, but it should fit, if your teeth are plastic, not coil and your zipper has a box and pin that mate like a jacket.
