Let our tent mechanic show you how to fix your broken tent zip.
At Camplight because fixing and restoring tents is what we do to every tent we hire out. We naturally are on hand during the event to fix common tent ailments for the public such as broken poles and rips or zips for a small fee.

Seriously, this tent is older than me, I used to camp with my family in it when I was a child and I thought I'd give one more try at fixing it before i threw it out. The candle wax hack is magic!
Thank you so much I'm homeless living in a tent in the woods. My zipper went out and there's tons of bugs in here and they were all trying to get in and it was at night time and my zipper was loose and it wouldn't sit. Thank God I had a set of pliers and was able to tighten it, thank you so much.
We had issue #2. I used the pliers to squeeze the zipper pull back into shape, though honestly I didn't feel like I was doing anything, and now it works! Like magic! Thank you!

Hey, the tape trick is pretty good! Will make zipper replacement a breeze next time. Another option with basic sewing is to set up a Velcro patch by sewing anchors on each side.

Thank you so very much, fixed my zipper of my tent by applying wax and squeezing the pulley tight with pliers. I was about to through out the whole tent that I had used only a couple of times!
