This was my 2nd recipe for my air fryer and turned out PERFECT! Thanks a ton. Now that I've gained some confidence, I'm going to substitute the bread crumbs for semolina (rava) for a lighter, crispier coating
Great recipe! I just cannot help but that wonder, if you can make fresh shrimp tempura instead of frozen. I love tampura! I will be on the lookout for your air fried chicken nuggets recipe.
Hi there! Welcome, Irais 🙌🏼 You definitely want to use raw shrimp for this recipe. If you were to put already cooked shrimp in the air fryer, it would be super tough and way overcooked busy the time the breading takes on any color 😉
I made shrimp in the air fryer just like you showed us and they turned out fabulous!!!!😋 Thx for sharing your great recipes. Peace and Love ☮️❤️🌼 from sunny 🌅 Greece 🏖️🇬🇷
Discard of the flour and you shouldn't have too much leftover panko! But even still, any leftovers need to be thrown out since they've come into contact with raw shrimp :)
400 F 6 to 8 mins👍🏻✨
Thank you

Thank you for the recipe. Can I replace "All purpose flour" with "Almond or coconut flour" ?
Looks yummy. Will it turn out okay without the cooking spray?
I have not done any recipe testing without the cooking spray so I can't really say. Sorry!
Great recipe! I just cannot help but that wonder, if you can make fresh shrimp tempura instead of frozen. I love tampura! I will be on the lookout for your air fried chicken nuggets recipe.

Hi there! Welcome, Irais 🙌🏼

Aw! Love to hear that! Much love from the US!
Can you do this with cooked shrimp? I have some in the fridge just asking 😊
No, cooked shrimp would be super overcooked by the time the breading browned :(
Does it have to be panko bread crumbs or any type of bread?
We only used Panko in the development process so I can't speak to any variations yet :)
Easy and efficient
Yay! Thank you!
Yoo this is 🔥
Love to hear that!!!
What is the alternative of cooking none stick spray?
Unfortunately we haven't tested this recipe with any other oils so I can't speak to that yet. Sorry!
Perfect😊
I tried it and the shrimp didn’t look golden like yours. Is it bc maybe I didn’t add enough oil spray?
Hmmm... Sorry that happened! More oil could help, or you could always pop them in the oven and broil for a few seconds afterward to crisp them up!
How is the taste? Anyone?
Hi guys😘
Hi friend! Welcome!
What do you do with the used flour and al that leftover panko? Toss it?
Discard of the flour and you shouldn't have too much leftover panko! But even still, any leftovers need to be thrown out since they've come into contact with raw shrimp :)
HEB spray, must be a fellow Texan.
You know it! 🙌🏼
8 mins not enough, how?
8 minutes at 400 degrees in an airfryer is plenty. Even check at 6 minutes to be safe. Beyond 8 minutes you got rubber shrimp.
