I love how for all your Pirate Metal songs, when the chorus kicks in after a verse, you can hear the person who sang the verse in question the most clearly. You didn't have to, but I'm glad you did. It's a lovely touch.
My thought exactly the wellerman With Pellek is my favourite for this very reason

Man, there were some clever choices in here. Johnathan going full power metal mode, and having Colm do the quiet, super-low part was inspired, but it's Anna and Caleb that stand out here for me. Anna absolutely went hard in a lower range than usual, and that was TIGHT, plus having her do the very end was awesome, and I really like that Caleb dirtied up his voice a bit for this: he's got a great voice, but sometimes it can sound a little too "Broadway" for these things, but he sounded PERFECT here. Of course, guitar solo was tight as a duck's arse, though not to my personal taste. I respect it crazy hard, though.

Just wanted to let you guys know you are now a Canon group in my DnD game. You are a group of Sea Bards that are on a mission to recover lost treasure hidden by the first captain of the Santiana.
You're currently in the city of Thornhold playing at a festival for another group of Bard that is canonically played by Brothers of Metal.
It's really a shame that we didn't get to hear the angelic voice of RichaadEB in his own verse but I must say that guitar solo blew me away!

I wish I could give this more than one like. I've never been huge into the whole pirate theme, but this song makes me want to stand on the deck of a ship and feel the wind around me. Gives me that feeling when the heart swells and the eyes get teary. Amazing, overwhelming sound, I'm completely in love

After hearing your cover, I listened to the original for the first time and honestly, it just isn't the same, the original sounds kinda depressing, but your cover just fricken hits. Please do more sea shanty covers, you have a way of adding much needed energy and I love it.

The Crooked Hooks are up to their old tricks.... AND WE LOVE IT!!!! I think this is my favorite of the pirate metal sea shanties they've done so far. If they keep this up, they could almost launch an entire new channel just for these tunes!

Maui is the most beautiful place I've ever seen with me own eyes.
The first time I heard this song was from an album of a local Irish Folk music band in the Dayton, Ohio area (one member was even a member of our church.) Sadly, both men in the group passed away a while back (R.I.P. guys 👼.) However, every time I hear this song, no matter what form, I remember them and can't help but sing. I'm sure they would be EXTREMELY impressed with your guy's rendition as I am. This was EPIC! Can't wait for a new one soon.
