Your crazy. Yes they can all get a 3 hit kill at any range but they feel different for sure
They all behave a bit different but its not that noticeable, the SKS and SVD12 for example
give any of these dmr IRNV or FLIR scope and they’re instantly S tier
FLIR for life I always put that on a dmr and topped off at like 60-70 kills per round

@jacksept5678 when I realized I didn't have bullet drop and I just needed to tap on the red triangles across the map.
I have a niche for each one. Usually it depends on mood though.
RFB: Suppressed weapon with red dot
Mk.11: Long range option
SKS: Assault-purpose DMR
SVD: Spam fire with potato grip. Very little bloom!
QBU-88: Strafing and defensive CQ
EMR: Mid-range option, recoil focus
ACE 53: Volume of fire needed
SCAR-H: Holo sight urban combat option
The Scar dmr feels the best imo, also every dmr kills in 2 hits on hardcore servers

The QBU-88 was my favorite. It does so many things so well aside from its magazine. Truly an underrated gem. :)

Honestly I prefer Svd12 as its the most accurate dmr but has slow firing rate , its best to be used for long ranges to counter snipers fast because its insanely accurate for a dmr I can even say its accuracy is same as snipers.
Meanwhile I use sks for mostly short to medium ranges , sks for me is excellent in locker because of its insane dps
Yeah the svd is quite underrated from what I have heard. I tend to lean more to the mk 11 so I forget about it sometimes rip. Sks + lockers = 😈😈 lmao

QBU is the highest skill ceiling DMR, needs to be in S tier asap. it the DMR for snipers

SKS very different from the svd, svd12 does not exist
The svd 12 was a dmr dice thought Russia would adopt from the ak12 platform but never did. Not sure if I'm correct but I think the dragunov is based off ak47 platform and there is no dmr irl based on the ak12. But essentially yes it kind of is a dragunov as daegunkv is SVD
SKS reminds me so much of VSS from BFBC2, ye it is not automatic but spammy af. Only gun with I've made people constantly ragequit and call me a hacker

Good allrounder, even on long range, best DMR in my opinion.
M39
With PKA-S, magnifier, heavy barrel, and angled grip.
Seems to run good on short to medium range.
The other DMR's tho really seem to be kinda all the same, no big differences.

And the SKS. Very underrated.
Much better than the M39 in shorter ranges, but not as good as the SVD in longer ranges. But great in general.
Qbb and rfb are good for run and gun because they have higher accuracy while walking while the other rifles are more precise while standing. Meanwhile, the mk11 Mod has the highest accuracy, try it out
Years later BF4 is still my favorite game
I just wanna point out something nobody is talking about: DMRs are not actually Marksman rifles in game (due to the lack of high power optics). They're actually more like Battle Rifles in their use case. In fact, they're more related to the SCAR H than any of the sniper rifles. Even the SR338 is more separated from them than the SCAR H.
QBU feels like more of a gunslinging DMR. Fast fire rate & low recoil make it able to kill the fastest, but 10rnd mag tempers this. I get best results w/ a 1x dot sight, play by rapidly tapping on heads from close to med range

really strange for qbu, it's the only one i like, the only dmr i Can HS at 300m- and kill around 400m. really cool for engineering in silk road for ex.

MK 11 is a god gun. Especially if you go hunting snipers, they're dead before they know what hit them. Just keep in the 50-250 meters zone and you're good. DON'T go closer than 50 meteres unless you absolutely have to, you "can" do it but you lose your advantage and every decent player with a full auto gun is gonna melt you before you can hit that 3rd shot. And don't spam it, you are not gonna hit anything spaming it.
FACTS definitely noticed that while recording. Snipers were always the best target. Cool looking gun too

@@Shappy You have to figure out "THE RHYTHM" (highest firerate possible while keeping spread as managable as possible) with dmr's. Once you figure that out people gonna curse you in chat.😂 Also, don't always fire at a target as soon as you see them, wait for the best moment and don't give'em time to shoot back. If you wanna go full tryhard slap a FLIR on it on maps like outbreak or any map with a lot of bushes (same for LMG's with bipod btw). I was pretty trash in bf4... until I "discovered" the DMR's (and LMG's).

I used every DMR and none disappointed me. If i want something to spam ? RFB or SKS. Long range ? Scar or Mk11, all the others fall in between which is fine to me. Theres something about kills with the QBU which is extra satisfying to me tho
Qbu has the highest velocity (670) and even highest velocity of the supressed (380) nothing it faster than 380 while supressed

SCAR H SV, on a large map, playing conquest for me, is the go-to weapon of choice. No matter what role I decide to play. The ACE 53 SV I would also use as well, but I had a night scope fitted. In the Flood Zone, some chaps were camping atop the water tower, and I was by the stairs close to the on-ramp near the CCP Army base. I'd been hit previously and respawned with the trusty SCAR H SV. The happy camper was taken out with two rounds. DMRs are great for close encounters and those at a distance. SCAR H SV Medium scope with heavy barrel and long hand grip worked best.

I use the RFB only, more or less, dont know why really haha. Maybe i should try something else...but i genrally do pretty good with it tbh.
I played BF4 back in 2015-2018, and I never really enjoyed the DMR's, I played alot of close quarters objectives like Rush and Domination so my preferred weapon was a shot gun or an assault rifle in 90% of my engagements.
I picked up BF4 again recently, and there arent many domination and rush maps so ive been forced to play alot of conquest, Ive been playing around with the SVD-12 alot, and its been really clutch at long, medium and even close range engagements. Definitely the best DMR ive tested so far.
i like the sks for smaller maps like operation locker and the svd for larger maps like golmud
played first time today with dmr all i can say i dropped 50 kills on start how is that even legal in this kind of game
not sure how the EMR with almost the same rof as the sks but with much better bullet velocity and slightly faster reload is 2 tiers below the sks. The emr is top tier without a doubt.
It's very versatile (and that's why it's my choice), the problem is that when using it at greater distances it's necessary to reduce the rate of fire, so that the spread reduces
MK11 and SVD are my favs
Mk11 mod 0 is so fucking nice. I love the tactical gameplay with it, just sitting somewhere and accurately hitting people from hundreds of meters away
Svd is definitely S tier imo

Scar H SV is the best overall if you can aim.
SKS, MK11 are the easiest to use and spammiest. Ace 53 is the most versatile.
I actually like sks for short ranges and svd for longer ones for me they are my S-tier DMRS the rest are shit maybe scar A tier

XV THE DEVIL smashed me a svd12 with a fckin flir from the other side of golmud map not once but a few times I'm fcuk if I know how he does it I tried but failed. .. but the svd12 seems OK since I been trying it out
The flir is a great pairing with any dmr so that definitely helps
While I enjoy the Scar and Ace dmrs a ton, for some reason I used the RFB the most out of the dmrs. No reason, just kinda there lol

all of them are really excelling un two tasks, giving 10pts suppression bonus and hitmarkers. so you Can set a suppressor and go playing airsoft with tour friends. dmr assignents are a pain in thé ass as need 50 HS, and they don't even kill in one HS. aaaaaaaahhhhh

some tips on how to get weapons fast?
1) Find a close-quarters map. 2) Equip the appropriate weapon category. 3) Grind.
General tip for doing better, USE THE MINIMAP. I peek at it almost every single time I reload, and my performance improved immediately when I finally picked up on that.

Where does QBU stand?
It is a mystery, back when I played BF4 a ton some years back, QBU was my favorite DMR. I used heavy barrel and angled foregrip for it and took on snipers and others at medium range. I played again over a week ago and realized I'm completely terrible and my aim sucks since I haven't really played FPS games in quite awhile. I'd still rate it fairly highly at least A tier but others like the SCAR-H SV and ACE 53 SV are better overall. I really wish DICE would've at least given the QBU a larger mag size before they completely abandoned the game.

too bad i could only unlock up to the sks. i dont do well with dmrs...
SKS is solid weapon choice to unlock all other DMR's
When I was recording this gameplay the sks was just a different level. Probably got 10-15 more kills on average than the other dmrs
