It's worth mentioning that at some point, either No Step Back or Battle for the Bosphorus, stealing blueprints used to give 300% research boosts and 1-2 year ahead of time penalty reductions. It seems that PDX has taken the word 'nerf' a little too seriously 😂😂
Im unsure, but I believe they just changed it so you have to spy on a major to get them, and you can still get those 10% bonuses as well, its just rng. Stealing industry tech can sometimes be very powerful, but the rng is, well, very annoying. In addition, you can steal techs that you dont have and the country youre spying on has, so to make industrial stealing worthwhile, you have to tech all industry techs yourself as well. And the same goes for other techstealing, tho I only ever done industry. Alternatively, you couls try and get your industry techs predominantly by stealing if youre down on research and slots from the get go.
You can still get it. Do the agency upgrade, and hire two safe cracker spies. That will guarantee a bonus outcome in your mission. I did the mission three times against Germany as the Pope, and got the 300 percent bonus, two years ahead of time outcome every time.
Is very random. Sometimes you get 10%. And every load unload give that same bonus. Sometimes you load next day 2 year front. Mostly will lock on one direction give you lots of one type of bonus. Is definitely S-A tier. Let be clear most national focus give you 100% bost this give you 300% or 2 year at front.
@@abokadohoi4 given the steps needed to set it up, I think a good compromise would be a single 100% bonus in whatever the most researched tree is for the target in the selected research type. Strong enough to be worthwhile, weak enough to not trivialize doing your own research work
Ghost divisions is indeed kinda good in MPs since players are more cautious than aggressive and you can sometime mentally dominate a player by abandoning your entire front and placing ghost divisions along their frontline. For me, ghost divisions is more of a trolling/memeing
I use it when manpower is low because the AI literally won't attack them if you combine them with crappy defense divs. Great for Poland if the Soviets attack your rear while you're pushing Germany.
False intelligence does actually have one single player use. If you put it on the front line, theres a chance that the enemy's AI will think there's too many divisions to win and just will not attack. So if you need to defend territory but don't have the divisions this is pretty good.
I would give infiltrating civ a fair S tier just for 50 pp that is given as a bonus that wasn’t mentioned in the video. And if you have 2 seducers/hatmen this chance is 75%. In fact that is a huge amount of pp nearly every 4 months that is impactful for many countries.
And for Navy/Air Force, Infiltration's boost to Intel makes your own naval and air forces that much more powerful: the former will let you manually position your fleet to tighten the noose on spotted enemies, the latter will do so automatically
The infiltrate navy one is straight up necesary in any multiplayer or meta naval build, the ability to see what missions and where the enemy fleet is makes your naval micro unstoppable. I've beaten fleets in multiplayer 4 times my size just by using Intel to move around and pick them apart, or learn in which ports the ships are repairing and bombing them Mil and airforce are also really good because of the Intel advantages. Overal intelligence is incredibly fun and necesary in multiplayer games specially if you know what your doing. But like in real life, naval intelligence will make or break a naval war
It's also just nice being able to count out how many dang ships your enemy has: if you have a naval battle where they deploy 3 carriers, and you know they have 4, that means there's another one still slinking around somewhere... And ONLY one. So if you can find that lone carrier and attack it while it's not in the group, you can hobble their sea power AND air power in one fell swoop
Let's be honest, in SinglePlayer HoI4 Spy system is nothing but a "collaboration government" button, everything else just doesn't exists. I'd really like to believe that other buttons in Spy system doesn't exists and thats just a big photoshop conspiracy, thats how bad everything else is 😅
Try Coup in Portugal as like Germany so you can send volunteers to win, then have them join your faction for the tungsten. Or once they are fascist just invade them because nobody will guarantee them.
To be fair if you get good blueprint stealers as operatives you do get good buffs, like a year ahead bonus for any industry tech or infantry and so on, it can make you reach things like construction 4 super early if done right
The coup is useful if you strike with it. Imagine what will happen if you declare war or the country you're using the coup declares on you... And then they are in a civil war. *They're done. That's it.*

Don't the investigate army, AF and navy missions give extra Intel after? Sometimes it's worth it, especially peeking in on focuses (Germany when forming AH for example). Otherwise completely agree with the list.
The steal blueprints missions could be good on Britain if you use it like three, four or five times against Germany, which will limit bad luck and optimize good winnings. You don’t have the colab government on democratic nations so you can do that before the war start, and your industry or army research will be better.
I should’ve mentioned, after ever 1-2 blueprint missions, you have to redo infiltrate civilian administration which makes the whole thing take even longer
The thing with Collaboration Government is that you need to have a good early industry (at least 18 civilians if you want at least 5 factories to build) because if you want to start this operation, it uses 13 factories for 90 days! Plus you need 2000 infantry equipment in your inventory so good luck... Then again, apart from China/Soviet Union or the United States that have a huge territory, I don't know why you'd need it and if you're facing one of these, you probably have a decent industry. Or you're Fascist Canada in 1938😂

I agree, stealing blueprints could be good against someone you know is rushing certain techs deep in the tech tree, planting false intelligence could lead to a shifting of troops against someone who actually thinks leaving an opening to exploit, capture cipher is good against a human with maxed or near maxed cipher defense since it is a flat percentage, coordinated strike can give the upper hand when facing off against stronger opponents giving a short window to even the playing field, and strengthen resistance can cause massive problems with logistics of an invading force if you are being pushed in open terrain. They all feel situationally strong, but most of these situations only occur when facing human opponents since the AI is so inept at a majority of the game's features.
