@@acerothstein4697 Too many questions marks for me to have confidence in Penix at the pro level of Football. The way he slings the ball puts abnormal pressure on his elbow that will pop and he will be done.
So fun watching Penix Jr. Just throw dimes, he's so incredibly accurate. Penix and Odunze are straight up disgusting with the pass game. Mondays gonna be epic. GO DAWGS!!! UW
The best two QB's in the draft appear to be Caleb Williams and Michael Penix. Drake Maye looked overmatched against Clemson and Miami. Caleb Williams looked great at Oklahoma and his first season at USC. Michael Penix has something unique and special about him. He has a calm demeanor in the pocket and a very quick release after he makes his decision.
I agree! I watched Daniels and Maye and come away with ok there good prospects but they jump off the screen like Williams and Penix do. I think Williams should be #1 and Penix #2 from there then you could go Daniels or Maye. Another guy worth checking out is the Tulane QB Michael Pratt. Very underrated player
NFL players are calling him a baller, which he is and has been his entire college career. Now, not only is he a baller, but his experience and talent have come together to make him a complete football player.
People are calling this guy immobile and need their eyes checked. His movement skills are top notch. You don't need to run a 4.5 to be mobile, you just need to not be a statue like a Mac Jones or someone like that. At Indiana and in HS he was a legit dual threat QB and while he doesn't have the same speed, he can still scoot at a Mahomes level.
Loved Jr the first time I saw him at IU and the lost VS OSU! Thought he was the best QB on the field! Jr has suffered some ACL injuries since! But if he falls out of 1st round? I hope The Bears snatch him up!
i’m looking at his draft breakdowns n their tellin me he cant move in the pocket or change launching points n that he can only throw one velocity n has no touch passes .. all i learned frm that was they never watched the tape
Washington has faced and beat 5 better running backs than the likes of michigan and blake corum statistically and its no being talked about Washington has ran the gauntlet with 7 top 25 wins. Washington is going to win the natty and there defense will suprise everyone. 42-21 washington
For one thing nobody cares about football in Washington. I grew up in Washington and can say they get less press because the fans are so few and the average person doesn’t care about Washington football win or lose
You and your ranked wins. Wins over teams that aren’t ranked at the end of the season aren’t ranked wins. Both Washington and Michigan have beaten four ranked team, Washington beat Oregon twice, but the average ranking at the end of the season the Michigan four were higher ranked.
@@matthewhuszarik4173 Well if we are going to look at it like that way, might as well take this into account; Alabama just took Michigan to overtime, and Texas beat Alabama in Alabama, and Washington just beat Texas, while the Texas defense had no answer for the Washington offense, so all that sums up to Washington > Michigan. 😂😂 nah it should be a good game though! You couldn’t ask for a better match up! Two great teams with completely opposite playing styles.
@@Maldrewnado You do know there is no such thing as a transitive property in college football. Obviously you are either a fool or very new to college football.
I’ve never seen someone with a shittier throwing motion make it look so damn easy. If my Raiders end up with him I just pray they keep him upright and healthy!
Oh I hope the Raiders draft this guy! He’s lethal!! I’ll buy his jersey day 1 even though I’ve said I wouldn’t buy anymore rookie jerseys based off our last 10 drafts. We either trade them away or they’re busts. Jacobs (for now) and Crosby are the exceptions. Either way I really hope we draft Penix!
Not every QB projected to go in the first round is good. 1 or 2 might be good, the rest will be average or busts. Whoever the Bears draft wikk be a bust, Unless they are traded
LMAO! Do you know the definition of a noodle arm is or were you not watching? Dude is known for a canyon of an arm and when he missed throws is because he overthrows them.
Those are the guys who play until they are old. And thats what you want for your franchise. Look at stroud vs richardson. The best ability is availability and one style gets dinged significantly more than the other
@NeumaSeven dumbest comment I'm just seeing what I see from the highlight film he has a good arm and accuracy throwing the ball but I don't see the escape ability that much or that much running out the pocket like Tua.
@johndavis6719 what game were you watching. You escaped a number of times. You need to watch this video again because clearly you missed a bunch of plays. He never got sacked. They never even touched him.
Make sure to subscribe, I’ll be covering 2024 draft prospects all off-season.
He is a great player. He is super accurate with his passes, and he extends plays. He will play in the NFL.
This man is a very special thrower of the football. The accuracy on the deep balls is absolutely insane
When he faced a real defense In Michigan...he sucked big time.
Sure did. Still think he'll be a good pro when it's all said and done...( if he can stay healthy)

The throw Penix made at 1:35 was insane , the way he manipulates the pocket to get throws off is top tier.
I think you meant 1:31 ..?
Left hand throwers look so weird....this is beautiful
My only concern with Penix from this game is that the way he slides genuinely scares me 😂
Im ready to see Penix vs Michigan

This was the best performance of any quarterback in the 2023 college football season.
bro is so damn accurate 💯💯
He's like a left handed Aaron Rodgers. He has that flick that can't be taught.
Well 10" hands don't hurt.😮😅😊
If this gentleman can stay up right, it’ll be a pleasure to watch him sling it at the next level.
Dude’s a DAWG!!!!🟣🟡🐺
He'll be a solid NFL backup for years at the very least.

Penix is very skilled at avoiding the rush enough to get a pass downfield. And his throws are like a guided missile.
He showed the world that's not a problem
They say he’s not accurate too!!! See I can do that too
You know Mahomes is only as fast as peyton manning right. They both run 4.8

That knee scares the hell out of me.
If Penix drops out of the first round like a lot of draftniks are projecting, someone will have a steal on their hands.
:43 is the most impressive to me, evades pressure and throws a laser 25yds
I noticed that Sweat didn't play a lot of the second half and when he was in there he was gassed.
Probably gassed from years of stuffing his face with butter and sugar.
I guess you can say UW made him "sweat" a lot! 😬😬😬
He has a weird throwing style but he definitely makes it work.
It looks like a flick more than a wind-up so he can still get the ball out quick

With the #13 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft… the Las Vegas Raiders select… Michael Penix Jr. University of Washington 😎😎🏴☠️🏴☠️
Lets get it bro, people want us to trade up for Daniels or Williams. Hell no, take Penix, McCarthy or Nix and build around them
He’s gonna be a top 10 qb in a few years I guarantee it
Penix looks like he's throwing a baseball.
Penix is good but the thing that stands out to me is how loose the Texas coverage was. Did they have that little faith in their rush?
