Atmosphere is unmatched. Aggies held on to all the recruits they were targeting as well. Earned a top 10 recruiting class, I have much more confidence in Elko to develop this class than previous regimes.
If I were playing college ball, I wouldn't want to play at TAMU. Luckily, Texas didn't keep it a close game. LSU saw what happens if you let this crowd stay relevant.
Aggie fan here... Honestly I'm sick of the bullshit. Just win games. Come in quietly, don't say a word, no music, let the crowd cheer but stfu and play ball. Tired of all the pregame hype resulting in an offensive shutout.
Crowd really only helps the defense. Texas whipped A&Ms ass but still got held to 17 with multiple turnovers and a pick 6. Texas dominated A&M offense.
Something I think is really important to remember: we’ve waited 13 years for this moment. Yeah, the scoreboard was a nice touch don’t get me wrong. But just PLAYING this game again is an awesome experience. Aggies, y’all have a passion and energy unlike anywhere in the SEC or College football or maybe all of American sports as a whole.
