Yes, good job, I am replacing my glove box with a Tuffy glove box with a lock. Thank for showing how to remove the old piece of crap one. The Tuffy is a good way to go for security
Really helpful to know where the hidden retaining bolts are. I was going mad. Word to the wise folks, the top bolt on the right of the glove box was a tricky one! It was -2 and dark when I tried so probably not the best decision!
My YJ is a 95. Those four nuts in the back are small bolts on mine, maybe 3/16 with a head made for a 1/4 inch socket. They were hard to turn the whole way out. Also on the inboard side the A/C would have to come down to gain access. I replaced the top dash pad and two of the screws are behind the glove box.
Great video, any chance you could make a video on how to remove / replace the YJ dash frame mount? I've been looking everyone for a video and cant' find one.
Matt Brodie I currently only have a TJ, used to have a YJ and want to get another one. Definitely plan on doing a lot of Jeep Wrangler vids...YJ and TJ
I’m trying to remove grab bar from my glove box on my 2001 Jeep Wrangler to install a cellphone holder/soda I’ve taken the Two nuts off but the bar is still tight I don’t want break anything I’d appreciate any suggestions
