    YESSS! Another data center Video!!!! BTW have you got a video where you show your network teaming thing on your switches.

      Teaming at the VMware level? :)

      Yea and on the switches or do you only have to team vmware side. Could you also recommend a budget router, yet something that could handle Gigabit traffic.

    How bad is the power draw on the PowerEdge R620? Or, is that even in this video? I'd think it was hiding behind the R720? I'm curious because we've got sort of a datacenter thing going on here as well ...

    Hey there: That is a cool network system that you have at your home. But any way I would like to have some small setup at my home too. And also could you tell me how can I get my 24 port patch panel & have a netgear nighthawk router downstairs I have some cat5 wire in some parts of the house. But I would like to know if you can tell me or HELP me out

    just a tip try and figure out a way to not get your Ethernet cable to bend so drastically at the switches as the min bend radius is 1 inch which that is more that, it is almost bent to an angle

      thank you yeah the cables are little iffy ill need to do some restructuring but for now since i do not move the cables at all once they are already plugged they should be okay :)

    How is your 720 so quiet? My 710 is super loud (unless the generation gap is the reason)

      Try updating your firmware with the " Dell Bootable Update utility"

      I think it is the generation; Dell is amazing how they did that. At least you can hear them still ... if not, then there would really be a problem. At least for some one who gains life energy from running Dell PowerEdge Servers ...

    is ur hypervisor server connected to computers or something??? I'm really confused with hypervisor servers and how they work in real world like in data center..

    why don't you own your own modem instead of paying a monthly fee?

    • @Virtualbytes1
      @Virtualbytes1  7 років тому

      its business class - when i asked them they do not allow you to purchase the modem.

    • @Shweezy1
      @Shweezy1 7 років тому +1

      A great friend of mine was able to use his own modem when he had business class. That's why I ask.

    • @Virtualbytes1
      @Virtualbytes1  7 років тому +1

      Yeah :) it be nice to have my own

    • @emmanueltechnologyconsulti5286

      If he has a static ip Comcrap does not allow you to use your own modem. There's no technical reason for it.

    • @Shweezy1
      @Shweezy1 7 років тому

      Emmanuel Technology Consulting when I switched to my own modem my speed changed drastically. and I have a more stable connection now. But I know people who have static ip's and use their own modem instead of a isp provided one.
