I don't know how common knowledge this is, but Warly's quotes about mushtrees changed drastically between Single Player and DST. He borderline worshipped them in Solo, but acts more restrained when other survivors might be around to hear him.

A deep dive into WX would be great. They're (supposedly) a soulless automaton and proud hater but after reading some of their quotes my headcanon is that they're actually the Constant's edgy teen. Like a 14 y/o who "only eats Unhappy Meals, mom!". Just read their critter quotes, they're trying *so* hard to appear cold and heartless and failing miserably.
I love wormwood even though 90% of his quotes are just him coming up with babyish names for things he doesn't recognize. It cracks me up when I examine some reeds and he just goes "haircut" so matter of factly. he's a funny little man. I'd love if you were to give him some more attention in future installments, even if it might be a bit difficult ._.
I'd love to see more of wanda's personality in her skilltree animation, because right now being the newest addition we"ve got her backstory and not much else. Pd also would be interesting if her quotes changed depending of her age
If you do make a part 3 of character interactions, then chack out the examination quotes for the Crab King statue! There's a surprising number of survivors comparing it to Maxwell because of how crabby he is, including one for Maxwell indignantly exclaiming "I'm not crabby!"

one thing i'd like to see you dive into is all of the survivors "victorious" costume sets and imagine what would have happened for them to end up on the shadow throne and how the constant changes under their specific rule. maybe victor wormwood makes it illegal to hurt plants, maybe victor wigfried removes all vegetables, etc

As a wormwood main, Woodies are great to have around. They chop trees, then give you the acorns to plant. It’s a symbiotic relationship (as long as wormwood is off-screen when Woodie chops trees)
Im so happy to have found your vids on this topic, I absolutely ADORE these little interactions and tidbits. Some of Woodie's I really enjoy! To one of Warly's dishes, he'll say that he and Lucy will do the cleaning up since Warly cooked. I believe it's Willow's reaction to a reviver Woodie, she says something along the lines of him having syrup in his veins, cause he's so sweet. Another line to a reviver Woodie, though I can't remember from who, was that he has a sweet/soft spot a mile wide! Also neat little interaction with Lucy, when Wendy talks to Woodie, she'll mention that Abigail likes Lucy more. A few other survivors also say hi to Lucy directly, Max does, I think
One interaction I would love to see but we would never get is Wurt and Wilba. I can imagine Wurt hating her with the whole pig and merm thing but Wilba wants to be friends with Wurt. Possibly getting bullied by Wurt at times but is nice to her regardless. Possibly a few rare quotes where Wurt does feel a bit bad about being so mean to her.
I imagine them more like rivals , doing all they can to out shine each other . I could imagine them keeping scores , when for example Wurt revs Wilba or somthing .
This is an asbolute ramble + p sure none if it is rly supported in canon, but... I like the idea that maybe Wickerbottom was grumpy and closed off pre-Constant maybe as a result of being lonely/maybe not having a lot of family. I mean, her short doesn't hint to much, and she seems to treat the last guy she escorted from the library very stiffly/professionally. Maybe she had family who moved away, or she never married, or so on, and had always really wanted to be a grandmother? It just is a lovely idea to think she found the family she may have secretly always wanted in the survivors.

While I'm a little sad one of my favorite interaction didn't make the cut, it was still super fun to see all the other unique character interactions that was missed in the last video! Been having a huge blast with all the character related vids lately always look forward to them. Really hope you do consider making those little deep dives on the individual survivors would love to see that.

When Wortox examines a Wes player he'll say something along the lines of "Let's practice our act!", or will say "Those punches weren't part of the bit!" if a Wes player attacks him, Implying the two of them do acts together for fun/entertainment.
I think it would be hilarious if Wartox asked Wes how he knows magic, and Wes just looks at him in shock, thinking he was just making everyone feel a little better.

One thing that’s very cute with Wendy is that she loves to create and draw. She has quotes for the Feathered pencil and the pottery wheel. Her depressive demeanor cracks for her love of making things.
loving these videos, it tickles my two favorite DST fandom things: obsessively reading dialog and talking about the survivor's relationships! also: "mx." is sometimes pronounced like "mucks", to help it sound more different from "miss" when spoken aloud. if you ever touch upon how other survivors speak to WX-78 you may want to use the other pronunciation so there's no potential confusion? not sure if you've done something like this yet, but what about a general character personality/quote analysis video? like, picking one survivor and going through their quotes and talking about interesting things in their personality. i used to daydream about making videos where i just infodump about how sweet wickerbottom is LMFAO. but i will never do it, so please do it in my steed. SORRY FOR THE LONG ASS COMMENT ANYWAY HERE'S SOME RANDOM CHARACTER THINGS YOU MIGHT LIKE TO MENTION in a video or w/e: - have you ever noticed how wendy seems to hold herself back from enjoying cute things? an example is her examination quote for some of the toys from the cawnival event; can't check rn but i know she at least holds herself back with the tiny ferris wheel. - a video on all the survivors' opinions/knowledge about lucy could be cool. for example, maxwell seems to pay special attention to her?? - have you ever seen that winter's feast art/comic that depicts the survivors fighting deerclops? it's SO cute and rich with character interactions: wickerbottom patching wilson up afterwards, everyone happily drinking eggnog after, wx-78 playing with ornaments... :)
THOUGHT OF ANOTHER ONE: wanda loves funny hats! she consistently says stuff like "that looks ridiculous, let me try it on" in regards to the balloon hat and just about every other hat
I don’t want to trigger any shipping wars, but I think if the survivors got out of the constant and Webber changed back I think Wendy and Webber would eventually get married. They’re interactions come off as very genuine and caring for each other since they both had a tragic event. Wickerbottom would totally adopt Wurt as well.
Also webber and wendy play hide and seek as seen with their quotes for the magician chest (something like can we use it for hide and seek?-webber no you cant use it its cheating-wendy)
It's worth noting that, when inspecting roasted toma roots, Winona makes a reference to the 1987 novel "Fried Green Tomatoes" which is about two (heavily implied to be sapphic) women who run a cafe together :)
Idk if they have dialogue about this, but I headcannon that Willow could see Wickerbottom as somehow a parent figure imo, but she wont admit in any hypothesis.
In regards to dark vs enlightened merm timelines, I think it's interesting that it implies that Alter is in some way worse than Them, but ends up failing for some reason or another most of the time which results in Them winning by default. As if Them is the lesser of the two evils, with Alter being way worse whenever a timeline goes in it's favor.
We need more Wolfgang representation. This man has not a single ounce of black in his heart. He's friends with everybody (his soliloquy on the stage is the most adorable thing ever). He cares about everyone, even if he's a bit scared of some of them. One of the vignettes in the game even so much so mentions that Wolfgang thinks his luck finally turned for the better when the met the others, not even when he got his wish. Even if his pride is massive, he still takes into consideration of the others, like coaching. Really he just wants to be everyone's friend.
Personally I would love a Winona video!! No good reason other than I just used to LOVE the drama with her and Maxwell, and all the different ways that their relationship can be interpreted, especially right after she was released. I saw some people portray Winona as one of the only survivors who would stick up for Maxwell, as she never had to go through the lonely trials of singleplayer. On the flipside, I've seen her and Maxwell portrayed as bitter rivals who argue at every opportunity. Maybe touch on her (implied) interactions with Wagstaff and WX as well? The fact that she's the only survivor who can identify the trinkets that Wagstaff's minigame asks you to get is interesting. Also Genny. I like to think she was given a name (and therefore some level of importance to Winona) for a reason :)
I think the 'Mx. WX' bit is more a sly joke at how Maxwell is the only survivor whose name doesn't begin with W (ignoring his birth name), but does start with M, which visually is an inverted W.
Here’s a potential thing for the non-DST characters. Obviously there’s not much for them, but Wolfgang’s quote for Wilbur is “Welcome, friend! Haha!” which, while may just be for Wolfgang’s general friendliness, could imply that maybe Wolfgang was already friends with this monkey. It could be possible that Wilbur was a trained monkey from the circus Wolfgang was in.
Damn, all these characters seem really cheerful, I wonder what the quotes for a depressed character who's life fell apart in front of their eyes, ending up on the street traumatized and poor.
I would love to see a Wendy video, I feel like she has changed so much since the original Don't Starve days. She is also such a gloomy character in her individual interactions in the Constant (outside of things involving Abigail, of course) that seeing her progress towards a happier state of mind due to the other survivors influence would be a lovely arc to see. 🥰🌸👻
quick note about 8:00, it's specifically warly, wortox, wormwood, and wurt who have quotes for the forge (and maybe the gorge? i can't remember.) walter and wanda reuse wilson's lines (outside of being revived, which i don't have any good answers for why those specifically are unique.) If you want my guess as to why those four have unique lines, the monster characters were just done because whoever was writing enjoyed doing them, and warly probably was future proofing as you mentioned.
Its not other survivors but i love wortoxes interactions with non survivor creatures. Like when inspecting an active burney he says "Good sir, are you aware you've no soul?"and a broken burney he says "He seemed a fine chap." Also i adore his pet inspections being Varglet- "Sorry I can't pet you, little friend." Ewelet- "Just know that I'm petting you in my mind."

I’m surprised you never mentioned Wilson and willow. Not only are they the two that have appeared in the most animations together, they also share the most promo art, they even sing together twice. So they’re probably friends. Wilson is initially remarks how how it’s interesting that Bernie moves around before seeing him in his large form and saying “remind me not to get on willows bad side” Wilson says he doesn’t do well with spice, willow makes mention on how much she loves spice. Willow has the line “Ew ew ew EW” at the beard hair rug. At the regular beard hair she says "Clean up your gross hair guys! Ugh!" Wilson’s “again?” At willows fire arson and willow will offer to help him his he performs arson.

One interaction I would love to see but we would never get is Wurt and Wilba. I can imagine Wurt hating her with the whole pig and merm thing but Wilba wants to be friends with Wurt. Possibly getting bullied by Wurt at times but is nice to her regardless. Possibly a few rare quotes where Wurt does feel a bit bad about being so mean to her.
I imagine them more like rivals , doing all they can to out shine each other . I could imagine them keeping scores , when for example Wurt revs Wilba or somthing .
This is an asbolute ramble + p sure none if it is rly supported in canon, but... I like the idea that maybe Wickerbottom was grumpy and closed off pre-Constant maybe as a result of being lonely/maybe not having a lot of family. I mean, her short doesn't hint to much, and she seems to treat the last guy she escorted from the library very stiffly/professionally.
Maybe she had family who moved away, or she never married, or so on, and had always really wanted to be a grandmother? It just is a lovely idea to think she found the family she may have secretly always wanted in the survivors.

While I'm a little sad one of my favorite interaction didn't make the cut, it was still super fun to see all the other unique character interactions that was missed in the last video! Been having a huge blast with all the character related vids lately always look forward to them. Really hope you do consider making those little deep dives on the individual survivors would love to see that.

When Wortox examines a Wes player he'll say something along the lines of "Let's practice our act!", or will say "Those punches weren't part of the bit!" if a Wes player attacks him, Implying the two of them do acts together for fun/entertainment.
I think it would be hilarious if Wartox asked Wes how he knows magic, and Wes just looks at him in shock, thinking he was just making everyone feel a little better.
Oh, I'd love a Wes deep dive... he's my favorite and deserves more love!!! Webber would also be cool :3c !

Wilson is my personal favourite and I’d LOVE to see a video about him! There’s a lot to talk about. I have a headcanon that he still holds a massive grudge against Maxwell still and is very alarmed by the fact none of the other survivors do.

also: "mx." is sometimes pronounced like "mucks", to help it sound more different from "miss" when spoken aloud. if you ever touch upon how other survivors speak to WX-78 you may want to use the other pronunciation so there's no potential confusion?
not sure if you've done something like this yet, but what about a general character personality/quote analysis video? like, picking one survivor and going through their quotes and talking about interesting things in their personality. i used to daydream about making videos where i just infodump about how sweet wickerbottom is LMFAO. but i will never do it, so please do it in my steed.

- have you ever seen that winter's feast art/comic that depicts the survivors fighting deerclops? it's SO cute and rich with character interactions: wickerbottom patching wilson up afterwards, everyone happily drinking eggnog after, wx-78 playing with ornaments...

I don’t want to trigger any shipping wars, but I think if the survivors got out of the constant and Webber changed back I think Wendy and Webber would eventually get married. They’re interactions come off as very genuine and caring for each other since they both had a tragic event.

It's worth noting that, when inspecting roasted toma roots, Winona makes a reference to the 1987 novel "Fried Green Tomatoes" which is about two (heavily implied to be sapphic) women who run a cafe together :)

In regards to dark vs enlightened merm timelines, I think it's interesting that it implies that Alter is in some way worse than Them, but ends up failing for some reason or another most of the time which results in Them winning by default. As if Them is the lesser of the two evils, with Alter being way worse whenever a timeline goes in it's favor.
I love that Klei as a whole is a very progressive company, and they said they would jump on an opportunity to make an animated show of DST
We need more Wolfgang representation. This man has not a single ounce of black in his heart. He's friends with everybody (his soliloquy on the stage is the most adorable thing ever). He cares about everyone, even if he's a bit scared of some of them. One of the vignettes in the game even so much so mentions that Wolfgang thinks his luck finally turned for the better when the met the others, not even when he got his wish. Even if his pride is massive, he still takes into consideration of the others, like coaching. Really he just wants to be everyone's friend.

Personally I would love a Winona video!! No good reason other than I just used to LOVE the drama with her and Maxwell, and all the different ways that their relationship can be interpreted, especially right after she was released. I saw some people portray Winona as one of the only survivors who would stick up for Maxwell, as she never had to go through the lonely trials of singleplayer. On the flipside, I've seen her and Maxwell portrayed as bitter rivals who argue at every opportunity.
Maybe touch on her (implied) interactions with Wagstaff and WX as well? The fact that she's the only survivor who can identify the trinkets that Wagstaff's minigame asks you to get is interesting.
Also Genny. I like to think she was given a name (and therefore some level of importance to Winona) for a reason :)
I think the 'Mx. WX' bit is more a sly joke at how Maxwell is the only survivor whose name doesn't begin with W (ignoring his birth name), but does start with M, which visually is an inverted W.

Here’s a potential thing for the non-DST characters. Obviously there’s not much for them, but Wolfgang’s quote for Wilbur is “Welcome, friend! Haha!” which, while may just be for Wolfgang’s general friendliness, could imply that maybe Wolfgang was already friends with this monkey. It could be possible that Wilbur was a trained monkey from the circus Wolfgang was in.
Damn, all these characters seem really cheerful, I wonder what the quotes for a depressed character who's life fell apart in front of their eyes, ending up on the street traumatized and poor.
I would love to see a Wendy video, I feel like she has changed so much since the original Don't Starve days. She is also such a gloomy character in her individual interactions in the Constant (outside of things involving Abigail, of course) that seeing her progress towards a happier state of mind due to the other survivors influence would be a lovely arc to see. 🥰🌸👻
I would suspect that warly is less formal with wortox because wortox gets him ingredients from other dimensions with his teleporting
quick note about 8:00, it's specifically warly, wortox, wormwood, and wurt who have quotes for the forge (and maybe the gorge? i can't remember.) walter and wanda reuse wilson's lines (outside of being revived, which i don't have any good answers for why those specifically are unique.) If you want my guess as to why those four have unique lines, the monster characters were just done because whoever was writing enjoyed doing them, and warly probably was future proofing as you mentioned.
Its not other survivors but i love wortoxes interactions with non survivor creatures.

I’m surprised you never mentioned Wilson and willow. Not only are they the two that have appeared in the most animations together, they also share the most promo art, they even sing together twice. So they’re probably friends.
Wilson is initially remarks how how it’s interesting that Bernie moves around before seeing him in his large form and saying “remind me not to get on willows bad side”
Wilson says he doesn’t do well with spice, willow makes mention on how much she loves spice.
