True! Most of the time you think you're in love, but you're just in love with yourself. Your think he's funny but it's you who's funny. When you like him, you don't really see things as they are. That's why it's important to be disciplined and watch his actions at all times.

He’s right. When a man is tolerating you it’s because you’re a placeholder and he wants to play the field with various women. There should not be any reason why some man can tell a woman that she can only text/call him at certain times. The relationship should be reciprocal, and a man that truly wants a woman will never keep her guessing on whether he likes her or not. If you have to wonder, then he’s not for you. When a woman starts to truly love herself, she attracts a different type of guy. There are plenty of fish in the sea than to be dealing with some fool that doesn’t even want you. If he can have options, so can you.

Solid vid. When you get love right, trust should feel like a bookmark. What you and that person have is still going to be there when you get back from work and other obligations. These insecure attachment "relationships" you mention feel like constantly having to find the page again, not knowing where you stand and just trying to prove yourself constantly.

And honestly just when you start asking for anything significant, like I did, you get cut off. I think the guy I was talking to last yr was deliberately dragging his feet on flying me out to see him so I would finally relent and book a flight on my dime. Drop into my hotel paid for by yours truly for a booty call. I found out the information that he was in fact in a relationship and when I confronted him on it he refused to tell me the truth, stating his case, that it was , in fact, none of my business. Never is the operative word. Personally, I always think it's everyones biz to know if a person is taken, although I guess he is within his rights, having his reason(s), to hide it away, scrappy as it may seem ..Ty Kevin

So, this guy I was seeing long distance works in a busy hospital. He'd call me every night and talk to me for 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hours, then say he has to go and shut off his phone. Every single night, but he would let me know ahead of time when he'd be calling. It was confusing. It wasn't a good time for either of us to be dating, though, tbh.
