- Beware of this red flag when dating new guys. Women often ask me if they’re being bomb or what are signs that they’re being loved bombed. This is definitely one of them. Be extremely careful of men who do this. Men who push the pace for no apparent reason are either desperate or after something. When a man is loved by it is either because he’s desperate or because he has a plan. As funny as it may sound it’s better a desperate man, than a man who is plotting on you. @KevHick I was dating a guy for 6 months. At the 3 month mark, I had the "what are we doing?" talk with him. He said that he wanted to take things slow, he was still getting to know me. I didn't press the issue because he had recently finalized his second divorce and I've been in the process of a divorce for a year. At the 6 month mark, I said I needed more (emotionally) and pulled away. I felt like he was leading me on. I reneged after a week because I missed him. Why did I do that? He is now so cold. He told me that he would never make me "his girl" because I'm someone's wife on paper. That's BS. But it was the turn off I needed.
