Good to show how different organisations work together - especially our volunteer responders. Boating Safety is certainly everyone's responsibility and it of great when there is either a 'no casualty' or positive outcome. Great video showing the work that some of us do!
Thank you, it was great to see how everyone all worked together but that they clearly had their own separate roles that brought them all together as a team. 🙌 I see you film the Broads too, I’m now going to watch your videos 🛥️📸👋🏻
Well that was unexpected Lisa, so glad it was nothing serious, the current in the river is really strong just there at Reedham, and I wouldn't like to fall in there, I must say most of my attention was taken by that rangers launch, how beautiful is that little boat, imagine a job where you can cruise around in that all day, I missed my way I think, oh well too late now lol!, great video Lisa xxx
A beautiful boat. I think they 👮♀️ enjoyed their trip up the river. A wonderful job, think of the wildlife you’d see daily…. Think of the content 😉😅📸 thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed it.
Sobering stuff, glad it was something that is safe to put online and not a disaster. The broads largely give a feel of being safe - the broads boats are slow and the limits are low, you can cruise for hours happily waving at the passers-by, but if the portapotty hits the windmill, things can become tragedies so bleedin fast. Always good to have a plan, and hope not to need it. Bit grim that nobody (someone must have spotted that jacket?) on the water went to chuck a donut at the potential drowner and then go closer with a boat hook, but great that the Rangers are around and so well equipped!
Had it been an actual person, there would be no video. I see lots of things when I’m out but I don’t film anything that I shouldn’t. It’s just not right to do so. A jacket is a different story though 😅
Thankgoodness it was only a jacket after recent events on the water, but i suppose just a jacket could cause some issues if a boat ran over it and tangled the propellor up...!!!!

alot of nice broom boats on the river today , it looks like melody keeps following you 😅 , glad it was just a jacket that was found .
Gorgeous boats , a great place to watch them passing. I didn’t realise Melody was about, I’ll have to rewatch 😅🛥️

So glad it was just the jacket. Can’t believe we will be there in 10 days 👍
Not long now Hev x

Yes you are correct. Luckily the fire brigade swiftly removed it from the river . We are so lucky to have so many volunteer services here.
Bloomin heck !
Scary stuff. Had I been earlier I’d have seen the “body” floating past !
Hi ,hopefully we can catch up with you the first week in September. We are coming back for a week then for Sue's birthday.
Have a lovely week ☀️ ⛵️🛥️
Thank you Lisa, It might be our last visit, Sue is getting a lot worse now with her mobility.
@@NewnameSameme
I’m sorry to hear that Bob , send her my best wishes
@@NewnameSameme Will do, but We WILL continue to follow your adventures.
That’s very kind, thank you both
I have come across two bodies by the river, in Norfolk, one in it and the other hanging above it, not a pleasant at all….
Awful
Well I never , on a more serious note, I bet those guys have to pick up some pretty gruesome things at times. Hats off to them.
Absolutely, huge respect to them, as I couldn’t do it 🙌
a different video, but interesting.
You just never know what you’ll see when you’re out.
