So the coloured posts in breydon Water, do we know what they are for..? i'm guessing they show where to go and where not to go..i.e...always past between the red and green..!! ?

i think the ranger boat was stopping the private boat because they were going to paint the posts , it looked a lovely day there , just right for taking a picnic sat at the side of breydon.

Aaah , what a lovely surprise , he looked like he really enjoyed it , i think i would have been terryfied lol as ive never ever flown .

I also passed "No Surrender" too, on the Yare I believe. I can remember seeing that wreck when I was a youngster travelling with mum and dad. There has been a lot of publicity about the wearing of life jackets which is so important. I always think it as the boating equivalent of wearing a car seat belt! If you start mud larking you will never get any filming done...😂😂😂 How lucky you finally get to meet Hev. I hope she is now fully recovered from her injury last year. She always comes across as such a lovely person when you have the live chats. Have a great weekend.

What a fab experience for Peter’s birthday! We both watched that together and oh tried to explain to me why the propeller appeared at times to stop or go in reverse, to do with the camera compensating. I didn’t realise Ludham had an airfield let alone a wartime one.

Great video. Interestingly, in World War 2, Ludlum airfield was a fighter station, part of 12 Group and satellite station to RAF Coltishall. One of the pilots stationed there was the TV presenter Raymond Baxter, (for anyone old enough he was the main presenter of the Tomorrows World Programme) he flew in 602 squadron .

My partner bought me the full aerobatic experience with Tony as a Christmas present last year, just the best day ever, I loved every minute.

Looks like a good day Leasa. I used to fly out of Ludham occasionally with a friend of mine back in the days when I lived in the Village. Not much runway left now, but fortunately, light aircraft don't need too much space. There used to be a wonderful guy who restored Spitfires in the hanger. Amazing patience to rebuild them....rivet by rivet.

What a fantastic surprise for Peter. Judith certainly pulled off an amazing day to remember! It was extremely lucky the weather was so good for the flight and the views Peter must have seen.
