In 1980 after the eruption of Mt. St. Helens scientists said that it was the largest eruption in 30,000 years. We will never see anything close to the magnitude of that eruption at that location in our lifetimes.
The rocks spewed from Mount St. Helen's 44 years ago, have been scientifically tested to be 3.5 million years old. Why are we still listening to scientists ?
My family was having a family reunion in Wenatchee. They all had to wear masks but partied on lol .I have some crazy Pic. Of that reunion. There were people from all over the states and Canada.
That's a large lanai! The only ash that reached Seattle was a light dusting from an insignificant eruption in April of 1980, weeks before the big eruption in mid May.
Because the US government has nothing better to do, I suppose? So, does that mean we can blame president Jimmy Carter and governor Dixy Lee Ray for 1980's eruption? I knew it! Those goddamn democrats will stop at nothing to foment disruption and chaos! But!! if they really want to cause a public hysteria, wouldn't it be cheaper to invade New Jersey with drones?......Oh.
I noticed that too. "Discover Tube" is obviously unfamiliar with the proper enunciation of its subject matter. A typical trait of irresponsibly-sensationalist content whores.
How is this activity comparing to the other volcanoes in the area? Is Mt St Helens unique or is activity going on at the other mountains. Can it be put into perspective for the region?

Won't have to wait long
Never say never. Perhaps it could collapse and become a super volcano. Or just be a trigger for Yellowstone really it's all up to God

Don't bet your last bippy on that. That mountain hasn't been quiet since May 18, 1980. Just ask the USGS.
I lived in Fort McMurray Alberta when Mount St.Helens erupted. We had ash everywhere.
Dayton Ohio, we had a thin layer of ash on all the cars a couple of days after.
I saw the Mt. St. Helen's after it blew off its top! Quite powerful!
I remember this in the 80's I live in Montana and we had ash falling here from it..
"If". "Maybe". "Coming Soon". "On The Verge". Words of the click-baiter.

😢BACK IN THE 90S I WORKED NEAR THIS VOLCANO PLUS MOUNTAIN ADAMS❤GOD SAVE US
I lived in south Seattle and we could see it from our lanai that day. Ash was every where.

OUR OUR GOVERNMENT IS CAUSING THIS.

.Great sunsets that year. My friend tried to talk me into driving there and we would surely have been victims.
At 8:59 the plant is pronounced LUPINS not LUPINES

You're talking to a computer, dipsh*t !
Where are the diamonds?
A big enough ash cloud might cool the earth for a couple years
Scientist are wrong. They’ve been given last warnings ever since I was five years old now I was born in 1965 so you guys need new material.
Years, decades, thousands of years, terns of thousands of years obviously has no perspective on geologic time. 🙄
We have the perspective. Deep time only has the history.

THE CLIMATE-CHANGER GOD-ROCK KNOWS THAT THE EARTH HAS TWO MAJOR SEISMIC SHIFTS AND TWO MAJOR 50 YEAR CYCLES
EACH CYCLE IS A 25 YEAR PERIOD
I climbed it in 1997, up on the south rim was awe inspiring...but you better not get too close, false ledges made of snow...bye bye
I did to! Since the 90's, hundreds of feet have eroded away from the crater's rim in places. Its still the most unstable landscape in the Cascades!
Mt St Helen's are body parts ...
What's your point? That's not very respectful to the families of the 53 people who were killed by the 1980 eruption.
What !?;
What "what" ?
