For family based green card holders and above the age of 70 years, rules should change so that they can stay outside US for more than a year without Reentry Permit
I am a US citizen, my wife has a green card we are both over 70 years old. Why the US immigration does not have a policy for seniors green cardholders to remain over 12 months outside the US..we have done everything that a normal citizen does,--still, pay taxes, drawing Social security..and other things that prove even we are out we still return to the US,, of course, we are retired.-. we like to travel all over the world and remain over one or two years in other countries, I think they should amend these rules for Seniors over 70 years of age.. what shall I do to request this change of polices
Hello sir I have a quick question My mom is greencard holder and she stayed like 7yrs in Philippines because she got stroke here in u.s and she cant recognized us as her child but she recovered now and wanted to go back here in u.s but she has expired greencard.. can she still come back here u.s?

a legal resident, legal alien (green card) has all the rights and benefits of an American citizen, except certain government jobs and cant vote, only a citizen can vote, lots of Mexican citizens who have a green card who could live in the U.S., choose to live in Mexican border towns, like Tijuana and cross the border all the time, many for work, they just use an Address in the U.S., like lots of American citizens living in Mexico

Except they don't just take your US citizenship away. But they can take your green card away, sadly.
