Proliferate is a powerful mechanic and there are some cards out there that can ramp up your synergies. Sponsored by: www.coolstuffinc.com/ "Jumbo5" saves you 5% jumbocommander.com/ #SHORTS #MTG
Don’t forget the mana rocks that go crazy wit proliferate. Astral cornucopia. Everflowing chalice. Crystalline crawler. And the newest one replication ring
Same it goes great with vorinclex, winding constrictor and conclave mentor. Or if you play with a saga nonsense deck you can just use the full saga in a turn and if you play well enough in white/green you can replay them multiple times to go infinite sagas.
Honestly, War of the Spark was an amazing set for commander players just because of "cards that say proliferate", but especially these two repeatable triggers that synergize SO WELL with so many playstyles. Evolution Sage in Korvold with Evolving Wilds? Lol gg
I keep meaning to put Evolution Sage into Windgrace, but not poked at the list enough to figure out what to cut for it, so it's been lurking in the put it into the deck soon pile for ages. I do find most proliferate stuff slow, even in my Atraxa Maybe Friends deck. But still fun when things need to be nudged. One of my favorite pieces of tech being Throne of Geth. Since at the minimum it's 2 mana sac itself, proliferate. Sometimes it goes a little more if I can scrap up another artifact. But usually just sac itself, nudge a Planeswalker a moment more, and get off an ability that folks didn't think was online this turn.
@@dac314 I actually got around to making a couple edits to Windgrace after my comment here. Opened a Ragavan, Titania, and Ignoble hierarch, so worked them in. But just comparing the Sage to the cards in the deck, Each was stronger in its category than Sage kind of helping out 10 cards. With Pir being the most immediately comparable. And I like Pir more. Every other card is either rampier, immediate utility, or kind of sticky to attack through.
@@Jerhevon I know those cards are good, but think about how many triggers of proliferate you could have in a single, good turn. Minus 3 off Windgrace, return two sac lands, sac the lands, pull up two basics, and you're +1 net loyalty on your commander. That's without considering literally ANY other targets for proliferation, like other PWs or creatures with +1/+1s. If your opponents do not destroy the Evolution Sage, they will not win, the value is too real. That's just me tho, mang. It's a powerful card in Korvold, and he's not even as 'Land-Matters' as Lord Windgrace.
Good calls! Evo Sage and Plaguemaw Beast are in my Lord Windgrace lands matters deck. This deck also uses several other PWs and several token makers to protect them, so why not throw a 0/1 plant token away to proliferate everything
I run this in a mono-blue deck. Storage counters for mana-ramping, As Foretold allows you to play 1 spell each turn with mana cost less than or equal to the counters on it, it's a fun time.
I pulled a Vorinclex and still can't bring myself to use it. It is just so harsh for a commander deck... with my ozolith and poison counter cards, I just can't do it until I know I am going to be against someone who is playing to win.
I use flux channeler over the land one just because I have a roalesk deck and I need to proliferate my storage lands, so technically, tezerret's gambit is a ramp spell in that deck
On the topic of proliferate; I want to see an energy counter commander. I'm not entirely sure what the best colors would be, but from my experience with trying to build a Riku counter deck back in he day (swap out modules for energy, infect or others should they make more, like the Ikoria keyword counters), I'd say Bant are the colors for it. Green has a lot of payoff, and white has some. Blue is a good color for it, and it doesn't hurt that we then get the best colors for card draw, ramp, answers and removal. I really wonder what that commander would look like. My personal preference would be that they are they payoff for having energy counters, and not just the engine for it. Generally a commander falls under, let's say, three categories; the payoff for a strategy, the engine for a strategy, or just general good stuff. This changes depending on what you want to do with your deck. But I like commanders that have a lot of activated abilities, letting you use the resources you've gathered throughout the game.
Planeswalkers are LOYALTY counters. =) I wish there were more badass monogreen pwalkers with game ending ultimates. I tried vorinclex as edh commander but ugin is the only actual good ult. The rest are ok...to bad...but nothing game ending. Throw doubling season in and a bunch of things that want counters...it was fun and fast...just not a good way to end the game... I guess karn liberated ult counts as game ending but not really =/ I should make the decklist public but its on my pc for when I play forge
45 seconds of just setup so he can flex on us about his last game.
Oh no, he's spreading awareness of a really awesome mechanic, now EVERYONE is going to run it for like a week straight
Proliferate is so open-ended I’m surprised the demand hasn’t spiked through the roof. Luckily the cards are printed in quantity. 👌🧐
Evolution Sage with Splendid Reclamation is my jam. Dropping 10 landfall triggers gets so much fun.
Proliferate is how so many people used to "let" me ult narset, transcendent
Been playing proliferate I'm cEDH since 2012. It's always been my go to.
“I ACCPET ALL THE COUNTERS”

I love proliferate. It's definitely my favorite mechanic in the game.

the scenario at the end is one of my wincons in my golgari super friends deck 😅 LOVE our sage friend!
Planes walkers have loyalty counters
You missed a sneaky shot out to [[ Magistrates Scepter]] Infinite turns in any color.
Ya know what other counter like Proliferate? Energy! Seriously, Simic Energy is, in my opinion anyway, really fun to use.
As much as i didn't love all will be one the instants and sorceries that just had it stapled to them was pretty sweet all the way down to common
Proliferate was the best thing to ever happen to my U/R charge counter deck.... besides coretapper. Love that little dude.
Yes, Coretapper is so good!
Planeswalkers have loyalty, not experience...
Lore counters on sagas. I love managing lore counters to apply the efects I want multiple times
Don't forget to proliferate your depletion lands. Constantly have a land that taps for 2 of a colour for very cheaps
I really wish I had picked up more of those back when they werent worth anything but they are great and the handful I have will have to do for now
I love all my experience counter planeswalkers

my favourite proliferate interaction is Roalesk + kicked Rite of Replication Does lethal commander damage in one shot.
Legendary rule? Do you run Mirror Box

Evolution Sage is going to be the best card in that deck.

@@dac314 I agree Sage has a high upside on a good turn. But for my deck, It felt like a win more, as opposed to helping defend on an average turn.
This is pretty much how my vorinclex deck works.
Personally, I've fallen for Thrummingbird. It's an all-star in Marchesa, the Black Rose. Cheap, has evasion, makes your dethrone stuff better...
Totally. And functionally reprinted in white with Grateful Apparition.

Blue got a second copy recently in Guildpact Informant too. Love me some tiny evasive creatures becoming huge :)

Well guess I'm making a proliferate deck next

I don’t think Iv ever been more confused in my life
Did he just say Experience counters? LMAO
I LOVE PROLIFERATION!!!!!
I want for of it!
Land drops are the easiest thing to get until you mulligan to 4 because you had absolutely no lands.
It’s so nice in Mizzix
Shout out to Pir and Toothy
Planeswalkers dont have experience counters they are called loyalty counters.
"Yeah... I can, I did that last time I played magic" roflcopters, something tells me that's the reason for the season... or video in this case lol

Try ral zarek and mu yanling to get infinite turns

Small nitpick!
Planeswalkers have loyalty counters, not experience counters :p
Deepglow Skate
Fertalid +evolution sage is the best
HOW DOES IT WORK IN PLAY ?
Toxrill likes proliferate :P
Planeswalkers have experience counters?
No they have loyalty counters.
I made that comment because “Jumbo” said planeswalkers have experience counters, apparently no one else noticed.
@@timtauber5557 I dont know if you're new to the game so I gave the information.

😁
W7 is not a commander playable magic card
The proliferate sword wasn't worth shit until all will be one started to be spoiled.
