Warming up is SO important!! This is a quick, yet effective warm up routine that you should complete before each workout! Save this video... you'll be using it lots! Much love! Xx - Maddie
The way you were jumping around and running in place is good footwork training for martial arts. Great video overall and thanks for the tips, one of the best warm up vids I've seen.
Not gonna lie, I hated this warm up when I first did it because I felt really weak and out of shape. Now it reminds me how far Ive come cause I can get through it without breaking a sweat(the high knees still get me sometimes). I feel so much healthier, strong, and confident thanks to this channel. I've gotten multiple positive comments about how my body is changing. I've never felt or looked better. Thank you so much for making this channel.
Have been using this warm up for about 3 weeks now. was really frustrated at first because I could barely make it through but now I feel like it is one of the best warm up work outs for me! keep pushing everyone itll get easier :)
This is the first-ever workout video that has brought me to tears. My leg gave out during the second round of high knees and I couldn't help but cry over how weak my body became during my most recent depressive episode. I guess it just means that I'll have to keep revisiting this video until I'm stronger. This warm-up is very helpful and eye-opening lol.

okay but i always do this warm up before my work outs and today was the first day that i did all the cardio without taking a break so yeah... im kinda proud of myself lol
This feels more like workout than warm-up (out of breath). :D I also like the timer showing how much time left for each movement- this one didn't have so it felt long.
this has been a really useful warm-up video thank you! i just wanted to voice my experience with the fellow people in the comments. despite from the outside not looking thaaat unhealthy, i was vERY out if shape, like as in I hadn't chosen to exercise in years, so the hardest thing here I found was the cardio. despite being for such a short time, I really really struggled to keep going, I took lots of breaks to catch my breath and recover. After 2 (TWO) whole weeks of doing this before other workouts i can finally do the full cardio segment without stopping. this is a huge achievement for me, just wanted to share in case anyone else was still frustrated like I was that it wasn't instantly easy to do things labelled as beginner level. anyways thanks for reading if anyone did! :)
I've yet to comment on one of your videos because I only ever watch them on my TV. But I felt I needed to let you know how much you've changed my life for the better. I started doing your videos back in March. They were very hard at first. But now I do at least an hours worth of your videos 5 times a week. I never weigh myself, but its amazing how much my body has changed. I feel confident now and when I look in the mirror I love what I see. I even canceled my gym membership because I honestly just love working out at home now. You are an inspiration and I just wanted to thank you for everything. I also love how you are always uploading new stuff. Its nice to switch things up from time to time. Sorry for the long comment, but I wanted to make sure I thanked you for everything because without you I wouldn't be where I am today.(:
I've been doing this video before my workouts for 4 days in a row now, and I can already feel a difference in the extent to which I can stretch my body and also perform the moves!!! Thank you MadFit, your page is amazing!
today’s my first day doing this warmup ... i must say i couldn’t do many of it and kept taking breaks . i feel like i can’t move my legs anymore after this lol .. well this is the first day of my journey and i’m proud to say i completed this instead of being lazy .
I’ll be updating this actively! Week one of getting into shape: Oh boy, this definitely isn’t for the faint of heart. For me- As dramatic as I am- I was struggling. Of course we all struggle with everything at first but afterwards I definitely felt like I accomplished something. Week two of getting into shape: It got a little easier! I tried doing this about 2-3 times per week for every workout as well. I changed my diet and started buying more vegetables and proteins at the store so working out would be less stressful on my body. Oh lord I’ve listened to so many comfort audios. Meditating as cheesy as it sounded, it actually works when You do it. Week three of getting into shape: I finally did this routine without breaking a sweat! I definitely recommend this for beginners wanting to challenge and help them in their fitness journey. It definitely gets better after a while of getting used to the new things, 100% worth doing! **I definitely took notes from using this warm up routine before every workout.** in the past three weeks, I can run (finally) and my endurance has picked up a lot. I also dropped 10 pounds from changing my diet and workout out 2-3 days per week! Hard work really pays off!~* Week 4-7: I’m actually really impressed by how much stronger my legs and arms have gotten! My endurance is much higher now and I can run for about 10+ Mins! I never could do that before this workout routine. (Also keep in mind that I had a goal that I wanted to achieve beforehand! I also did this as a challenge :> I don’t suggest on losing weight this fast as it can be very harmful to your body! Please take care of your body and listen to your bodies’ cues!) Final result: I actually took many breaks while doing the exercises at first. About maybe 1-5 per session. I managed to work my way up to having 1-3 breaks per workout and combined with 5 min jog I can say that this workout actually helped me. For someone who has always been unfit and overweight, this workout helped me achieve my goal of changing my body and becoming fit! This is my final log in my fitness journey. Remember to stay hydrated, take breaks, and stay safe! This only changed my endurance of course, but with time and effort the challenge will be worth it.
This is my first time working out and I am so out shape, I could barely get through the warm ups which is a huge reality check and I decided to really focus on my physical health through this summer. I will keep going strong and I hope that in a few months I can get through this warm up as easy as the instructor. Wish me luck, guys!
I've been a stay at home mom for about a year and a half now and haven't gotten much exercise and found your channel and this warm up alone kicked my ass 😭 gonna follow this up with your Say So video, hopefully I can keep up!

Thanks for making this video! One of my dad's close friends found out I was really good at yoga and exercise and she asked me to teach yoga to her kids for an hour straight once a week. I was completely lost at what to teach them, as my yoga and workout routine is around 20 minutes, not an hour. But thanks to videos like these I have a full routine planned for them!
Doing this everyday...the thing is i love working out i just have to stay consistent so.. Day 1: done Day 2: done Day 3: done Day 7: missed alot because i was in a. Bad place... but going to continue
Love this and have been using it every day before your other workouts - do you think you could also film an apartment friendly version ? I think my neighbours are getting a bit sick of me doing all the jumping movements every morning 😂 Thanks!!
I really appreciate that you actually go through the workouts fully and not just do one round then tell everyone to do it twice or w.e. It’s like your pushing through with us and it actually keeps me motivated to even continue 😅🙌🏼
I’ve been following your videos for a couple weeks now and this is the first time I was able to get thru the warm up without pausing!! Haha progress is real!!!

Hey, first off thank you so so much! Your workouts have helped me start my days off feeling great and have helped keep me fit during quarantine. I usually do your warm up, one or two of your HIIT or ab workouts then I do your cool down/stretch. Are there exercises you could recommend to substitute the jumping ones or a different video I could use for warm up that is apartment friendly? I live in a super old building with creeky floors and I'm trying not to make too much noise for the people living below me.
I love this warm up and I do it nearly everyday. Sometimes I mix i do your 5 minute apartment friendly workout warm up. Hello from Vancouver Island Canada. Just started watching, great warm up although I am a 58 year old male, it felt like a workout. Look forward to exploring your workouts for abs and older folks! Have a great day!
Thanks! I have been searching for a short warm up/exercise to do every morning before starting work at home and this seems perfect. I scheduled a workout routine for myself where I have a target area each work day. Every time I re-enter my work space, I must do one exercise throughout the day. This would be a great way to warm up and wake for the work day.
Just starting my workout journey. I haven't worked out since I had my daughter like 7 years ago (where does the time go??) This warmup was a workout for me, but I'm excited to start the journey and see my progression. Hopefully one I'll do this warmup as easily as you do!
Thank you. I have been out of shape for a couple years. You set me up nice for a short bout of weight lifting. I look forward to more of this in the hours and day to come. Thanks again!
Best warm up ever! This is my second week of using this warmup before my workout and it’s already getting easier , I noticed I need way less rest time for the cardio part
@@jessd3601 I mean yeah that's the plan, it just made my body much more sore than usual bc it didn't feel like a warm up. I just follow another warm up before following along to this ^^
So I did this three times this week and a bunch of another of your videos and I'm so impressed about how easier it gets. Thank you so much for your work, you are making me love exercising again. With the beginner flexibility I can already see improvement. Again, thank you ♥
i thought I was fit enough to do this before my workout, but no. for the week I’m gonna do this 2x a day instead of my workout bc if this is hard so is my workout.
warm up? I'm already dying!!! yall this is my second time doing this warm-up ngl its a lil better Hey guys so I've been going to group work out and now im out of town but wanted to continue training so this is my third time doing this warm up and it's really not that hard now. So just keep going you'll get there
I got into a regular routine once my city reopened gyms (safely) back in july & I managed to get into the best shape of my life, so it was a real challenge when we rolled back to our previous covid restrictions about a month ago (i.e. bye bye, gym). I've had to adapt my fitness goals to my small apartment, without much equipment, so I'm very happy that I found this warmup. I use it before my strength training cicuits and it does just enough to get me ready to move, but not totally on my ass by the end 👏
I feel so bad. When I used to go to dance class regularly, I could do something like this with ease. Now, 10 years and 2 kids later, the wsrm up feels like a full work out. I am actually in the worst shape I have ever been. This lockdown (and my youngest finally being potty trained) has really helped me regain the motivation to get back into shape.
I know the feeling before my asthma became so bad I used to be able to do cardio easily now I have to do short workouts. But as they say Rome wasn't built in a day and neither were you. You will get stronger over time.💕
I can't even finish without stopping!! I feel like this is actual exercise, I'm so out of shape I can't even warm up lmao. This must be a warm up for those who already exercise cause I'm dying 🤣
I like these simple routines for warming up and incorporating flexibility training!Perhaps they will help me avoid straining muscles when I do resistance training. Great job Maddie!🙂👍😊
I have physical limitations. I have a hard time transitioning from sitting on the floor to standing up. Can you do upper body, lower body and full body stretching workouts that are all standing. I truly enjoy all your videos, especially the standing ab video. Looking forward to my next work out with you. Thanks for making workouts short and challenging
Hi mady! nice warm-up, but one doubt during warm-up exercise static stretching is not advisable according to ACE , logical explanation for that static stretching will decrease ur core temperature. so it won't serve the purpose of warm up, only few static stretches were there but rest all good dynamic moves which pushes ur core temperature up and increase the blood flow.
Ima keep it 💯. This is helpful. I hurt my back years ago and its always a challenge getting into or keeping a routine without feeling pain. This has helped loosen up before any workout whether its hiit or just lifting. Keep it up. Plus you look great!
Here’s a Madfit challenge: For two weeks, try to do this 10 minute warm up, the 500 rep core workout and alternate between her leg and arm workout.( I have a public playlist of the videos I’m referring to on my channel.) For example, on Monday you would do the warm up the core workout and legs. On Tuesday you would do the warm up core workout and arms. Hope you try it! Comment about your results!

Best warm up ever! This is my second week of using this warmup before my workout and it’s already getting easier , I noticed I need way less rest time for the cardio part
i don't think this is a beginner-level warmup, with the way everyone here (including me lol) feels like it's an actual workout
keninchen it’s only ten minutes lol just pair it with another ten minute work out
@@jessd3601 I mean yeah that's the plan, it just made my body much more sore than usual bc it didn't feel like a warm up. I just follow another warm up before following along to this ^^
I know!
if you keep doing it it will def start to feel like a 5 min workout, but i get it, i was there too lol
pretty sure!
Finished the entire routine. So proud of myself 😄
Wow, that was a very nice stretching warm up, but I must say the last deep squat really gets me, I could literally feel my inner thigh shaking 😂😂😂
Just did this before I start my workout right now! Feel nice and limber and ready to sweat 🙌🏽🤎
*does 2 mins of bending and stretchimg warmup *
My hamstrings: hello oldie
This is day 10 of this warmup for me and i am telling you i absolutely love it!! Gets your muscles definitely warmed up!
Workout before the workout 👏🏻👏🏻
But this and the 10 min arms .
I’m done .
only the third time doing this and I can already finish without taking a break!! thank you!
Oh I’m definitely warm...and sweating. Wow.
I love this video because it dose work very much but not too hard. I will do this before every my workout! I wanna say thank you from Japan!
I feel healthier just watching this unless its the apple Im eating. Good job 🍎
Lol same! As I'm watching this, I have an urge to grab an apple
I've been doing this workout for almost 2 months and now I can say that I master it, especially the cardio part. 💪
warm up? I'm already dying!!!
yall this is my second time doing this warm-up ngl its a lil better
Hey guys so I've been going to group work out and now im out of town but wanted to continue training so this is my third time doing this warm up and it's really not that hard now. So just keep going you'll get there
ive been doing this warm up for two months now and I can finally say it's easy today!
actually this is a warm up routine but i felt like this is a whole entire routine for me
I got into a regular routine once my city reopened gyms (safely) back in july & I managed to get into the best shape of my life, so it was a real challenge when we rolled back to our previous covid restrictions about a month ago (i.e. bye bye, gym). I've had to adapt my fitness goals to my small apartment, without much equipment, so I'm very happy that I found this warmup. I use it before my strength training cicuits and it does just enough to get me ready to move, but not totally on my ass by the end 👏
Can't deal with the fact this is just a warm up 😂 I'm absolutely shattered and have to recover before I can do the next part of my workout 😂😂
Wow... followed this for the whole 10 mins. Felt like 10-min INTENSE warm up!
You will get stronger over time.💕
Thank you for having so many workouts in your Chanel to choose from 😊 I have been doing your workouts for about two weeks now. Loving them 💜
The song at 4:41 is so good. Anyone know the name of the version? I can’t find it :(
Edit: ok found it: Snake City - Tell You I’m Sorry
This is litteraly the BEST warm up, it feels really intense but effective on every part of my body, thank you
this video has been part of my morning routine now for 2 weeks☀️🏋🏻♀️🍑🏁
good job
Love this workout! Got my heart pumping and I’m sweeting from simple but effective moves!! Thank you!
Halfway through i thought, "hold up, this is just a warmup !?"
lol
I have physical limitations. I have a hard time transitioning from sitting on the floor to standing up. Can you do upper body, lower body and full body stretching workouts that are all standing. I truly enjoy all your videos, especially the standing ab video. Looking forward to my next work out with you. Thanks for making workouts short and challenging
Wow Love these!
Did this warm up after my class today. I knew I needed to move my body through exercise. Ngl this was tough af but I'm glad I pushed through! 🙌
Warmed up just by watching this, thanks I guess.
Hi mady! nice warm-up, but one doubt during warm-up exercise static stretching is not advisable according to ACE , logical explanation for that static stretching will decrease ur core temperature. so it won't serve the purpose of warm up, only few static stretches were there but rest all good dynamic moves which pushes ur core temperature up and increase the blood flow.
What the shit! Thats like whole workout. i´d have to do my workout next day after this kind of warm up.
Ima keep it 💯. This is helpful. I hurt my back years ago and its always a challenge getting into or keeping a routine without feeling pain. This has helped loosen up before any workout whether its hiit or just lifting. Keep it up. Plus you look great!
Here’s a Madfit challenge:
For two weeks, try to do this 10 minute warm up, the 500 rep core workout and alternate between her leg and arm workout.( I have a public playlist of the videos I’m referring to on my channel.) For example, on Monday you would do the warm up the core workout and legs. On Tuesday you would do the warm up core workout and arms. Hope you try it! Comment about your results!
I did one of your 20 minute full body vids yesterday without a warm up or cool down so today I added the warm up and boom, this warm up kicked my tush
