Hey! It's Stella, I'm so glad you liked the pattern! It's one of my favorites and I keep it hung up between my two jumper girls I have. Can't wait to see your finish on Instagram!
@@ladymiaeriksson5809 I do have an etsy and a website but the kits aren't up on the site right now. I need to put more of them together. The PDF pattern is available though if you want to get the pieces together yourself. The PDF has all the sheets in the kit. Otherwise I might have more by the end of the month. The site is www.StellasWhatNots.com
Those trap doors are AWESOME! I love Peter from Bugs in Cyber Space. I bought a Phid. Regius girl from him about 7 months ago & now that she’s older I’ve paired her with one of my males and now I have loads of teeny tiny baby spoods!!
Bethany I want a tiny spooder, lol It’s my birthday month on the 12th.I’ve always have wanted to get a spider these months from watching videos and how to care for them.
Really enjoyed the vid, Kat and neither of these has much in the way of documentation and so we will all learn together! The set ups look great for this size of spider. They should web up their burrows to make them perfect for themselves in no time. Thanks so much and it's just always a treat to see the various arthropods through your eyes!
I actually like how you handle your T's and you provide them with the correct enclosures. Props to you and I am sure those tarantulas are enjoying being in your care. :)
Thank you for showing the containers! I just bought some for my jumping spider mommy who will "hopefully" have eggs with legs soon and these are perfect for when the babies get bigger! You are the absolute best! Love your channel!
Love from Canada!! Even though you will never know this but you really helped my mom get over her arachnophobia. She and I just got a Lasidora Parahybana!
A parahybana as the first one after arachnophobia? Ballsy lol They're pretty... Confident. But easy enough to take care of and interesting to look at. Better than the beginners pet rock kind of spiders
Both Beautiful trapdoor spiders. Playing dead to fool people becuase its a safety thing for them and being so tiny. They will be awesome content. Really appreciate your videos Tarantula Kat. . Chriss 🇬🇧
Aww love those trap door spiders, so awesome. I wish in the UK we had s store that had lots of enclosures like that. Spider playing dead, really funny. Reminds me of how the hog nose snake likes to play dead too. Cool video Kat.
Wow, they both dug down with extremely impressive speed! I can't believe how quickly they dug down their own body length (and the bigger one even farther down). I guess it helps that the soil is relatively loose, but still... really cool! It'll be neat to see them make more permanent tunnels- shouldn't take to long judging by the video today and how much the little one webbed just during shipping. 😊
What is super cool place to go cat. I have never seen a container shop that sold nothing but containers. No, I wouldn't be putting spiders in them but I can think of a whole lot of other things to put in them!
I got my avicularia avicularia on Friday! She's so pretty! Today, Sunday, she ate a big fat cricket which took her most of the day to do. Then, she spent some time cleaning. That was quite a cool thing to see! Managed to snap a couple pictures of her doing it. 😊🕷🛀
I got an obt spiderling two and half month ago and for a good 2 month regina has lived in a piece of screwed up paper, which got dirty fast, but she loved all the crack's in the paper she could hide, so i bought a rock pebble from an aquatic's shop a hollow one for the fish to swim in and out off, first she loved it first 24hrs, then she made a wed up on the outside, which her food trampled 5 day's later, so took opportunity to fill pebble quarter full with dirt, and know i have a pet rock, cause i never see her she love it, just wait's for her food to wander in, when needed plan is to just transport rock to bigger tank, with different aquatic sculpture's.
How exactly do you take care of a trapdoor spider? If it's under substrate all day, how do you feed it? Do they periodically surface to check for food? Just curious because I was thinking about getting my first spider and this one got my attention because my name is Steven and I thought it would be cool to have a spider with the same name as my first entry into the hobby.
I know this is a year later. But why don't you get the colored ones? Does the color make a big difference when it comes to you housing your spider or is it just a preference. 🤔🤔
I have some questions, about the Florida Huntsman. She has had four molts in 4 months. Wild-caught and growing so fast. No webbing and moves like lightning. I would like to keep her alive, what is the best way?
what do you feed these little guys? before i started watching you, dark den and one hand only guy (har har) i would go out of my way to get rid of any little intruders.. now I have some kind of funnel spider living under my dresser, an orb spider that blesses me with its presence above my sliding door and a cute little jumping spider that lives just outside that door on my balcony. Really tempted to catch the jumping spider but I don't have anything to feed it yet :/
I can’t message you but I just wanted to suggest you watch Dave’s little beasties on here, he has some really interesting ideas and techniques when dealing with his spiders
I have a question. My poecilotheria tarantula molted, and when I was cleaning its inclosure I found its leg still moving on the ground of its inclosure. I checked on my tarantula and it’s missing the very front leg next to its teeth. Will my tarantula be ok? I am worried, this has never happen to me before
Can someone tell me the name of the tool she uses to poke holes in the plastic. I've asked people at hardware stores and they look at me like I've got a hole in my head and I don't know what I'm googling but having no luck finding one!
I have a false widow that I never see in action, anytime it senses movement it scrunches up and plays dead. I haven't seen the thing physically move in over a month, I just drop a cricket in and the next day take the husk off the web.
Have you ever introduced your husband to us? I've been watching you for about a year and I don't remember ever meeting him. It would be nice to me hubby. Is he into the collecting as well?
There’s an entire store devoted to containers!?!? Have I been living under a rock?? How freaking awesome!
I wish we had this in the UK!
It's amazing!!
Cries in european
That and so much more. I always find gadgets and other things I never knew I needed everytime I go there.
🤭 I only have Dollar tree lmao
I've been playing dead all day. Its been way too cold to get out of bed.
Haha! Same!
Same here lol
Bugs in Cyberspace: So, which Spiders can I gift you?
Kat: Yes.
As a way To get rid of my arachaphobia I started watching spider videos now I am addicted to them😅
“Put me back it’s freezing outside!”

I love how he will take the time to answer all your questions too. I got a jumper from him well before I got into tarantulas.

I have almost watched all your vids over the past 3 days. I'm so happy I found your channel, I subscribed after the 2nd video. Big love from the UK.
Love the voice over information shorts!
Shoutout to Text-to-Speech man, for giving clarification on these trapdoor spiders to us plebeians
Love from Canada!! Even though you will never know this but you really helped my mom get over her arachnophobia. She and I just got a Lasidora Parahybana!
I love the Salmon Pink Birdeaters too! I wanna get one soon.
@@JayTee95 they just have really bad urticating hairs, only reason I stay shy of them
True, I've definitely been reading up on them. I also love all the Ornamentals, but that's not a smart choice 😂😂😂

So cool to see them so small, but already burrowing like that. I definitely wouldn't buy a trapdoor, but they're still really cool.
Love the BCC pants!

Love your hubby's blue top.
So hey Kat I've been thinking about getting my first pet spider soon. What would you recommend as a starter spider?
Do you have any videos showing how you put holes in the Amoc boxes? Trying to figure that out!
