i bought the browning blr last year with the monte carlo stock and haven't really seen it on other rifles its beautiful and works so nicely i don't see why its not more popular
That was very interesting, thank you. Excellent to watch when I'm having breakfast in bed on a Bank Holiday Monday!!! PS I'm the first one to comment!! Huzzah!!
Better holding, more consistency. I love them. But, more weight to carry. Maybe slower to reload and shoot again than typical stock Hence why Merkel have that cut out top on the hole.
Once you see a puff of smoke at the muzzle you know there's no obstruction in the barrel I believe no errant piece of wad or such I'm sure there is someone who will correct me but that's why I do it also it's part of my routine before my next target
@@paulbryan1013 A piece of wad would not stop smoke coming out. The only proof of no obstruction, is a visual inspection. I think it's just a cool factor or something that gives the shooter a buzz. Nothing else
Nicely explained, and the whiteboard graphics really nailed it for me👍

Very interesting.
Jon can you please do a video on cheek pieces on shotguns
Covering what aspects in particular?
History, pros, cons, how do they help shooters and whats really the reason people have to shell out extra money for a cheek piece on a stock
Adjustable cheek pieces or raised rifle/european style?
www.hallowellco.com/pancake_cheekpiece.htm
This is what im talking abt just to give you an idea of what i am referring too
Brilliant - we shall work something out
Not about stocks, why do shooters blow down barrels after shooting?
